FIRST, DO NO HARM

Dr. Calista St. James had been bound to that oath in her work for the Global Crisis Alliance. In the world's most dangerous countries, she had healed the needy and defied the ruthless mercenaries who'd tried to stop her. Then she'd been dishonorably dismissed after a tragedy that haunted her still.

Now the Alliance wanted her back--and they had information to ensure her cooperation. The lover she'd believed dead was alive, a prisoner in a militant-controlled territory in Russia. But secrets lay deep in the Russian wilderness. And Calista had to expose the truth at the risk of everything--again.

I'm still gasping after reading this book and my heart is still hammering. Can you say STUPENDOUS???

Dr. Calista St. James is a unique heroine who is a doctor and commando and a vigilante wrapped in one. And her mentor and later lover Damian De Luna is the best dark and mysterious hero I've ever read. My GOD are those two HOT, whether they're taking care of business in rescuing hostages, decimating enemy forces or snarking each other's heads off or burning the sheets.

This book has it all. An incredible plot, breathtaking action and suspense, a medical thriller, addictive characters, a unique villain and a one-in-a million love affair between those two unforgettable characters.

I'm also still wondering what this book is doing without any marketing or propaganda. THIS is the book that should be turned into blockbuster movie, not stories like SALT and the James Bond and Mission Impossible mmovies! If this book is made a movie, it would blow all those franchises out of the water! I hope someone is reading this and taking notes!

St. James and DeLuna are both tough, strong both mentally and physically, knowlegable in
chemical, biological, and arsinol of weapons. Did i say strong mentally? I actally meant they
were stubborn. Both believeing they were right. Both leaving out pertinant information. Its
a wonder any of them came back home. This was a very well written book. So unlike all the
other Sillohette books. Details on their mission were so spelled out. One had to read this slow
as not to miss anything. 5 stars.

Incredible beginning to a one-of-a-kind action adventure medical thriller. Calista St. James and Damian De Luna are a unique heroine and hero and their complex, stormy love affair is as unique as they are. The premise, the usage of medicine in the suspense and the fighting, Calista's and Damian's teams are all something I've never seen in other books before. Such a shame that this series was so underexposed as it deserves to be a HUGE bestseller.

One of the bet action adventure thrillers I've ever read. Calista and Damian are unique characters and in the deluge of books and characters out there, that's saying something huge. Strong Medicine is an incredible beginning to a unique series I wished could go on and on, but was regretfully mis-published in a line that was mishandled and met an early demise. I only hope Olivia Gates self-publishes the rest of the books in the series as she recently did Shock Therapy!

It was harder to get through, but I stuck it out. There was just so much psychological angst and so many words, that dragged the first person story out.
