Finding herself in a time and dimension far from the 1960s Washington she thought she knew so well, Marty Matthews flees a society of alpha-males and the females who service them, as well as the king who desires her as he has ached for no woman ever before and will not let her get away. USA Today best-selling author and "Queen of Steam" Jaid Black’s sinfully erotic, beguiling story of how love surprises is the third in the Trek Mi Q'an series and performed with a feeling and passion that will often send shivers everywhere.

# 3 in the series

Kil and Marty/Mari main couple

Warning this starts off at a dark part. The rape and murder of the late Empress Jana. Her son Kil unable to help thus causing him to avoid emotions and finding his Scared Mate.

Martha "Marty" is orginally from 1967 Earth time when she gets sucked into a time-warp thing that ages her 10 years as well as transporting her to the Planet Tron. She is saved by warrior women of the villiage Wani. Which lucky her is, opposite of Tryston, ruled by women where men are slaves.

Kil enslaves her and adds her to his harem of bound slaves unaware that she turns out to be his Scared Mate. So if you've read the previous stories you know it's going to get fun. Making a sex slave of a Scared Mate who is straight from the feminist moment only adds to the fun.

Even better when she runs with her best friend and freely released bound slave Ora. While on the run we run into a certain character long thought dead.

Bound slaves, time-travel to "alien" world, orgasms aplenty, exibition, hedonist and so much more. Highly recommened if you enjoy reading stories containing that listed.

This wasn't my favorite but it was still worth reading as part of the Trek series.

In this story, Kil gets Marty, a bra-burning feminist from the 1960s. No way is she going to be the submissive servant and one of his harem girls. He captures her in a battle and makes her a bound servant to him, not realizing she is his sacred mate. She later runs away from him. I loved the scene when he found her, page 124.

This book also begins the following stories which continue in future books. Kara is a teen and is pledged to Cam once she turns 25. She plans to run away from home and him so she can experience independent life before being wed. Dari is 14 and is pledged to Gio and is planning to run away also. Kari lives on planet Galis and meets Death, they are strongly attracted to each other.

DATA:
Sexual language: erotic. Number of sex scenes: twenty-five plus. Setting: 1967 Washington DC and 6040 Yessat Years Red Moon of Morak and Planet Galis. Copyright: 2003. Genre: erotic paranormal science fiction romance.

TREK SERIES:
Enslaved is the fourth story in the Trek series (labeled as story 3 by the author). I recommend reading them in order. See my review for "The Empress' New Clothes" for a list of all the Trek books in order. I reviewed it 3/11/08 under 5 stars.

Overall: I was so excited to start reading this book and i was disappointed. The prologue of this book broke my heart into a million pieces, but I was able to understand Kil SO MUCH BETTER. Also Marty was just the heroine this series needed. She is smart, witty and down right dangerous. I am still a little confused on how she ended up on Wani, but maybe that will be explained in a later book. The love connection between them was fun, exciting and VERY lusty. I can't wait to see what "hope" their future will bring.

Characters: Kil & Marty (Mari)

Page Turner: YES!

Series Cont: YES! Cam & Kara =D

Recommend: OMG YES! Well if your a feminist then No lol

Not my cup of tea. Very short, the story didn't flow and I found the characters repulsive.

Ok, but frustrating

While I like the story of Kill and Marty aka Mari (& learning the sad events that unfolded on Tron many years pass as perspective), I didn't care one bit for what is to come with Kara and Dari! The high-handed ways of the warriors towards female characters ( even Death and Kari) is getting to be a bit much! First we had collars in Rem's book, now public spankings and removing 14yo girls from their parents for mearly speaking to another is almost too much to bear. It was great to have a mention of Kil's mom in that scene with Mari and I'm very intrigued by Zy'an, this big bad that Ari fortold and who Death escaped from.

4 stars!

I actually like Kil especially from book 1.

To be honest, I would want to read this without some of the absurd sex scenes. I want to be more invested on the characters on the emotional level especially on Kil's part but sometimes I got distracted with the sex scenes.

