Firstly, I am not ok with the age that he started a very adult relationship with her.
16 is way to young for the wild f*ck fest she was being exposed to.
Also, yes she did a stupid thing kissing her childhood friend in the hope of stopping him from thinking that they have a future together.
But that's just the way teens are.
They do stupid things.
I was so mad when it was just a kiss and he f*cked loads of other girls and still received texts and pics on his phone from these girls!
How was that OKAY WITH HER?!

She has to accept Him and his past but he could not cut her some slack on a stupid kiss?
Because, after all he is a man and he had needs and she was just a teen who he took as a virgin sex slave at 16.

Yes! I have a big F*cking problem with their relationship.
She gets no say and he just tells her what to do and who to hang with.
It's just nuts.
He takes over her life and she just accepts it!!!

Not my thing although the groveling was awesome and that I did enjoy.
I would cautiously recommend for those who don't mind the dominating hero and the wimp ass heroine.
Also, trigger warning for those who are sensitive! It's a Dom/sub relationship with all that this entails.

Really!? He went off the deep end over a kiss!? It's not as if she was on her knees with the other guys dick in her mouth. It was a kiss. A kiss that he interrupted so its not like things went any further and from my understanding it wasn't going to.

So because of said kiss he proceeded to verbally, physically and sexually abuse her. She was ok with this and took it all in stride because it was in the name of love. Keep in mind that she is SEVENTEEN to his TWENTY. So of course she would be easily manipulated in to thinking it's ok because it's not like she has anyone to compare him to.

As a reader I'm suppose to think this is good reading material? FUCK THAT! This book was lame and it saddens me that a book this awful would even be written.

I loved this one, but if you don't like reading about rough, punishing sex, with spanking and choking, this story isn't for you. He was a definite ass for a little while. Yes, she kissed her friend to prove that they don't feel anything for the other and they were broken up for a couple weeks and he kissed another girl cause she was watching. Still a great read. I loved it.

Only in Jordan's world do we get a 20 year old prodigy who has more money than the president; has a ten incher; falls deeply in love with a 16 year old girls, and buys her everything.

Roman is 20, some sort of prodigy about to be a doctor, he saw Vicki; stalked her; fell in love; took her and now she is his. He puts the "A" in alpha.
He is studying far away however is constantly coming down to see her while she is what a junior in highschool?
One day he arrives home early and sees her share a kiss with her best friend; he goes crazy and I mean A wall shit crazy - SPITS in her face; calls her names and goes away before he kills her. AGAIN! All over a kiss?
So then a couple of weeks later he is ready to claim her again but will punish her by spanking her, buying her a pom, and a brand new tricked out Iphone, then a brand new land-rover. Meanwhile he takes his agression out on her during sex.. then he finds out her daddy has been hitting her, and now he can't look in the mirror because he was such a douche and hurt her.. Then all this secrets come out that shakes the town up.. his tendencies become even more stalkerish and weird, but thats love right? Hahaha

I mean where the hell do I get a 20 year old prodigy with an unlimited bank account?
I'm due on a new land rover!

Roman and Vicki.
I almost didn't finish this one and I did skim most of it. but I also enjoyed it.... in skim mode.
It was;
a) repetitive
b) highschool gone OTT
c) ridiculous
d) all of the above
This reads like two books. The first half is the usual Jordan Silver fare. She's a 17 year old sweety, and he's a 22 year old super wealthy prodigy. Lots of sex. Super in love and already together at start of book. She has a childhood friend who keeps trying to turn their friendship into something more. She decides to demonstrate that there's no mojo in their friendship by kissing him. He takes the kiss farther than she intended, knowing that Roman is watching. Roman is fit to be tied and takes it out on Vicki. Never hits her, but is an emotionally abusive twit.
Then in the second half of the story, it all goes very wrong, dark, creepy, strange, OTT. Did not see that coming! It would have been seriously creepy if it was at all realistic.
Some deliciously lovely remorse from Roman, and the usual OTT HEA.

