After the end of her almost eight year marriage, Hannah Layton is stuck in a never-ending revolution of awful blind dates thanks to her mother’s meddling. One day, she gets a text from an unknown number who also had a bad date, and they start a friendship founded on the commiseration of their dating lives, and the need for a friend.

Morgan Fowler is a single dad to a nine-year-old and is looking for someone to share his life with–though he doesn’t seem to be having much luck. He vents about his stagnant love life with the stranger he accidentally texted, and starts thinking she might just be someone he could have a future with, even though they’ve never met.

When they decide to meet in person, Hannah’s surprised to learn her mystery friend isn’t another woman, but a man. A man who then offers to be her fake boyfriend to put an end to her mother’s incessant need to marry her off.

When things start to not feel so fake, will they take the step to actually be together? Or will their fake relationship come to an end?

What to expect: precious text exchanges. adorable meet cute. fake dating. pregnancy. golden retriever MMC. fierce FMC.

This book. Damn. I was expecting light and fluffy. You brought all the soul crushing feelings to the surface with this book. First, we get the cutest meet cute via text exchanges and then on a date in a restaurant. Second, a golden retriever MMC with a heart of gold and love for a woman he barely knows but it's super super sweet. Third, an FMC with so much heartache and trauma, it makes me proud to see her surviving and thriving.

The villains? Exquisite writing. Although I feared either or both would cause serious drama at certain points and we were going to see more pain before a HEA. I'm glad we didn't. The details on the Mormon community was excellent. The ending? So sweet.

Definitely worth giving a read if you want a sniffly nose.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review which I am leaving voluntarily.

I was lucky enough to be granted ARC reader access to this beautiful book! This was one of the most heartfelt, anger-inducing, yet relatable reads ever! I loved Hannah and Morgan’s love story! Morgan was such a respectable, loving, caring, and protective MMC and Hannah was such a strong, fiercely independent, loving, and passionate FMC. Hannah had a rough life growing up in the Mormon church with a Mother who was not supportive and then married a man who did not respect, care, or love her. Hannah had a lot of people who body shamed her about her size and up until she met Morgan, did not have anyone other than her friends and her brother to accept her as she was. The anger-inducing parts were anything to do with her non-supportive mother, her ex husband Liam, and Morgan’s ex Whitney. I loved Aly and her dynamic with everyone cool (not Whitney) especially Hannah and Morgan.

The added glossary about the Mormon church was incredibly helpful to understand parts of the book. I thoroughly enjoyed, cried, got angry, was hopeful, and felt pure love from reading Living for Truth and I wouldn’t want it any other way! If you’re torn between reading this or not, please do yourself a favor and read it! You won’t be disappointed! I’m extremely happy that Hannah was finally able to get truth even if it wasn’t what her parents and the Mormon church wanted from her. Hannah is an inspiration for all of us!

I loved this book!! Much like the first one it was ultimately about Hannah finding her home, and it was a beautiful journey. Hannah and Morgan’s accidental meet cute was perfect! And I love fake dating, especially to fool an annoying mother!! And while they were taking things slow, the tension kept things moving right along!!! They communicated so well,

Hannah and Morgan were so meant to be, and he knew it RIGHT away. And I loved how patient he was. Hannah had some serious trauma, and she needed to work through it. And while she did, he became such a safe place for her. They were able to have fun and sweet and vulnerable with each other. And it was SO great to see Hannah really flourish and grow with Morgan!

AND a shout out to Morgan’s his entire family!! They welcomed her with open arms in the SWEETEST way. They were the exact opposite of hers and it was so sweet to see her finally be able to be loved so wholly. I also loved how both Hannah and Morgan continually prioritized Aly! I love a single dad romance, and Morgan was THE BEST DAD! I loved how well Hannah fit right in and they were able to make their own little family!!

Between all the lighthearted romance and fun there was a such a good balance of really heavy things that Hannah dealt with - miscarriages, fatphobia, emotional abuse, crisis of faith. Everything was written with so well and with so much care.

I cannot wait to see what is next for this group!! I think Emma’s book is going to be so much fun!!

Thank you to Daisy Wren for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

3.5 ⭐️ Spoilers ahead

♡ Religious trauma
♡ Thicc girl rep
♡ Single dad
♡ Fake dating
♡ Insta-lust / He falls first
♡ Bi rep
♡ Toxic family dynamics
♡ Ex drama
♡ Found family
♡ Miscarriage

This was sweet and equal parts heartbreaking but the insta-lust really dampened the entirety of this book for me. I LOVED the idea of Hannah and Morgan connecting from accidentally texting the wrong number but after they meet, it felt like Morgan really has you by the throat the rest of the journey and does not let up which was endearing but also just soo cringey.

