Under the shadow of an ominous, double solar eclipse, Earth as we know it is changing forever... In a horrific world, where natural disasters are commonplace and food is as scarce as the hopes and dreams of the few who have survived, John Mitchell must find the courage, and the strength, to overcome his personal demons, and possibly the Devil himself. Circumventing radical religious extremists who believe it to be Armageddon while battling Braedon, the clock, and his own broken heart, John must find a way to complete the seemingly impossible task of saving the woman he loves, Earth, and the billions of tortured souls locked deep within it. From the Amazon best-selling author of ORIGINS. The Crossing, Part II of the new, thought provoking series, takes us on a journey even deeper into the controversial, yet compelling, world of what we think we know to be true.
S. E. Meyer crafts speculative thrillers that pair high concept, cinematic pacing with intimate emotion. From augmented realities to hidden conspiracies, Meyer’s work examines beauty, power, love and the human condition through creatively unique premises that grip from the first page to the last.
Self employed, author, researcher, Meyer lives in Wisconsin with his wife of more than 30 years. Meyer loves the outdoors and tries to spend as much time there as possible.
S.E. Meyer continues his Origins series with The Crossing. Beginning where Origins left off, The Crossing is a fast paced action thriller incorporating ancient astronaut theory, Zecharia Sitchin's theories on the Sumerian Anunnaki, and the return of Nibiru. There's even a discussion of the origins of Christianity and its relation to the Egyptian god Horus. The Crossing is much better edited than the first book. Hopefully, Meyer's publisher will review Origins and fix the many typos and errors. All in all, The Crossing continues the action/adventure Meyers sets up in his first book. If you liked Origins, you'll love The Crossing.
ok, I'll be honest I didn't remember that I had read this until I went to Amazon and looked. I read so many books thought that only a few of the best stand out. I do remember the story though and it's odd I didn't leave a review unless at the end of it didnt have the review link, so that may be why. I remember the story though but not the ending..lol I do remember it was a good book just wish I could remember what happened at the very end. I don't re-read books except in rare circumstances so I'll give it 3 stars since I don't remember the ending. I do remember it was well written and I lived the 1st book.
Read this book! You'll be glad you did. What am amazing and captivating story. Mr. Meyer does it again in the second book to this series. What a fantastic story that really makes the reader think. I couldn't put it down! One of the best series I have read in a very long time. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
I really enjoyed reading the Origins series. The Crossing was very action packed and emotional. S.E. Meyer is an excellent writer and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
