Who knew a silly game of Twister would turn into this?
After a spirited game of Twister with her fellow apartment mates, wherein the absence of the cardboard "spinny thing” forces them to use an old planchette from a Ouija board as a replacement, Roberta Tisdale’s left hand can, among other fun stuff, set things on fire—namely, her hair.
And right after meeting her, Nina’s hair, too.
Imagine how that conversation goes...
Just when Robbie was adjusting to her new life after turning her back on her wealthy family and their evil machinations, this happens, but she throws her whole body into this crazy magic she's happened upon, learning how to cast spells without taking out an entire country, and getting acqauinted with her new ride, a talking broom named, Hervé (yep. Like the guy on Fantasy Island). All this in the hopes she can become a part of a community who’ll welcome her—a place where she can belong...
Greer Winthrop, a former male witch who’s lost his powers and placed a self-imposed isolation from his coven on himself, has an ugly past and an even uglier secret he’s carried with him for five years. Five painful years. When he gets wind of the scent of his dead grandmother’s magic, now lodged in Robbie’s hand, he’s all about teaching her how to use it while he waits to hear from his coven for advice.
Except, he never hears from his coven and he can’t figure out how his grandmother’s power is still floating around the universe when she’s supposed to be dead… Her magic should have died with her. Now, he’s got a fledgling witch on his hands with some mighty hefty power in her possession—power an insidious monster of a witch once owned. With his powers gone, Greer can only take Robbie so far without the help of his fellow witches.
But how can you do that when your coven members have literally disappeared and you can’t find them—anywhere?
As Robbie and Greer embark on her witch journey, and they find themselves fighting an undeniable attraction—an insidious evil lurks.
And that evil wants Robbie’s magic—no matter the cost!

This series is one of my comfort reads. I love the Oops lady so much, with all their bickering and arguments. I will keep reading even if there are 50 books.
Overall, the accidental witch storyline wasn't my favorite it was great to read about the ladies. I really wish each book mentioned more about Wanda, Marty, and Nina's personal life.
I am so addicted to this series! The Accidental Witch is charming with all of the crazy spells and even a talking broom. Humorous moments, commentary, spells gone wrong and Cassidy’e dry humor kept me laughing the entire time. There is always a puzzle with missing pieces which makes wanting to complete the puzzle entertaining to read.
The characters, along with the story, are great! Robbie and her new situation do not stop her from being strong and taking challenges head on. Greer is the classic hot and sexy witch who steps in to help Robbie understand her new powers while he has a few interesting facts from his past. Nina is back to her intimating ways (but not always) and the nicknames she gives, especially in this book, are great. All the OOPS woman are involved to help Robbie and I love how Cassidy creates a sense of family with all these different paranormal people.
I absolutely recommend giving it at a read. It is easy and quick to read. And there is plenty of fun and entertainment to be had with this crazy paranormal accidental and romance.
We thoroughly enjoyed the adventurous and mysterious plot of "The Accidental Witch" along with its wonderful characters. The story follows Robbie. Tisdale, who becomes a witch, faces challenges in her life with resilience and determination. Greer Winthrop, who has his own struggles, helps Robbie navigate her new life as a witch and protect her.
In typical Accidental fashion, Robbie and Greer form a close bond, supported by the OOPs ladies and their entourage. New characters are introduced, hinting at a new series. Nina always makes us laugh, and the witty banter among the OOPS women was a delight. The talking broom adds humor to the story, making us laugh and smile. The spells gone awry made things interesting.
The characters, especially Robbie, Greer, and Nina. , are well-developed, and the camaraderie among the OOPS women is heartwarming. The mysterious plot keeps the reader engaged, and we found it hard to put the book down. We listened to the audiobook, and the narrator did a fantastic job.
Thoroughly enjoyed the non-stop action and the wonderful characters in The Accidental Witch. We get to meet Roberta (Robbie) Tisdale after she is turned into a witch. I don’t think that’s giving anything away considering the title. Robbie has had a rough go of it lately and a horrid family life. She is struggling but persevering in the face of adversity.
Greer Winthrop has had his own struggles and devastating grief to deal with. However, he drops everything to help Robbie transition to this new phase of her life while also helping to protect her.
In true Accidentals fashion, Robbie and Greer grow close as they help each other through this incident. Of course, the OOPs ladies are there every step of the way with their entire entourage. We also get to meet some new characters that hopefully will feature in the upcoming spinoff series, The Accidental Detectives.
The Accidental Witch is a fantastic addition to the series and an uplifting story.
The ladies of OOPS is back in their latest debacle! Robbie is having a horrid life…once rich, now living in a slum building and working at Dollar General. Her old manny is also staying with her. They live on Ramen noodles. Well one lucky night, an item from the apartment caused her to become a witch!
The ladies are contacted, she goes to their house with a talking broom and her manny. Another shows up, Greer. Greer will be the clue to discovering what happened and how to solve things. Only, per usual, others are in severe danger…not to mention the world~ It will take all of them coming together to put a stop to things once again. Can they do it?
Also, a new series will be starting in December with the awesome ladies of OOPS! Do not forget to pre order your book!!
I always enjoy Dakota Cassidy books and can’t stand the wait for the next addition to the Accidental series. I think there could have been some interaction between Robbie and her sibling or mother to add to the storyline or at least some follow up with them at the end to tie a knot in the relationship. I always enjoy reading about Nina and the author stays true to her characteristics for her characters…you know what to expect and you get it!
This was so much fun. What happens when you've hit rock bottom, playing twister with your new flexible older neighbors, and you now find that you can set your own hair on fire?! Why the lady of OOPS come to help you figure out what happened and help you adjust to life...add in a dark family history for the newfound powers and you get quite a ride.
Another laugh out loud adventure with the OOPS gang. I love our accidental witch Robbie. She’s a poor little rich girl with a heart of gold that has the stones to go toe to toe with Nina. Hervé, Robbies newly acquired talking broom would give Lumière a run for his money. A delightful escape.
I love ❤️ love 💕 love 💗 her books. Can’t wait for them to come out.. this one was just as great as the rest and was wondering how u could have an accidental witch lol.. but worth the read ..
Wow, I can’t say enough about this book and this series as a whole. I love all the characters and their interactions with each other. This book had everything I’ve come to expect from this author with mystery, suspense, and so many laughs. This is a must read
I absolutely LOVE the 'accidentally' series, and this installment did not disappoint. Great storyline and wonderful dialogue. One can't help but be invested in the characters. Highly recommended.