I really hate the way the H acts in this book. He acts like a baby and throws a tantrum when he feels betrayed by the h. He cuts off the h from her BF and controls all her decisions. This made me really angry. The h never stands up for herself and takes his abuse. She is very pathetic because she just wants to be back with the H. I didn't see any love between the H and h. The H's insecurities dominated this story and his violent response to them was disturbing. Also, the way the H talked was awful. He is supposedly a genius but talks like a thug. The adults in Ms. Silver's stories have no control over the H and gets away with everything. Plus, there is an emphasis on designer brands and labels which seems to be a running theme in Ms. Silver's books. This is a huge turnoff for me.

This is the last Jordan Silver book I will ever read. I have a huge problem with how the relationship between the H and h was portrayed. I love possessive H's but this was not healthy at all. The H was border line physically abusive and was definitely verbally abusive. Because of the ages of the characters, 17 and 20, I worry about what that says to young MYA readers.

Good read

Your typical Silver book. Minus Lyon series, seals, etc. That rocks. Lots of drama. Like some reviewers said, It has alot of her other book works in here with his dominant self and being very controlling and such. Has money and power. But this book writing was trying too hard. Made him seem silly. I didn't care for the ending. It just doesn't leave us complete. Many questions not answered. This book could do with way more chapters.

She's 17 and he's twenty. According to the author, she's the age of consent in the state they live. I've never had to suspend reality so much. He's a prodigy already in medical school, rich and his parents have no problem with him having a girlfriend so young and banging her brains out constantly in his bedroom. Excuse me, his floor. That's right, he has an entire floor to himself.

First person, mainly from his point which is good because the first couple of segments from her perspective she was coming off vapid. Regardless, if you like caveman, dirty talking heroes who won't take any shit from anyone including his girl, you will love this. Me? With all the above eye-rolling ness I still dig a guy ordering a girl around because she's his (shame, shame on me the feminists will crucify me) so sue me. I dig the fantasy.

After reaching the 12% mark, I have had enough!

Look, there's a fine line between being an Alpha male & a Narcissistic Asshole... With that being said, this author clearly has her supposed Hero redlining in the Asshole zone, and her heroine is one step away from being a domestic violence statistic.

I don't care how crazy/intense the chemistry is, love/lust shouldn't hurt and it definitely shouldn't be a constant source of humiliation. Even BDSM relationships have some sort of logic involved.

From what I've read thus far, this book is not only illogical, but it is offensive as well.

Wow just WOW!! I loved this book, I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster
Romans internal dialogue was hilarious, and his brand of crazy was really of the chain, but he was man enough to admit and feel like carp later for the way he had treated her
Then came a whole new brand of crazy with her insane father, the brothers gf, her childhood bff, and a whole pack of other ppl
The truth of her mother came out and broke my heart and I cried with Vicki

Loved Roman and Vicki-Lynn
20 year old, Roman Blair has it all, looks, brains, wealth, a loving and supportive family and Vicki-Lynn, his 17 year old girlfriend. His sisters best friend. Then he saw her kissing her childhood best friend, Timmy, and Roman lost his mind.
Heart broken and enraged, Roman sets out to make his soul mate pay. This isn't the first time. Not to long ago she accused him of cheating while he was away at college, which never happened, and broke up with him for 2 months. Things were finally going well again, he was looking forward to spending X-mas with his baby and she does this, in the diner parking lot were the whole town could see.
Vicki-Lynn knew she screwed up when she saw the look on Roman's face. He was gone before she could explain. Now she can't get him to talk to her. He even shut down his little sister his best friend.
Roman freezes his girl out, until he can't. It's going to be a long time before he can forgive, Vicki-Lynn, if ever, and forgetting is never going to happen. He loves her, she is his soul mate. Thing are going to change. He is going total caveman on her girl.
When things come to light about how Vicki-Lynn's father, the town sheriff, has been treating her. The Blair men take action. Vicki-Lynn finds her self living with Roman and his family, who adore her.
Roman and his big brother Jules have plans to make the Sheriff pay. What they find is a pure evil. Jules's girl's family is connected. Keeping Vicki-Lynn safe, along with their sister and mother, is now their number one priority. Handling the problem, requires their dad's help. He calls in their Uncle Marcus, a black ops badass.
Over the top, Fun,Fast paced and very steamy. Roman's inner monolog is hilarious. A great epilogue to wrap up their story.