It was too love at first sight, “she’s the one” when he doesn’t even KNOW HER YET. Like SIR please calm tf down. The spice was spicy and enjoyable but it quickly became very repetitive and hard to read. Also I never would’ve imagined developing an ick for the nickname “Butterfly” *cringe*

Overall, I enjoyed the premise of this book. I enjoyed the characters together even though Morgan came across very damn intense, I loved his family and Aly. I’m especially excited to see Kendall and Sage’s story 👀

From an accidental text to fake dating and real feelings, Hannah and Morgan’s relationship develops into something so genuine and heartfelt. I loved how patient and supportive Morgan was while Hannah worked through her trauma, and his family welcoming her with open arms? Absolute perfection. 🥹

This story is about healing, finding love after loss, and building the kind of connection that truly feels like home. If you’re into fake dating, single dads, found family, with a curvy FMC, this book should definitely be on your radar!

I think some books should come with a warning: ‘Be careful, you’ll lose your RBF with this book and your heart will turn into a puddle of goo’. Indeed, my RBF and I have reputations to uphold 😆 Living For Truth by Daisy Wren is one of those books. Needless to say, I absolutely loved this book.

When we met Hannah in Loving the Sinner , I wanted to hug her and reassure her that everything was going to be all right. Living for Truth made me love her even more. There’s nothing wrong with Hannah and she’s just a lovely young woman who doesn’t deserve everything that’s happened to her. Fortunately, things turn around for her when, after a disastrous date, she accidentally receives a message from someone she doesn’t know. Sometimes mistakes make the best of things, and that’s the case with Hannah and Morgan. They’re perfect for each other.

I loved the maturity and intelligence of the characters in this book—with the exception of the antagonists. It doesn’t occur to Hannah for a moment that Morgan’s daughter, Aly, is not his one and only priority, and I loved how this was repeated throughout the story. Aly is a little girl who deserves the world, and it was nice to see Morgan, and then Hannah, willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

I also enjoy learning more about what happens to those who want to leave Mormonism. I find it extremely informative and have even more respect for those who have the courage to do so.

I look forward to reading Emma’s story in Resisting The Temptation : A Grumpy/Sunshine Workplace Romance .

I highly recommend the Broken Shelves series.

Daisy. Wren.
Goodness gracious. I don't know that anyone can write growth and healing after severe religious trauma like she can.

When we meet Hannah, she's deep in the pits of depression following her seventh miscarriage and the demise of her marriage. Meanwhile, her mother forces her to go on blind date after blind date with men she deems worthy because they served missions and have good standing with the LDS church.

Morgan is a former NFL star raising his daughter on his own after the girl's mother decides kids just aren't for her. After a terrible date, he sends an "it's not you, it's me text" to the wrong number, who just so happens to be Hannah.

These two forge a friendship via text, getting to know one another before they decide to meet. While Morgan falls fast and hard, Hannah is still traumatized from her recent past. Still, Morgan vows to be there for her any way she'll let him as long as he can be in her life.

This single-parent romance was so well done! The way Morgan advocates for his daughter and allows her the time and space to feel her feelings is perfection in contrast with the verbal and psychological abuses committed against Hannah by her own mother. I LOVED the way Morgan loved both of his girls.

Daisy Wren also depicts deconstruction and healing so beautifully. Leaving an institution that purports benevolence while harming its members is incredibly difficult. The women in this Broken Shelves series are all in various phases of leaving the Church and Wren writes this so eloquently. Their experiences are so tangible. We get to see Ellie and Wes from book one and are offered a glimpse into future character stories as well. I just can't recommend this series enough. I especially love that while a romantic HEA is possible in these stories, other relationships are not magically fixed. Sometimes an HEA comes in the form of boundaries between the protagonists and their toxic family members...and that's okay.

Daisy Wren does it again! What a sweet story! The perfect addition to the Broken Shelves universe!

Hannah is at a low point in her life, and although she is not to blame, her religion, her now ex-husband, and her mother sing a different story.

If she had been more faithful...
If she had been good enough...

Through a case of mistaken identity, she meets Morgan Fowler, a single dad and ex-NFL star-turned-florist. And within moments of them meeting, sparks fly. But before they even become official, Morgan helps Hannah see herself in a new light. He treats her the way she deserves to be treated, and helps her love herself--curves and all!

