Mason is not imaginary. He’s not a ghost, either. And he’s most definitely not a hallucination. Mason is an Aerling, and the Sentinels’ number one target.
Inseparable since Olivia found Mason crying in her front yard as a child, being apart from each other is unbearable. Knowing the separation is necessary to keep Mason safe and alive should make it easier for Olivia, but being stripped of her best friend and the person she loves most only heightens her fear and suspicions of those claiming to help.
The pain of being kept apart until Mason’s eighteenth birthday, when Olivia is expected to guide him back to the world of the Aerlings, is the least of their worries, though. As the Sentinels intensify their search for Mason, they bring the threat of danger to a level no one is prepared to face.

Her fascination with reading led to many hours spent in the library and bookstores, and eventually to writing. She wrote her first novel when she was sixteen years old, but spent ten years rewriting it before having it published.
Native to New Mexico, DelSheree and her family spent several years in Colorado for college and work before moving back home to be near family. When not writing novels, you can find DelSheree reading, painting, sewing, and working with other authors.
DelSheree has several bestselling young adult series and has hit the USA Today Bestseller list twice as part of box sets. DelSheree also has contemporary romance, cozy mystery, and paranormal new adult series. Her writing is as varied as her reading interests.
GOOD NEWS: DelSheree Gladden has posted the completed story on Wattpad, so you can head over to wattpad to read it. For those of you who don't know what is a wattpad, it's an app for indie authors to post their stories there where webtizens like us can access these stories. I have been on that app forEVA and have found a few precious gems of my own. :) So don't be surprised at the alarming amount of good stories you can find on there.
BAD NEWS: She will be removing it from WATTPAD at the end of FEB. So those who are interested to read this series now, please do so before the end of feb. BUT BUT BUT ----- fret not, she is removing it because.....*fangirlscreams* she's getting ready for it to be published!!!! WOOHOO!!! The first book of this series Invisible, is already published and you can grab a copy from amazon. :) I am so psyched for the third book in this series! The author is working on the third book now. I haven't managed to grab a copy of Invisibility yet though. :(
I am proud to say I am an avid reader of "The Aerling" series. :))) I have been waiting for the last two chapters of the book till today and I just received the update that the author has updated and completed the story. So what did I do? OBVIOUSLY...I tapped on the notification and immediately started reading the final two chapters. :'( I can't believe this book is over. Felt like a second since I started on the first page. I am so in love with this story.
If you haven't read the first book of this story I suggest you do not read my spoiler review because I am ranting about both the first and the second book in this series.
THIS BOOK IS SO EXCITING I'M GOING TO DIE HAHAHAHA !!! ~~~~
* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. * Intangible is the second installment in Aerling series, Invisible being the first. The plot starts after where the first book ended. The story line just sucked me in. Many things about Aerlings got revealed, many questions from first book got answered. The book is a whorl wind of emotions. I felt every emotion of characters. The love between Mason and Olivia and their love for their family and friends. The intent of going to extreme for the safety of each other. The emotions were so raw that I could not escape it. Then the thrill, the danger, scared of the unknown whether they could make to Aerling world intact or they will fail. The question about who to trust. The twists and turn, when some questions got answered, that raise a whole new set of others. *There are spoilers ahead!* Mason and Olivia are the best. Evie is just awesome, her being outspoken just adds humor to the story. Adding the lie detector and the master thief Molly to the story is just adorable and because of her it showed other side of Mason of being protective older brother, and he found a piece of his real family. Then Hayden no one would have thought of him being an Escort and him helping Olivia and his feelings for her and his selflessness made him a hero. I knew there was something fishy about Robin but I would have never thought of her as a traitor, and in the end change the opinions about Montogmery family. Despite the the danger of Sentinels and their attacks, Mason's learning the abilities in order to return to his world in little time and Olivia to learn her abilities of Escort which seemed impossible but they overcame it by entering the Aerling world but that is another start of their journey to save both worlds. It is just start of their adventure. The book is just great. I don't have words for it, I am speechless. When I completed the book I just sat there and stared at the monitor for almost fifteen minutes trying to control the thrill and emotions of the story. Great story!!! Loved it.
