Meet Mirabelle Starspell. Her mum is a witch, her dad is a fairy and she is a bit of both. She likes casting spells with her fairy wand and flying around on her witchy broomstick, but most of all the thing she really, really likes to do is cause mischief.
When Mirabelle and her family are invited to spend some time at a dragon sanctuary, Mirabelle cannot wait to get stuck in and show off everything she knows. But she's about to find out that she's not quite the dragon expert she believes herself to be . . .
A beautiful hardback edition with silver sprayed edges, and lots of fun activities to do at the back-the perfect gift for the Harriet Muncaster fan in your life.
Harriet Muncaster studied illustration at Norwich University College of the Arts before going on to get an MA in children’s book illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. In creating the art for her first book for children, she was thrilled to have found a good outlet for her lifelong fascination with miniatures. She lives in Hertfordshire, England.
I liked it however it was very short and the ending just says and it smiled smiled smiled it kind of left me on a cliffhanger even know it was at the end

Pride comes before a fall, you may think you know everything but often there are those who know more as long as you are willing to ask for help. Bring in baby dragons, wizard magic, determination to show that you know it all... well we all know what happens next... chaos. A fun read great artwork as always and lots of dragons. What is not to love?
This series of short novels for early readers from Isadora Moon author Harriet Muncaster are such good fun magical reads. They are beautifully produced with silver edged pages and the illustrations are charming. This particular story is all about dragons so I was already sold before I started reading. Great activity suggestions at the back of the book too.
