Kind of a mild hodpodge of writing that also needs editing. Time sequences seem to be inserted after someone told the author it is too short. Several bounces back and forth for no reason. I find that lazy writing even when they have some meaning, but in this book, there is no reason to not have them in time order, so seems just to increase book length.
I thought it was a different story, so was interested in where it was going. I did skim over the thrown in parts, pretty close to zero interest in dinners eaten or whatever that had nothing to do with the main thread. And with how it ended, could have been just a dream. No real edges to it. I would give it a 2, but Amazon changed their reviews and in their world it rates a 3.
There is no strong point to make me recommend this book, disappointed.

Fantastic read. My only criticism is that the editing was a little sloppy. But in no way did that distract from the story. Touching and beautifully written.