Together, they navigate through their whirlwind relationship--and surprise pregnancy!--with so much love and admiration of each other. It makes your teeth rot! The best part: they both learn to put up boundaries so that they can live in their truth! And it's awesome!

Mason is perfect. Almost too perfect. LOL He was absolutely smitten with his "butterfly" from the moment he saw her. So positive, so loving, he doted on Hannah every chance he got. Aaaaaaand he's an incredible father. I loved that we were able to see him develop a healthy partner relationship while keeping his responsibilities as a father as a priority.

I am so looking forward to the next few books! I believe Emma might be next (I could be wrong), but I SWEAR TO ALL THAT IS HOLY I NEED SAGE AND KENDALL... please? LOL

Small note: There are very heavy subject matters discussed in this book, including infertility and pregnancy loss, and religious abuse and trauma. The overall feeling of the book was positive and fluffy, and it gave me the biggest heart eyes. But just keep in mind that those subjects are in this book, but I believe the author does a beautiful job discussing them.

Living for Truth ,the second book in Daisy Wren’s Broken Shelves series, is a heartfelt and empowering romance that beautifully balances love, healing, and personal growth.

The story follows Hannah, who, after a difficult divorce and a lifetime of emotional struggles, finds an unexpected connection with Morgan, a devoted single dad and former NFL player turned flower shop owner. Their relationship begins with an adorable mistaken-text meet-cute and evolves into a tender romance, featuring some of my fave tropes like “he falls first” and “fake dating.” 😫🥵🥰 Morgan’s patience, support, and unwavering love help Hannah confront past trauma, including fatphobia, emotional abuse, and religious struggles.

Hannah’s journey of self-acceptance is both inspiring and relatable. Morgan’s warm and loving family provides a beautiful contrast to Hannah’s harsh upbringing, offering her a sense of belonging and unconditional love.

The romance is sweet, slow-burning, and full of memorable moments, like Morgan’s swoon-worthy bookstore confession. While the repeated emphasis on Hannah’s size may feel overdone to some, the representation and body positivity are refreshing and meaningful. Coming from a big girl I felt seen, could relate, and felt a boost of confidence too!

Oh and Daisy sure knows how to write characters I could either love or HATE (I’m lookin at you Hannah’s mom 😡) lol

Overall, Living for Truth is a moving and uplifting story about love, resilience, and found family. Fans of single-dad romances and slow-burn love stories won’t want to miss this one!

I’ve never read anything with religion being such a main contributing factor, but I honestly really enjoyed this book and am happy I got to be an arc reader. I’m not religious myself, but that didn’t deter me from reading this; as much as it was a heartbreaking yet heartwarming story, I found the religious part actually quite fascinating. I never really hear many good things about Mormonism, I’ve only really heard about it when someone is saying they had a traumatic experience with it and have left that lifestyle/religion, I don’t doubt that some people are happy with that lifestyle and religion, and this isn’t me bashing that religion at all cause I know nothing, however the glossary of terms was so helpful!!

Even though this story deals with religious trauma and it is so prevalent, the book didn’t feel heavy, if that makes sense. The author did a really good job balancing all the aspects. So in this book we have Hannah, our FMC, who goes through a lot; she was one of those characters where you wish you could just give them a hug and say you aren’t alone. Then we have Morgan, our MMC, he is a single father to a 9 year old daughter (who will melt your heart, she is adorable), a former NFL player who now owns a flower shop. He wants to find the person to spend his life alongside.

This story is a romance, but it is also the story of finding yourself after trauma, understanding yourself, about navigating difficult situations, Hannah finds her home, a family that she deserves. She deals with not only religious trauma as I already mentioned, but also a lot of body shaming. She is a relatable character, even if you haven't gone through the exact same things, those emotions are ones you’ll recognise. Morgan is just the most caring, gentle, warm and loving guy, and his family is the exact same. He becomes a safe place for her, immediately falling in love.

It is one of those books that's slow until it's not, the beginning is all about the fake relationship, fooling Hannah’s mother due to her incessant need to marry Hannah off again. I don’t like the mother, or the ex. Their meet-cute was everything; such a fun way for them to meet.

Now I need to talk about Aly, Morgan’s daughter, that poor little girl, she is so sweet and loving but intelligent, and her circumstances with her mother infuriated me. Aly will melt your heart, and her relationship with her dad is so wholesome, it’s one of my fav parts of this book.

