In this volume, a stranger comes into town offering the Robertsons the chance of a lifetime―to take a ride in a real spaceship and travel into space. Of course, none of the Robertson crew listens to this crazy person except Si, who pays to be a traveler. When John Luke hears about the opportunity, he decides to tag along for the ride. Soon they’re traveling in space, but the captain of the ship goes unconscious. Can they make it back to earth alive?
When my boys were younger, they are 19 and 15 now; they enjoyed a particular type style of book where they were able to interact with the book by choosing how the story progressed. At the end of each chapter the book gives you a couple of different options that the reader can pick from allowing them to actively participate in the story. My boys loved those types of books! We spent hours reading the same book but with different decisions. So you can imagine my excitement when I found another set of books written in the same style and from our own Louisiana Royalty – the Duck Commanders!
