First off, thank you edelweiss & Tuttle publishing for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

So. I have to admit, Onigiri has been something I've wanted to try making and I appreciate that there was a page,
**AT THE BEGINNING**
with visual instructions on how to cook the rice & shape it. Again, with emphasis of being in the beginning. I have a pet peeve (if not apparent) [-- incoming rant] about having "essential" recipes in the back of the book -- just the annoyance and inconvenience of being referred 100 pages out for a recipe I need in the first 10 pages 😑😤 [rant over]

Fujii gives the pairing a little intro before giving the recipe. which is used to include the health properties the dishes have (which, if you have a section titled Everyday Healthy Meals, it's a nice thing to include, ya'know). I gotta say, the pictures actually look realistic (for the most part). The onigiri and soups are just plated neatly.