-----------------------
Quotes I love!

“Hannah, I swear to Satan I’m going to smack you upside the head. He. Likes. You. That man is head-over-heels, weak-in-the-knees. He came to a family dinner with your serpent of a mom and didn’t run for the hills! When are you going to admit you have feelings for him, too?”

But first, you need to tell Morgan how you feel. That man looks at you like a sad puppy and like he wants to pour you into a glass and sip you slowly so he can savor the taste.”

“Perfect. Have fun, Butterfly.” He gives me a squeeze on the arm as he walks back to the counter. Butterfly? Emma mouths with a quirked eyebrow.

“The serial monogamists of the world are weeping at the lost opportunity to lock down Emma Price.”
“Well maybe if I found a sexy rockstar who followed me like an adorable lost puppy, or an ex-football player who looked at me like I hung the fucking moon it would be different”

“Highly doubt it, Flower Daddy. But I appreciate your enthusiasm.”

“That would be Bean. Resident black cat asshole.”

When I try to wiggle away, a firm arm bands around my belly and pulls me back.
“Don’t you dare. I’m enjoying the cuddles,” Morgan’s deep voice commands, raising goosebumps on my skin despite his body heat.
“Good morning to you to, too,” I tease, earning me a quick squeeze

“Hmmm. But I like seeing you in my clothes.”

Living for Truth was so utterly wholesome and feel-good that I couldn’t give it anything less than five stars.

Despite having several different heavy topics winding through it, the story was warm and delightful to read. It was insta-love at its finest but there wasn’t one moment of cringe.

I loved how obsessed Morgan and Hannah were with each other from the get go. From that accidental text to the encounter at the flower shop and then their “first” time meeting each other, it was clear they had a beautiful collection. Morgan was the perfect man for Hannah, constantly building her up and showering her with encouragement and love.

I’m a big fan of single dad romances and I especially loved Morgan and Aly. I loved that Hannah fit into their little family and seemed like a great mum for Aly. The Fowler family also deserve some praise for being so welcoming and inclusive. I can only hope I find a found family like that one day.

Overall this was a lighthearted romance but I personally felt like the heavy subject matter e.g. fatphobia, miscarriages, emotional abuse and a crisis of faith, etc. was handled really well. Daisy Wren has already given us insight into the Mormon faith in LTS and it was fascinating to continue that Own Voices POV.

I absolutely cannot wait to see what’s next for this crew. I assume Emma is up next but I’m super intrigued about another set of people mentioned at the end of this book. I’m looking forward to it all!

First things first if you have not read the first book in this series I highly suggest doing so!!! They are interconnected standalone’s but the overall plot and story are even better if you read them in order. That being said….this book is sooo good. It starts off with the plus size FMC Hannah who is recently divorced after a toxic marriage filled with 7 miscarriages. She is also going through the process of leaving the religion she was raised up in. She gets a text from a stranger and they continue to talk. That stranger is Morgan who is a single dad also in a transitional period of his life. The chemistry not only with the main characters but the minor ones like Morgan’s daughter really make this story. I also have to give a special shoutout to how well Daisy Wren writes about having a difficult relationship or no relationship at all with your mother. Many times I sat in awe at how well she put many of the thoughts I’ve had surrounding that issue into words. As always, listed below are some of my favorite details, tropes and character characteristics.

-age gap
-religious trauma/ deconstructing religious upbringing
-plus size FMC
-interconnected standalone
-bi-rep
-blended family/ adoption rep
-found family
-fertility issues
-discrimination in the medical field as a plus size woman

Book two in Daisy Wren’s Broken Shelves series brings us Hannah and Morgan.

This book is a good continuation of the Breaking Shelves series. Daisy is once again successful in portraying healing from religious trauma in a kind and compassionate manner. Her characters are never portrayed as victims. Rather, she focuses on their healing journey and allows them to set boundaries and stick to them.

Hannah and Morgan are both wonderfully developed characters, and their meet-cute is fantastic! Hannah has every reason to swear off men and dating forever, but allows herself to be open to the possibility when she realizes what a good guy Morgan actually is. Morgan is the best single dad. I love that he’s a former NFL player turned flower shop owner. That dichotomy is great and unexpected.

Daisy is also really, really good at creating villains we love to hate. I’d like to give a one finger salute to Liam, Whitney, and Shelly.

This series is all about overcoming trauma, healing, and found family. If you enjoy slow burns, age gaps, he falls first, fake dating, and single dad tropes, you’ll enjoy this book.

