Less is More: 101 Ways to Simplify Your Life

Rate this book
Less is More is a collection of inspirational messages and advice that encourages the reader to enjoy life more by living a little more simply. Trying to do it all, be it all and have it all is exhausting—and too often, people find themselves asking ‘What was it all for?’ The sad conclusion for so many is that the things they pushed themselves to do and have were never that important. Less is More shows the reader how to find more time and energy to enjoy the things that really do matter. It invites the reader to make small, simple changes in the way they live, like learning to say no and embracing changes that will simplify their life and leave them feeling relaxed and happy, instead of stressed and overwhelmed.

A very simple quick read contains wisdom and delightful thoughts about happiness, minimalism, health, success..and life in general.
Actually, I was distracted when I read this book that's why I can't mention more details about it, but I like the cover, the brief expressions and the positive messages :)

Loved this right from the preface:

✨ "Trying to do it all, be it all and have it all is exhausting. All too often people find themselves asking, 'What was it all for?' The sad conclusion for so many is that the things they pushed themselves to do and have were rarely that important and never led to the happy and fulfilling life they longed for."

A wonderful collection filled with useful affirmations and timely reminders. I love that it focuses on self-care, being content, loving unconditionally, living fully as well as the concept of less is more.

How content is presented and the layout of each page further embody the book's values. Everything is digestible and bite-sized while still being meaningful and impactful. Less is more indeed!

~Not much *NEW* to learn~

Seemed like a series of pinterest inspired quotes and most of them did not have anything to do with owing less. (Which I assumed the title was about)

“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses” -Abraham Lincoln

A quick read I come back to when I need some inspiration. The content is not mind blowing or original, just sensible advice and thoughtful quotes.

Nothing new... Either I have read too many self-help books or this 'inspirational' book is not inspiring enough and just repeating old wisdom. I guess it was ok for people who rarely read and prefer to be given bite size wisdom.

A simple one. It's worth to read when you get bored in reading "heavyweight-pieces".

Like a magazine article but slightly expanded. I wouldn't recommend spending money on it.

Básicamente es un libro con citas de personajes famosos y un breve párrafo debajo de cada una de ellas con un pensamiento que le evoca a la autora. Nada impresionante, pero entretenido para pasar un rato.

A quick read. I just found some keywords and you can simply use this to get inspired. There is nothing new in this book from other self-help or inspirational books. But, it won't waste much of your time but will give you an opportunity to rethink some of your habits.

I love this book. I bought Less is More a few years ago and I always go back and open it at random and read a few pages. I thought it would have a lot of reading but I finished it in 15 minutes. It's short and sweet.

Just finished this great read, I recommend it to anyone that is going through it (in anyway). It’s very motivational and helpful, a lot of the quotes hit home for me and helped me realize where I need to start and continue to grow and how to reach my fullest potential.

Offers 101 ways to live a more simple life in order to reduce stress and improve health and happiness. accompanied why quotes from famous people. There really isn't anything new or revolutionary here but it has some good advice.

The book had an admirable layout, with quotes on the left-hand pages and short tips on the right-hand pages. It's a beautiful book that took its own message to heart. A brief read on living with less, to have what remains mean more.

A nice read - short, crisp and to the point. No doubt it could have been a bit better had the points/ topics been elaborated a bit more with incidents or examples. Also, few of the topics didn't go with the theme of the book.

Still, a nice read !