My review is not for intelligent discussion. It's what I felt/thought while reading the book. For 2021, I would rate the book this way:
1 - DNF'ed
2 - does not exist
3 - did not like
4 - it was okay
5 - I like it / I enjoy reading it (but it doesn't mean I recommend it)

The story of Kil and Marti was a bit better than the previous book. This story seemed to include a lot more side stories too which livened it up a bit. I think I thought that Kil would be a bit different than the others based on his previous appearances but he was pretty similar to the others. There was a little more storyline and world building here which was good plus I liked Marti as a character. I liked that she was from the sixties and was more of a feminist (if it's at all possible to be one in these books), yet she embraced everything in an openminded way by the end.

Marty Matthews was sucked from earth to a female dominated world in space. No more than a few weeks later after just getting to learn about the Wani, they are invaded by the Q'an for harboring insurrectionists and Marty is captured as a sex slave for Kil, the King of Morak. From the beginning things are off in their relationship; she is not submissive but is empathetic to his needs; he finds he wants no other slave and is not complete without her. Interesting variation on the other Sacred Mate scenarios. Another okay erotic tale.

Why?!

I am being such a glutton for punishment (and not in a good way) continuing on reading this stuff. Once again, the main protagonist is feisty and fun, but the whole male dominating society - especially when it comes to sexuality and sex - is enough for me to throw my e-reader across the room.

Interesting and strange

I am not quite sure what to think of this next installment of the series. I love Marti's strength and perseverance! Kil had a lot to learn about love. It's the other things happening around them that are a little disconcerting. I'm not sure if I will be able to move onto book 4.

Emotional disconnect is terrible!

This book is a great reminder of why everyone needs to be sure to analyze their own emotions every once in a while. Kil got his girl in the end, but fated connections only exist in stories and here on earth we may not get that second chance to say I love you. Another wonderful read from Jaid Black.

Great to have Kil's story - a tortured warrior who found his groovy mate.
Enjoyed the interweaving plots of which I hope will all be completed.

Kil is constantly trying to avoid and avenge his past by starting and looking for wars. One such missions has him finding Marty, a woman sucked into their time from the 60s and her bra burning protest. She is lucky to be brought to one of the few areas where the woman are in control and they take her under their wing and teach her how to fight and defend their land. Kil sees her and must take her to be a 'bound servant', or the spoils of war so to speak. Obviously Marty doesnt deal with this well and refuses to see him, especially after witnessing his debauchery. But he keeps calling for her night after night, even refusing the other women (very rare in this planet/series of books). They finally get together and develop a bond and he even stays with only her, ignoring the other women altogether. When his brother needs help he has to leave and Marty decides to escape with one of her friends there. But unbeknownst to her (and somewhat to Kil) she is his mate and he can now find her relatively easily. Kil luckily realizes he is a huge idiot that he didnt recognize their bond, but still annoying that it took him so damn long. More of the story of the daughters who are already set with certain mates is shown and is pretty depressing. Dont understand why their moms dont talk to them more and tell them that it isnt some horrible thing. So that annoyed me and made me not blame them for wanting to take off. Cant believe Zor's decision, thought he had kind of changed a bit under Kyra's influence and its obvious bad shit is going to happen because of his decision. Not my favorite book, but learn more about some of Kil's history and the whole deal with how the kid's age and the customs there.

Loved it!!!

There was so much going on. So many different stories all wrapped up in one. Kil and Mari, Death and Kari, Gio and Dari. Budding relationships, scandal, runaway princesses.

Kil and Death suffer from very similar problems. They are both blind to what is right in front of them.
Kil is practically allergic to love. He has spent his entire life numb to his feelings, until the little runaway Mari breaks through to his icy heart. Mari wants nothing more than to love Kil but fears he will never love her back the way she deserves.

Death find pleasure in another little runaway, Kari. He realizes too late that he should have made her his and took her home. As soon as he turned his back she was gone. Kari was not accustom to dominating warriors. On her planet women stood above men. So the surprise at feeling the need to submit to Death, even though it went against everything she new, made her leave her home and the love she could have had.

Gio feels shamed by his betrothed Dari. Dari, her sister and cousin has become involved in their own little scandal. Dari refuses to be given away to a warrior just because her uncle (the emperor) wished to mend an alliance. Gio feels that something else is wrong and has to keep her close.

Now that Kil and Mari has come together and are living peacefully, who will be next to complete their hearts wishes… Death or Gio? Or maybe neither?!?!?!

I read a bunch of this author's books, took a break and then thought I'd read something from her again. This book was really good. It was very funny in parts and a little sad. I read the book after this first, so I know how some of these story lines pan out. But this didn't spoil the book at all.

