Paige is partway through the year and still holding onto her pesky virginity. However, professionally she's making leaps and strides she never saw herself making. She's getting closer with the hot cop, and the hot doctor, and her hot boss... and still unsure where any of those friendships are heading. At least she can focus on adventure, and fun, and the family of friends she's surrounded herself with. Until her belief in her mission to toss her hat in the ring with anyone falters, and she's shaken and wondering if she knows what she's been doing at all.

This was the perfect second book to the first one. This is less wacky, but still encompasses Paige trying to find herself. She's more open with those she cares about. She invests in friendships over hookups, but she still tries new experiences, even when she doesn't feel great about them after. She leans into her sexuality, her confidence, and her ability to stand up for herself, while still unable to fully find someone to cross the final line with.
She expands her trope repertoire, befriends some unique characters, and learns what it means to be a true friend. All of this still results in her frequently crossing paths with her billionaire boss, the hot cop and hot ER doctor. We get more motives behind those characters and see how they do and don't align with Paige, as well as how these tropes are glamorous in books, but might not turn out the same way in real life.
I loved seeing Paige continue to come into her own, as well as to have moments where she lost herself. Seeing her friends grow and become content in their relationships has me looking forward to how the rest of her year looks. I genuinely cant wait to read the next (and I think final?) book in this series. Now that she's professionally found everything she wants, I hope she finally finds her happily ever after.