This is a sweet, feel-good romance with a focus on a healthy, supportive relationship. I really appreciated how the author tackled important topics like ex-Mormonism and miscarriages. While these issues don’t personally resonate with me, I can imagine how healing and relatable they might be for others who’ve gone through similar experiences. I also loved the body positivity and having a plus-size FMC—it’s refreshing to see that kind of representation in romance.

That said, I did feel like the focus on her size was a bit much. It came up nearly every time she was described, and with the cousins and the MMC’s sisters also being described as plus-size, it felt repetitive. There are better, more subtle ways to portray someone’s appearance without making it their defining feature.

The spice was enjoyable at first, but it started to feel repetitive, almost like the same scene was copy-pasted a few times, which took away from the excitement. And while the romance was heartwarming, I like my romances to have a bit more plot to keep things interesting, and this one didn’t have much going on outside the relationship.

I loved this just as much as book 1 if not a little more. There was something about Hannah and Morgan I loved a smidge bit more. I like how this book is in the same world as book 1 but was separate to where you didn’t have to have read the first. Perfect stand alone romance.

Now…I thought Wes was the ideal book boyfriend, but Morgan knocks that boy right out of the way. Devoted single father that is completely feral and in love with his “fake” girlfriend. But keeps boundaries and moves at the pace that she wants so that he doesn’t scare her? Holy fucking hell. Get me a Morgan Fowler please - the scene in the bookstore had me swooning and jealous.

Hannah as a character is so easy to relate to. I love how she works to becoming this strong person that able to come out on the other end of trauma. It’s really admirable. I love the relationship she builds with Aly and how she was able to naturally join into the family.

This story is beautifully written. You get your happy, you’re sad. You fall in love with these character so easily. I couldn’t finish this book fast enough. I read through 60% on my day off and just wanted to get back to it as soon as I could!!

Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Hannah has moved home after a failed divorce and truly feels at rock bottom. Then after a failed first date and Hannah gets a mistaken text from Morgan. He is texting to let his date down but accidentally gets Hannah. Hannah thinks it’s a girl letting down her date so when Morgan asks to be friends they start chatting.

They have a lot in common and start to enjoy getting to know each other. When they meet and Hannah realizes her mistake they still decide to be friends. Morgan wants more but is willing to wait for Hannah to heal and be ready for him. When the opportunity comes up to become Hannah’s fake boyfriend Maegan jumps at the chance. Soon they realize the fake is blurring into reality. But their is so much trauma and chai will they be able to find and keep their relationship when it becomes real. Or will the burden of the chaos becomes to much

This was a great story! I love seeing Hannah get her happy ending. And Morgan is big green flag energy!! And kudos to the curvy girl rep in all shapes and sizes.

⭐️: 4/5

Hannah is looking for a change after her divorce from her emotionally abusing husband. Her mother’s interference, it seems increasing unlikely that the change will happen. After a text from a wrong number things seem to take a turn for the better, but little does Hannah know her relationship with that person maybe a whole lot more important than she would have ever believed.

🌼 Age-Gap
🌼 Fake Dating
🌼 Single Dad
🌼 Slow Burn
🌼 Mistaken Identity
🌼 No Third Act Breakup
🌼 Accidental Pregnancy

I was honestly not expecting this story to pull me in the way it did. I loved the growth of the characters both individually and together. Hannah’s life was extremely difficult and her ex husband was so awful I wanted to toss my kindle across the room. I disliked so many people in this book, but books are supposed to make you feel… right!? 😅 I love babies and accidental pregnancy, I know it’s not everyone’s thing, but this has both 😍. I am sucker for FMCs with a traumatic past where the MMCs helps in the healing process…Morgan is exactly that. Morgan was the perfect person for Hannah to end up with, a total 180 from her ex husband. I can not wait for more of these books!

This is a solid four ⭐️ read! It has three of my favorite romantic tropes - plus size, fake dating and accidental pregnancy. The fact that Hannah is a member of the Mormon church adds another layer to the story.

Hannah is 26 and divorced. She married at 18 and had 7 miscarriages. Her husband initiated the divorce after she kept losing babies. As a member of the Mormon church, she’s told the miscarriages are all her fault. Also Liam, the ex was a lousy husband so Hannah has a lot of trauma and guilt.

Since Hannah’s Mom is a devout Mormon, she keeps setting up blind dates for Hannah. At the end of one she gets a “it’s not you, it’s me” text from Morgan. Who erroneously texted her. This starts a friendship between the two commiserating about bad dates.