So this book was a bit different in storyline compared to the other books. At least this one actually concentrated on more the actual story with murders etc.

At first I was extremely annoyed with Roman's character with him being a total dick over a kiss (which is cheating...yes) but him being a douche treating her like shit wasn't okay but more annoyed with Victoria with allowing it. But once he realizes that she was someone who was being abused by her father her whole life and didn't know he actually realized what he did was just as bad and actually hated himself so that's when I like him. Because he did everything in his power to protect her.

Sex scenes were steamy as usual. I don't understand why people had a problem with their age difference when they're only 3 yrs apart. Colt and Kat were 14 yrs apart and Lydia and Travis were 8 yrs apart. So let's get over it.

H is different college. and h is like senior in high school. h saw text on Hs phone of a naked OW. the text just came in. there was no convos etc. Like one sided. h blew up and H had to grovel for 2 months. Over a text. that OW sent.. and he never sent anything back. Like anybody can send a text, he cant cant controll it.
SOOO then h has a friend who wants her. She knows he wants her. She kissed the friend, to show him there are no feelings. Full blown kiss tongue and all. AND H sees. She cheated. 100%. No questions.
H took off for 2 weeks and h grovels, tries to explain. Then the hate fuck started and how H punish h for a long time.

Like wtf. h blew up over a text and then cheated herself. And i dont like my h to do wrong and grovel, so dnf. Ah and she was still friends with the dude. After the kiss....

This book is similar to another Silver book. It has all the same features: Genius dates girl, girl is friends with his sister, brother is friends with geniuses girlfriend, brother‘s girlfriend does not like geniuses girlfriend, girlfriend‘s father is the sheriff, girlfriend receives a lot of luxurious things from her genius boyfriend and he also does not like her car. There is a boy that likes the girlfriend and he is cray 😜 cray. Peariant parents are beyond understanding. They know someone who can do dirty deeds and looks in the stuff is also kind of like a bodyguard a close friend of the family. But also in the family. So like I said exact same concept but there were minor changes to the story.

At first I thought, what the f#ck. The way he treated her after the kiss was very uncalled for and if it was me I would have kicked him in his prescious balls. And cut him out of my life no matter what. Then after I decided to keep reading the story further, I said hmmm what about a punch through the throat? That could be fun. Then as I read further more drama added and then yes he grovels at her feet for forgiveness. Although his guilt at the way he treated her and the way he did her, pun included, tore at him. He needed to grovel a hell of a lot more. So what. I have standards.

Roman is livid with his girlfriend Viki who he catches kissing her best friend. She tells him it was just to prove a point to Timothy but Roman's temper flairs causing him to send Viki through all kinds of hell. Then when he and his brother stumbles upon information about her and Timothy's father, he finds himself having to protect Viki from the fallout? This story is filled with suspenseful drama that kept me guessing what was going to happen in the end!

This was my second time reading this story. It's been a while so everything was fresh once again. Hot and steamy.. I usually love anything Ms. Jordan writes so this was a given. I would have loved a pov from the sick puppies in this story. Maybe the sheriff, Melanie, and Timothy's povs.

I loved it

I have to say it took me a while to get to read this book because some reviews made it seem about only "the kiss". It is way more than that though...the Sherrif's secret life and the abuse Vicky lived day in and out for years... Yeah the book is a whole lot more and just sooooo good! Thank you, Jordan for another great book. Much appreciated💝