Intangible is a marvelously breathtaking and deeply touching story that will take your imagination and heart on the ride of a lifetime. This story beautifully showcases the wonderfully unconditional and intensely powerful love that is shared within family and sometimes outside of family. If you find yourself showered with gentle understanding and overwhelming love, then you should know that what you have is extraordinarily profound and should always be cherished. While we each have to walk the road set before us, it transforms a life to know that they have people around them who genuinely care about them and want to help them in any way that they can. What immense power we have over each other and we never truly understand it and use it wisely! Your words and actions are equivalent to earth-shattering quakes and world-altering tornadoes. I hope that you choose to uplift rather than tear each other down.
Olivia finds that life without Mason is not one that she was prepared to deal with. Having her precious friend by her side for the past 12 years has not prepared her for the deep black void that has replaced him. No matter what she tries, she can’t stop herself from slipping into it. Only one person can help her crawl back out, but she is reluctant to allow him to help her. She can’t handle any more changes in her life, and she is fighting for all she is worth in order to prepare for the challenges that are coming in the days ahead. Love and patience finally wins out, and Olivia finds that with it she can accomplish the impossible no matter what obstacles are in her way. Will Olivia hold tight to the encouragement and hope that she finds in her family and Hayden, or will her doubt and fear steal any hope for her future?
Olivia and Mason are tested to the very end of the strength being separated at such a crucial time. They aren’t ready for the effect it will have on them, but they are determined to do what is best for Mason. His future is more important than having the benefit of seeing him every day. With a heavy heart, they both are determined to do what they can uncover the mystery and truth that surrounds him and his legacy. What they find will test the strength of their love and friendship, but Olivia knows that she will give everything she is to see Mason safe and sound.
DelSheree has crafted a mind-blowing series that she has only deepened and matured throughout this book. What you think you know, you will find to be only barely skimming the surface. Danger, intrigue, and wild twists and turns will keep you racing through the pages to learn what happens next. Don’t take anything for granted, always watch your back, don’t let your hope fade, and never allow your heart to turn cold. This is a brilliant series that I can’t get enough of! Don’t miss out on this wonderful masterpiece!
Simply awesome book, didn't expect it to be with that much twists and turns, in a good way. Kept me on my toes all time from start to finish. Great and uber- awe-WaitForIt-some, awesome, book and the story! :)
I think it’s obvious how much I liked Invisible and Intangible was even more complicated, more intense and more interesting, I absolutely loved it. It was a real rollercoaster of feelings!
Mason is definitely my favourite character and I love him so much. I probably loved him even more in this book, if that was possible. Mason and Olivia are one of my OTPs and they are really cute together. I like Olivia a lot too and I liked her even more at the end of this book when she realized how to fulfill her job as an Escort. Another character who I really liked is Molly, new character who SPOILER ALERT! turned out to be Mason’s younger sister. How awesome is that? She was so cute, how can anyone not like her? Her relationship with Mason was really beautiful, I liked how she looked up to him and never wanted to separate from him. Adorable. I hated the part when they were saying goodbye to eachother. Feels. Okay, next character. I knew they shouldn’t trust Robin! I didn’t like her in Invisible and now I can freely say I hate her. That bitch! She was so annoying but at least she got what she deserves. In the first half of the book Hayden was really annoying and I just wanted to slap him and tell him to stay away from Olivia because he has no chances with her. She has Mason. SPOILER ALERT! But then, when they saved Mason he started to change and by the end of the book I actually started to like him. I still think he is too perfect and I did not like him too much, but he is okay, I guess. It was so shocking when we found out SPOILER ALERT! he is an Escort too. I mean, I knew he was hiding something but I thought he was Sentinel or something. I have to admit, I like the way it turned out much better. Parkers were awesome and they totally changed my perspective of Caretakers. So there are normal Caretakers out there after all!
