Twisted Sick
The title doesn't pertain to gore and violence, but fun plot twists. The twists are designed to act like 4x4s boards striking you across the side of the head. Sorry! Did that hurt? These stories also move quickly and range from humor to thriller and plenty in-between. It's a fun, fast-paced ride. 41 stories included.

This book was such an amazing one! I have always loved reading tales on horror and ones which are twisted, the ones similar to what Edgar Alan Poe would write. This book was perfect.
I have to say, the stories were a quick read. I loved, loved loved reading them. The best part about the book was the fact that the stories were not linked to each other. There wasn't a fixed pattern. Some stories were macabre, some downright creepy, some filled me with horror and some made me laugh hard!
I enjoyed the author's wit and I felt that the book was one of those which didn't have too many reviews but which was something which needed to be discovered and enjoyed.
I realised that such short stories are the best sort of books to be enjoyed at the Coffee Table. This book, or e-book as I enjoyed it, is best enjoyed sitting alone, with a blanket or a pillow, or a coffee!!
I can't really describe the stories without giving too much away! I do have to say that the twists are those which throw you off and really make you enjoy the book and its unexpected nature. In some stories, you have to read it twice to let the story sink in! Brilliant stuff!

Are you a normal individual? If so, you're strongly advised not to read this book. The pages within contain offensive language, violent behavior, bizarre humor, and evil tricks on the mind. These 41 stories should only be read by the deranged, the disturbed, and/or those with a warped sense of humor. Proceed with caution!
This was the description of the book on Amazon. Even though it was a free download, I nearly passed on it. I am glad that I did not do so. Yes, the book does contain all of the things that it warns about. But not as badly as it suggests and definitely doesn't qualify as twisted sick. I expected tons of gore and horror that would cause me to stop reading after the first story or two. Obviously I didn't stop reading because what I found was a mix of humor, horror, crime, and drama short stories. Were they all winners? No, but enough were to make me like the book.
These stories are short. Most took less than 10 minutes to read. Perfect length for a quick break, before going to sleep, or hitting the bathroom. I especially enjoyed the humorous ones.
As for the language, most of it fit the story and did not go to the point were it distracted from it. A few times I felt it could have been avoided and am slightly curious why an author with such a vivid imagination would choose to go for such an easy path.
Overall these stories are highly imaginative and entertaining. So ignore the attempt to shock and sit back and enjoy them.

I usually read longer stories, but I had enjoyed another story by Tyler Nals and I wanted something I could read while waiting for doctor's appointments. I had no idea what I was getting into, but I was greatly amused by the wit and charm of these stories. Some of them warranted re-reading to enjoy the punch lines better.
The book is filled with all kinds of stories that go beyond the scope of horror. It’s a collection of wonderful short stories that will entertain you for days. (Some are rather twisted while others are more humorous.) There is something for everyone in this collection and I highly recommend it.
Don't miss this one if you're looking for an entertaining little read!

I wanted so much to give this book 5 stars but sadly I could only stand to give it 3.