They finally decide to meet IRL, and Hannah is shocked to find Morgan is a man. Their story begins here. It’s a wonderful, romantic, slow burn, single dad, age gap yet sexy tale. Morgan and Hannah get a HEA and we also get the lead into the next book. This was the second book in a four book series. Definitely reading the rest of the series.

Who wants a bisexual, single dad, who takes his woman to get fondue?! If the answer is you, then Hannah and Morgan’s story is for you!

🌼Single dad
🌼Fake dating
🌼Age gap
🌼Religious trauma
🌼Plus size FMC
🌼Bisexual MMC
🌼Wrong person via text

Hannah is newly divorced and feeling the pressures of the Mormon church to move on and find someone new. Her family is pressuring her, and Hannah will do just about anything to break away.

In comes Morgan, who she met when he texted the wrong person. She assumed she was talking to another woman who she wanted to befriend, but when she shows up and finds out that Morgan is a man, things change for the better. He offers to be her fake boyfriend, even though feelings are already very real for him.

These two are so perfect together and definitely soulmate level material. I loved the relationship between Morgan and his daughter Alyssa, and eventually Hannah’s relationship with Alyssa.

This book was very low angst and so, so special.

Single dads who love their little girls more than anything (I.e. Morgan) hooks me from the get go. A strong, rebellious plus-sized relatable main female character (ahem, Hannah) in the midst of self discovery has me obsessed. Adorable blind texts and an equally enduring meet-cute that leads to an emotionally intimate romance with appropriate spicy scenes get me every time. Include well written villains that give all the shade, solid side characters to lean on and you’ve got me all in. Extra points for dual PoV, a little unexpected plot twist, and a new-to-me author whose backlist I look forward to reading as much as future books. It appreciate the range of emotions while reading this wonder of a book.Thank you to the author for the ARC. 4.25 stars

I LOVED LIVING FOR TRUTH. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hannah’s story of growing up in the Mormon Church, getting divorced and dealing with the fallout and stigma from that while navigating dating again had so many elements I could relate to.

And Morgan!!! A space-holding, hot, single dad, who knows how to use his mouth? 🫠🫠🫠

Their meet cute to love story was so good. It was raw and real. There were so many moments where I was like “Yes, this has happened to me.” I thoroughly related to the boundary setting and the realistic family dynamics, as well as all the niche Mormon references.

Overall, four stars. I sincerely feel like this book helped me on my healing journey as an exmo. Daisy, thank you so much for writing Hannah and Morgan’s story and for the ARC!

There may be small little spoilers in this book.

One thing I really loved about this book was the texts in this book! I don't know what it is, but I always really enjoy that in a book. And there was a lot of it in this book.

I really enjoyed reading about Hannah and Morgan there love story and how they made sure it was ok with Morgan his daughter. It was fun to have a little bit of an older child in a book. Normally they are still young. Also the pregnancy in this book made my hormones do things lol .

This is book two in a series. But i haven't read the first one. And I must say I don't feel like I missed a thing. So you could definitely read this as a standalone. Also it's really east to get into and reads reaoly smooth. Perfect romance book for between some darker ones!

Read this book as an ARC 💓

The love and healing just seeps through the pages. This is my first book by Daisy Wren, but it definitely won't be my last. This book is filled with trauma from religion to parental relations to infertility issues, and the healing aspect is what got me the most. The healing is not done because of new relationships but with it. The relationship just gives an extra steady support to go through this healing, which is greatly appreciated. A lot of difficult subjects are dealt with beautifully. It's just a heartwarming book. I highly suggest 💜💜

This was such a wholesome, warm and fuzzy feeling book. I was already curious about Hannah’s story from the small bits we learned about her in Loving the Sinner. My heart went out to her knowing all that she went through growing up and during her marriage (there are some HEAVY topics in this book so be WARNED)
Morgan and Hannah’s meet cute was adorable and hilarious. I loved that Morgan fell for Hannah first and how hard he fell. He was such a loving support to Hannah. It made my heart so happy. Definitely a new favorite book couple. I don’t like to give too much away but you guys, go read this book.

Couldn't put it down!

This book was something I wasn't prepared for. Daisy thank you for writing such a great story. This book had me laughing, crying, getting angry at exes.

Morgan gives the best golden retriever energy with a dirty talking mouth. The way he cares for Hannah was just so good to read. He took his time with her. Made sure she felt safe.

I now have to go read all Daisy's backlog.