As I said, but I have to repeat, DelSheree Gladden is really fantastic writet, plot twists are really unpredictable and I can never know what to expect. Her sentences are magical and powerful, especially when she describes Mason using his power. I enjoyed reading Intangible from first to last page, I laughed and cryed while reading and all that proves how good book this is. The end totally shocked me. SPOILER ALERT! When it seemed that Olivia is not going with Mason to the Aerling World and that they will say goodbye to eachother forever, it hurted much more than I thought it will. I had only one chapter left until the end of a book and I could only hope that things will change because I couldn’t handle that many feels. That hope made me to read the last chapter and I’m so glad because of that. I was so overwhelmed when they both passed to Aerling World but it didn’t last for long because our dear writer had to put another plot twist there. Of course! So Robin ruined everything when she passed to Aerling World with them and she damaged the Bridge between two worlds so now Sentinels can pass to the Aerling World too and kill all the Aerlings. Of course, Mason is the only one who can stop that from happening because he is the most powerful Aerling and only he can find the Mother in human world and ask her to fix the Bridge. I’m really glad that Mason and Olivia are going back to the human world because I realized that I am not ready to say goodbye to all the other characters in this book. I can’t wait to start reading third book in the series, Invincible, which is aviliable on Wattpad.
I highly recommend these books, they are definitely one of my favourites!
I loved the first book, so it was natural to get the next in the series. This one slowed down for me, compared to all of the action in the first book. But there were enough plot twists to keep my interest.
Ever since I read Invisible, I fell in love with the characters. Evie, the younger, opinionated sister who actually has a personality instead of being a plot-driving, cardboard character; Hayden, the kind-hearted, warm boy whose generosity and love knows no bounds; Mason and Olivia, who simply cannot be described in words.
The plot was magnetic too, it drew me in, refused to let go, and I was immediately living in a world of Aerlings, Caretakers, and Sentinels. I was hooked.
To be honest, I didn't think it was possible to top Invisible. Perhaps, meet its level, or be slightly below it; after all, the first books are usually the best, before sequels start drawing out its plot to prolong the conclusion. However, Intangible shot past it and then some. It was thrilling, it was emotional, it was heart-warming. I sat at the very edge of my chair, my heart racing as I tried to flip through as many pages as I could in a day.
It was totes cray cray
I can honestly say I have never felt closer to the characters; Intangible forges a deeper relationship between readers and characters. You start to understand them, their past, their possible futures. You understand their personality, their actions.
I can't say much without giving away; strike that, I don't think I can say much at all because Intangible has left me breathless and speechless. No words can describe the effect it has on me. I finished the book, and was just sitting there, and going "WOW".
If you haven't read Invisible or Intangible yet, please don't read the next line! (Actually, just stop reading this and go read the book!
I can't wait to start on the third book, and I hope one day I'll be allowed to write fanfiction on it!
Liked this book so much better than Invisible, which was the first in this series. This book focused much more on the plot, meaning we learn more about this world that the author is trying to create of Aerlings, Sentinels, Caretaker, and Escorts.
I really enjoyed the new characters that were introduced, as well as learning more about Mason's history. We also learned in Book 1 that Mason has 3 names, and we learn his second name in Book 2. I guess we'll learn name #3 in Book 3. The turns that some of the characters take is a little strange mainly due to its suddeness. There's no real buildup to the fact that a character will turn out one way or another. That being said, I still really enjoyed this book.
This book ends on a major cliffhanger and I have no idea when the next one will be published, or if the author is even currently working on the next one. Hopefully, it will be soon.
Also, again, an editor would help because there are typos aplenty in this book. That being said, the typos didn't bother me as much as some do. I think this may be due to the simplicity of the writing. The sentences are short and to the point so the typos don't quite bother me as much as compared to when I find typos or grammar mistakes by authors who try to show off how well they write by using long sentences and big words.
First and foremost, thank you for sending me a copy of this amaaaazzing book!! And in return, here is my review.
The story begins with Mason starting to train in controlling his powers and to develop his abilities, something that every Aerling does does under normal circumstances (which is being in the protection of Caretakers). It introduces us to a very adorable, very sweet, little Aerling named Molly, who will be or is an important part in Mason's life. I will not say how, so as not to spoil things for those who haven't read the book, but I must say that their relationship is sooooo adorable!!
So here in this book we get to see more of other Caretaker families and Aerlings under their care which I really appreciated. It is so much better than understanding things only through Robin's sometimes unreliable information.
I love it that Mason got to explore how caring for Aerlings really happens, but it is so sad that she got separated from Olivia. It is so painful for them, literally. But on the good side we get to see Hayden's unending care, love and loyalty for Ollie.
As for Robin, my annoyance for her had an upgrade in this book. And Evie, she's still super fun to read.
