Will it be enough?

I won this Book on Goodreads. The Author lives in Tawa, so not far from where we live and the book is set in the Wellington area. Which was nice because I knew the areas he was talking about. It's good to read books by local Authors.

This story has 3 groups of people:

The Mathews, who have owned the farm land and surrounding bush for generations. As long as their was a male heir the bush could stay in the family. David Mathews dies in a quad bike accident on the farm leaving his wife and 4 girls.

Jackson-Halberd(NZ)Ltd
Win the bid for Mathews Bush but they can't log until they get resource consent, they also want the farm. John Baron is responsible for the purchase. His personal life is messy, his wife has had a breakdown and he has an affair.

SOFA - Save our Forest Association
A group of Bush loving people out to save the Forest from the logging companies. They try to do all they can to save Mathews Bush even staying on the farm to collect data. However things start to go wrong, gates left opened and so on and they get the blame so are soon sent packing.

Once I got into the story I enjoyed it, however it did leave some unanswered questions and some of the characters did some bad things and weren't held accountable. So not my favourite book of the year, but still interesting.
