My first ever comic book and a good one at that. This book was what I needed, being in a reading slump from I don't remember how long. It was such a fun book. Thanks to my Institute Library, i got a chance to pick it up. On the lookout for similar ones 🙈

This is a super cute children's mermaid graphic novel without a single word used - the story is told in pictures. We have a klutzy mermaid school girl with a crush on a merboy who humiliates her. She goes to the surface, finds a copy of vogue and dresses as one of the women in it, gets a date with her crush only to discover that perhaps he's not the boy of her dreams after all.
Considering this is done entirely without speech, its very cleverly done. A lovely addition to any mermaid collection.
