This is such a well thought out, step-by-step explanation of introducing solids to babies. As both a new mom with a baby soon ready for solids and a family medicine NP, I found it incredibly informative and practical. I appreciated how simple and approachable the book made the process of starting solids while still covering all the essentials—safety, readiness, developmental stages, and the introduction of allergenic foods.

It’s written in a way that feels both evidence-based and easy to follow, which is rare and so valuable. I highlighted throughout and know this will be a book I return to often—for myself, my patients, and my mom friends. Highly recommend to any parent or healthcare provider looking for clear, trustworthy guidance on feeding babies!