Intangible is more exciting, action-packed and has twists and answers that I didnt foresee but definitely hoped for. I wish to see more of these in the next book "Invincible".
A sequel to Invisible. A story of Mason and Ollie. In the previous book we found a little abt Aerling but this book takes it to next level. We get answers for few question but again many arise which would be answered in the next part I guess.
What this part is abt.
After mason and Ollie went into different paths to save each other will they be able to live away from each other? Will it help them or put them in more danger? Are the care family have any traitor who will lead to danger? Will they be able to accept Mason in and risk the aerling they taking care of? Will the ones they trust are truly their friends? Will Ollie will be able to find a way to send back mason? Will she be able to do the ultimate sacrifice for mason?
Read intangible to get the answer to these questions.
I really liked reading the book. There were few spell errors and a small fact error which I don't understand how writer forgot about it and that's the reason I couldn't rate it to 5 star. I think you will get the same question after reading intangible.. Maybe it's not a fact error and we will find abt it in next book.
Last verdict - Well written and one of my best reads.. Can't wait to read the next part.
It seems such a short time ago i was writing the review for book one (14 days ago to be exact, not that anyone's counting)but once i got hold of book 2 & i started reading, i just couldn't put down this book till i was finished.
I shall try my best to express myself without disclosing any spoilers.
Speechless.. That's what i am with this second book, intangible. Simply because the twists and turns of Mason & Olivia's fate has been spun into a new direction, one entirely unforeseen. As for Hayden... I don't like how that book ended.. But i see that he's a vital component in the 3rd installation.. It's truly amazing that the author "DelSheree Gladdeen" has been able to keep their romance going as well as the action without the story dragging.. Everything here is linked & each piece of information is vital. I Absolutely Love this book... I would totally ship Olivia & Hayden though.. Or at least give them a romance scene so that my desires for their future could be slightly fulfilled. Mason & Olivia are just too perfect together, i love them!
I absolutely cannot wait to read book 3 of this amazing series!
while reading Intangible, I was shivering with anticipation and my blood was pumping with adrenaline. It's like I am inside the book and experiencing it with the characters. this book is awesome! Then on the parts where I don't know who to trust anymore ( Robin or Hayden? or maybe none at all...). I really felt uneasy and paranoid to the point of doubting everyone. This story (book series)keeps me on the edge of my chair anticipating on the next event that will unfold. I highly recommend this to everyone :D. then when i found out who the traitor was i just wanted to bash the skull of that person for putting Olivia and Mason in a great deal of danger!
p.s. I really like Molly :) she is so young and innocent that she evn suggested that one of the tests includes making a baby :D (this made me laugh so hard and loud that my parents thought what was happening to me....
There are honestly no words to describe this book. After reading the first and second book of the Aerling Series, I couldn't read any other book. I felt the characters as if they were the ones telling me the story. I cried, I laughed, and smiled to myself. I had dreams about how much i wanted to continue reading the book as crazy as it sounds. After talking about it so much to my family, my dad wants to read it. I have never felt so connected to a book before. Whenever asked what my favorite book was, I couldn't answer because I didnt know, but now I do. At first my mom kept saying I never see you guys read anymore, and after getting sucked up in to this book, she wants me to actually do something other than read. Long story short, THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!!!
This was such an amazing book! When I read Invisible I didn't think the series could get any better but after reading this book I can see that I am clearly wrong. I can't even imagine how Invincible will be! I love how this book expands on the world of Aerlings and explains more to the readers. I knew that something was wrong with Robin but after finding out the truth, I wanted to punch her myself. This book was incredible and I never wanted to put it down! The lay chapters especially made me want to read more. I also love the cliffhanger DelSheree added at the end of the last chapter. I can't wait to read the last boom and find out what happens in this final war between Aerlings and Sentinels!
I have literally tried to finish this within a day and I did. This was an excellent addition from the first one. I'm glad that I received a free copy of the book. Honestly, I thought this was well planned out and the way mythology history played such a part in this got me more interested to know the ending. Although the ending did caught me off guard, it was certainly something I didn't expect. I can't wait to read the last instalment. I seriously want to thank the author for making such a unique story for me to enjoy! I would recommend the two books I've read so far to everyone I know.
