A collection of 31 short stories, some great some “ok”. The mood is light but not too light, and its written sardonically with relentless twists. Some stories playfully satirize diplomatic and/or social behavior, while others are set up similar to a Rakugo performance - an interesting story that hits you with an ochi at the end. Here be the ones I recommend:
