Shifting Tides

Rate this book
When a woman vanishes without a trace, it ignites a firestorm of secrets and lies that threatens to consume all of Miami. As Ethan Marston and his elite MBLIS team peel back the layers of deception, they stumble into a nightmarish web of human trafficking, political corruption, and a criminal empire that stretches to the highest echelons of power.

Joined by the razor-sharp FBI agent Nina Gosse and the tenacious SVU investigator Catalina Hernandez, Ethan races against time to unravel a conspiracy that leads straight to the doorstep of Senator Paxten – a man with his eyes on the White House and skeletons in every closet.

But as the investigation intensifies, so do the dangers. Ethan finds himself torn between his sworn duty and the treacherous waters of personal loyalties and forbidden attractions. With each step forward, the line between ally and enemy blurs, and the price of truth grows steeper.

Can Marston navigate this labyrinth of corruption and emerge victorious? Or will the shifting tides of power and greed drag him – and everyone he loves – into the abyss?

Matt Lincoln has lived his entire life on the coast and he wouldn't have it any other way. A lifelong fan of Travis McGee, Magnum PI, and just about anyone who knows their way around a boat and a good cigar, Matt now lives where the sand meets the surf with his beautiful wife, a son who reminds him way too much of himself at that age, and an Irish Setter who he can never seem to tire out. Life is good.

A necessary read in the series

Well. Not my favorite of the series but necessary. Marston seems to have a different woman in every 'port'. It's time for him to be accountable. Thankfully I was invested in the team bringing down this group of very bad people. Ready for the next story. Waiting for more Dragon's Rogue info too.

Always entertaining

The book was wonderful as always Marston's love life is always wild but this was hilarious. Looking forward to the next. Sooner or later we need to get on with the hunt for the Dragon's Rouge. Just a suggestion from a fan

Shifting Tides

I have to admit that I have fully enjoyed Matt Lincoln's books but this one was absolutely gripping! I could not put it down. I can't wait for the next Agent Marston book, aka MBLIS, Robbie Holm and girlfriends. Well done Matt Lincoln!

As always, A great read.

I always look forward to reading the next book in the series. The details put you in the middle of the action. Kudos to another great story. Getting edge about the next one.

Oh Ethan

Unbelievable how understanding and accepting Ethan's trio was. Was thinking any minute a cat fight would break out. But they graciously decided to share.... Yea right!!! Robbie is quickly becoming my favorite.

Sunk in the Clouds

The intrigue and hunt for a gangster tied to a U.S. Senator & Presidential want-to-be was enough. The 4-way romance novel made my head hurt while dragging the intensity and suspense way down.

Marston and Holm like never before

A really wild ride. The best yet with all of Marston’ romantic interests in one breath holding episode after episode.
The most entertaining so far.

Not up to the usual standard

WAY too much rom com
Drama. Ethan needs to learn to keep it in his pants. BORING drama. Page after page of inane adolescent drama

Smoother, faster and more

I do not like chopped stories. This was not. Very good, the telling was a much easier read this time