Wow. Just wow...You know, usually what goes on in a series is that the first book is amazing in every way, and the rest are all incredibly lame attempts to recreate the first somehow (e.g. Divergent Trilogy, don't hate me please, honest opinion here); this book?? Complete opposite, everything was exactly the way it should be, and thank you, DelSheree, for bringing this book to me through Wattpad. Perfectly done, emotion, love, betrayal, lies, compassion, all sewn together into the fine book. Personally, I so saw that thing with Robin coming, but I don't want to give anything away....so...yeah. Just can't wait to get my hands on that third book!!
I received a copy of this book after reading and reviewing the first of the series, which I LOVED ! This one was just as amazing. More action packed than the first, it explored their fears and the depth of their emotions. It transported me into their hearts, not only the main characters, but the secondary ones too. The fact that I gave this a 4 star and not 5 is because the romance between Olivia and Mason seemed under-developed even compared to her "almost" romance with Hayden. I would have liked to see more of them together. Can't wait to start the third one.
invisible is an irresistible book. mason is an aerling which is not revealed in the beginning of the story slowly we get to know about wat happened with mason and how he ended up on olivias porche when she was very young she kept asking her parents that can she keep mason but her parent just laugh and think its a kid prank and allow herto keep mason with her as they cant see mason and slowly the story revealing many other secrets of olivia being her escort and the tearing apart of mason and olivia just leaves ur heart throbbing.... just loved it
Loved this second book of the series. I was sucked into the storyline by Invisible (book 1-- which I regret waiting so long to read) and I was thrilled to see the development of the Aerling story made book 2 even better. Excellent plot, and great characters. Doesn't quite end on a cliffhanger, but it's obvious there is more to Mason and Olivia's story. This is a well written, thoughtfully layered series. Plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader on his/her toes.
This book was a lovely read. I loved how the plot was built up, and the introduction of some new characters was great! The new complications were well woven into the story, and I'd definitely recommend reading this book - it's well written and the story's great, with nice references to various mythologies built in.
when I received the link to Intangible, I got too elated and excited I connected to it right away. The first book piqued my interest that I wanted to read the second book. Intangible stirred my emotions and imagination. I got involved in the book. I wasn't merely reading. I was feeling and it left me reeling because of adrenaline rush. I'm looking forward to reading book three. I'm dying with anticipation of what happens next! love the storyline! Hats off!
Mind gripping and attention stealing! I could not peel my eyes away from this book! Absolutely riveting! The twist at the end was definitely out of this world. I did not see that coming. The love and the bonds that were formed between the characters in this book are so inspiring. Cannot wait to get my hands on the third book of this series. Dying to find out what happens. Delsheree you're an amazing and captivating writer, please do not stop the work that you do!
Wow! Amazing! I was on the edge of my seat chapter after chapter. The twists and turns were fantastic. The plot was riveting. Gladden maintained/continued the beauty and magic of the first book. This was a stunning book #2 - not a filler book at all.
This series is one of my all time favorites. I just can't get enough. I'm dying to know what happens and can't wait for book #3.
Like the first book Invisible i was hooked from the beginning to the end. A story line like none that i've ever seen. Its so fascinating and it jut pulls you in. An amazing series to add to your collection. Feel free to stop by Amazon to get a copy of both Invisible and Intangible you will not be disappointed.
It was so amazing. The series gets more and more interesting. The new characters are also really awesome. I hope Mason and Olivia would continue their quest and end up together . Relly lookin forward to next book.
I absolutely love this series! I have read many supernatural/sci-fi books, and this is one of the best! From the beginning I loved the plot. The books have so many twists and turns it can make you happy and sad within a millisecond.I absolutely love both Mason, and Olivias' characters!
Intagible was also an amazing book. DelSheree is a wonderful writer. This book had be on the edge of my seat. I couldn't believe some of the stuff I read in the book. Overall this book was amazing and I loved it so much.
when I first choose invisible to read it, it was a random choice but I swear I loved the book so Much that I finished it in one day, it's so exciting and u just can't get enough whenever u start u can't stop, I love New ideas that's why I am absolutely in love with this book.
This book keeps a brilliant narrative pace, showing us the characters' deepest feelings and thoughts, while describing tons of action sequences and mystery. You must read it! I love it!
