3/5 stars - Didn’t like this one as much but still enjoy the way the series is progressing. Jeanie is slightly whiny about her station in life which is a little annoying but I know it was par for the course during this timeframe. Interested to see where she and Bill’s “friendship” goes.

This book followed Jeanie, a brilliant young NASA engineer, as she struggled to balance ambition, expectations, and complicated feelings for a married astronaut during the height of the space race. The historical setting and themes of women pushing against limitations were compelling, though Jeanie’s constant frustration about her place in life felt slightly whiny at times. Still, it was an engaging continuation of the series, engaged readers enough to spout curiosity on where her “friendship” with Bill would lead!

I am enjoying this series but on page 172 the men are talking about the Super Bowl and in the next few paragraphs talking about how it’s been a year since JFK was assasinated. That would make it 1964. However the first Super Bowl was in 1966. 😬

Great book

Very good story in the continuing series that is mainly about Bill and Jo Booker. Though now Jeanie Florence is inserting herself into the Booker's marriage.

I love this series about NASA in the 1960s. This is the 3rd book in the series and just as good as the first two. Can’t wait to get started on the 4th book!