Marty is sucked into some kind of energy thingy and sent to a parallel but fast moving timewise universe. She ends up on a planet where women are dominant and men are subordinate. She's then trained in fighting so even though she's a foot shorter than the woman she thinks she's tough. When the king visits this planet, she yelling slurs at him and flipping him off, which he thinks is funny. He captures her as war booty and then finds out there's something special about her. I'd recommend this book.

I really like Kil having a story, and his match with Marty is really good. I like the stories that the female escapes the man's grasp and the male finally realizes he loves the girl and pursues her. I also like the Death, who is determined to fined his mate since the first story finally gets one, but not for long, so I expect their story.

The only thing that I can nag about is how Marty said "groovy" so many times. There are many slang that 60's say but Marty only says that word (also "dominant paradigm". If I read one more "groovy" in her dialog, I'm gonna rip my hairs out.hehe. Their ending and climax is really touching and I'm happy that Kil have his ending for i'm really interested in his character.

There are also the side story of how Kara and Jana escape Trystonn and how Dari discovers the "evil" one, which is interesting to read in the next book.

Enslaved is the third book in the Trek Mi Q’an series. The story centers around Kil and Marty.

The way this one starts off was really interesting it seems Marty was a feminist back in the 60’s and somehow she gets pulled into a time warp and come out in a female dominated planet called Wani. Kil has finally decided it was time to assert his royal claim on Wani and in the process comes face to face with Mari (formally known as Marty). Kil is a bit slow and thinks to make Mari part of his harem but that plan quickly backfires.

This story was a lot of fun and I liked the crazy chase between Mari and Kil . I really enjoyed all of the different societies or worlds it was interesting to compare that to the first book....

Marty is a bra burning feminist from 1967 who gets sucked into a wormhole and hurled through time and dimensions. When she gets out of the wormhole 10 Yessat years (100 human years) have passed, she has aged 10 years and is no longer on earth. She winds up on a planet of Amazonian type women where she trains with them to become a warrior and adopts the name Mari. Kil finds her here and claims her for his bound woman but she isn't going to make life easy for a warrior too dense to recognize his own Sacred Mate. This was a great story and Marty was just the type of person someone like Kil needed.

A Great Book !

I loved this book and the series as I've read them . This story revolves around King Kil and his sacred Mate finding one another . Marty , a woman from Earth during the 60's is transported to another planet by a falling meteor . This story has action, drama, comedy, and romance . I laughed so hard during some of Marty's .tirades against Kil being a " dildo breath" and flipping him off . Of course it only works if he understands the insults . The End of the book starts storylines to continue into the next book . I can't wait to read them . ENJOY the fantasy !!!

3 1/2 round up to 4 stars.

I recently returned to this series after a hiatus - didn't much like the second book. This one, however, got me back on the Jaid Black bandwagon. "Enslaved" features Black's typical, over-the-top, sexed out humor, with an interesting storyline and supporting characters. Marty, or "Mari" as the Trek Mi Q'an natives call her, is a groovy chick from the 1960's, a women's lib kinda bra-burning gal, who gets sucked into a time warp and into the path of uber-Alpha and oversexed warrior Kil. It's campy, it's fun, it's the reason I like to read this author.

Although the majority of the book concerns Marty's adventures after she's transported from Earth and encounters Kil on a battle field, a number of minor characters that we've met in previous books also get some attention. The next generation of daughters, Kara, Dari, and Jana, make plans to assert their independence, Gio and Cam have concerns about their future Sacred Mates, and Death begins to question what his future may hold for him. Nicely paced, humourous, and erotic, this was a very entertaining addition to the Trek Mi Q'an world.

I love this book! Both the hero and heroine are charming, the relationship is spicy and hot. The story began to have a deeper plot that becomes the foundation of the next books in the series. Now it is not only revolving on the main characters, but started to have an opening for other characters as well. Actually, the erotic scenes are not as much as the other books, but maybe this what makes the book more interesting. But don’t worry; there are still enough steams to burn the readers :)

I liked this much better than book 2, but book 1 is still my favorite. I liked Kil and Marty and again we get interesting updates on the early heroines' daughters. I'm missing the chemistry of the first book though. Without that, the numerous sex scenes fall flat. I am eagerly anticipating Death's story. That looks very promising.
