4 Stars!

It is amazing how much action is packed into this novella. It is non-stop....and I loved it. I am not sure that everything would have worked like it did in the story in real life but who cares. This story is so much fun. This story had everything a romantic suspense should have - wonderful characters, lots of action, tons of chemistry, and even a few laughs.

Ward finds himself zip tied to chair at the beginning of the story and he has Tasha to thank for it. It doesn't take long for Ward to realize that Tasha is not just a bartender just as he is not really a businessman. Ward is actually a CIA operative on a mission, while Tasha is a MI6 operative from England that happens to be on a very similar mission.

Ward and his partner, Ford, convince Tasha that they need to work together. Tasha quickly proves that she is a force to be dealt with and is just as tough as any man. Ward and Tasha stick together and find that the chemistry they felt while watching each other has not gone away but has intensified. Against all odds, the pair successfully work together.

As I noted earlier, everything in this story may not be the way things would have worked in the real world but that is the case with most action stories. This story was hard to put down because you never know what was going to happen next. The writing was great and the characters were well fleshed out for such a short work.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense. This is the first story by HelenKay Dimon that I have had a chance to read but I plan to look for others soon. This is also the beginning of a new series that I look forward to reading.

I received a copy of this book from Avon Impulse via Edelweiss for the purpose of providing an honest review.

I liked the funny banter between Ford and Ward, and Ford and Tasha. Basically, I really liked Ford - who was not the hero, mind you - and the fact that a secondary character made a stronger impression on me than the main characters told me that something wasn't exactly right in this story. Not that Ward and Tasha, the H/h, were "bad". I liked them too, but Ford stole the scene, so to speak.

All in all, this was an okay read packed with action scenes, which was nice, but not enough time to develop the romance between the H/h, which made their HEA feel rushed. Hopefully, the next books in the series will "fix" that. As full-length stories, they'll have more pages/time to build the relationship between the H/h.

Running Hot was an action packed novella with enough sexual chemistry to burn up the pages. I recommend this awesome little book to anyone who adores romantic suspense and Jason Statham movies! Tasha and Ward are two characters I would have loved to spend more time with and hope I see more of them throughout the series.
*Sexual content, graphic violence, and awesome combat scenes*

Good introduction to the Bad Boys Undercover series and how The Alliance got started. It starts with Ward regaining consciousness after a date with the sexy bartender he's been trying to charm all week. She has morphed from hot bartender to badass woman, and he's scrambling trying to figure out what is going on. I loved their confrontation, as he tries to maintain his cover, and she tries to get him to come clean. Ward isn't totally helpless, and uses his own skills to escape his bonds, but even that doesn't work out quite the way he expects. Finally rescued by his partner, Ford, they head off looking for her while continuing on their own mission.

Tasha works for MI6 and Ward for the CIA. Both of them are on the island for the same reason. When they finally catch up to Tasha, it takes some doing to convince her that working together is the way to go. Tasha has quite an attitude, thanks to dealing with men who have no respect for her abilities, and has no trouble letting Ward and Ford know what she thinks of them. There's some power struggling going on between Ward and Tasha, partly aggravated by the simmering chemistry between them, but they end up working very well together. Both of them have trouble with their attraction distracting them which gets them into a couple awkward situations.

The suspense and action of the story was really good. From the first page there was always something going on. I loved seeing all three work together to get the mission accomplished. The encounters leading up to the final confrontation were intense and showed both Ward and Tasha that they could depend on each other. The final confrontation had me wondering at times if they were all going to make it out in one piece. I liked the realism of things not going according to plan, and that injuries happen.

When it was all over Ward and Tasha had to deal with the aftermath. I ached for Tasha as Ward pushed her away. I enjoyed his big moment at the end, especially seeing a hint of vulnerability in his tough guy attitude. I also loved his comments about their future relationship, on and off the job.

A novella featuring Ford, Ward, & Tasha. Ford & Ward work for the CIA & Tasha works for MI6, unbeknownst to each other. Ward and Tasha have been flirting and finally go on a date that ends in disaster and uncovering their secret identities. The men and Tasha team up since they have the same goal of ridding the island of a rogue dictator. The attraction between Ward and Tasha intensifies and starts interfering with the mission but they can't seem to help themselves. Danger, intrigue, romance, and a showdown round out this short story.

Finally got around to readings this. Took me long enough to finish... I really need to stop starting a gazillion books.
So. First I have to say, I wish I would have liked this better. It does have potential. It could be good. But sadly I didn't. I got a few issues with it, in fact, I was so gonna DNF at 35%, but decided to just read another chapter, which thankfully I did. It got better quite a bit better.
Now after finishing, I keep reflecting on what I didn't like, trying to point out what would have made this a good read for me. But one of my biggest issues actually is I am not sure if I like the writing style.
Which is a huge issue for me. But also means it comes just down to taste. I mean, I know lots of people who are not really phased by the writing style (otherwise how could one read twilight?!) but for me it's really really important. Now this is not bad. It's not like another twilight experience. Nope, far from it, I just don't think it's fo me. It's more of a Nabokov case for me. It's good but not my kinda thing. I think at leasst. Cause I did enjoy some parts of it, others not so much.. Very undeceive I know. So let me just say, the writing style was not quite enjoyable.

The character building was a similar experience for me. The first 30% - just annoying. I mean can you say cliche, smartass douchbags? I found both MCs annoying with a capitol A, but not because they were being total asshats- both of them. Nope it was the dialogues that grated at me, oh add to that their thoughts. SO SO SO cliche. And very unfunny, though I assume they were supposed to be funny...

“Then there’s the part where she dropped you to the ground like a rag doll. You, a complete hardass with hundreds of thousands of dollars of training behind you.” Ford held out the wallet in front of Ward’s face. “That’s just sad, man.” Ward wanted to grab it. Would have if he could move his hands. “Did you miss the part where I said ‘fuck you’?” “It would be easier to take you seriously if you weren’t tied to a chair.”

my reaction to this: I wasn't sure if I was irritated or just unimpressed. - but it defo was not amusing. AT ALL
There is loads of smart-ass banter in this. And very little did amuse me. I just found it mostly disappointing.

Tasha is supposedly this hardass super spy. But for most of the book, she was just conceited and aggressive! Plus she came across a really dizzy

A WOMAN COULD only sit in a tree for so long before the whole thing got silly.

The small, lightweight binoculars were infrared and long range. She'd rater have a muffing but they did have a practical use.

TASHA DIDN'T DO wonky things. She'd been trained to handle dangerous and avoid dumb. What she wanted to do with Ward involved a lot of naughty, which made even entertaining it shockingly dumb.

I mean wonky things?! huh? She is supposedly hardass? I know she is British- but trust me, no one thinks wonky unless they .. dunno ... prude? AND that really doesn't go with the super-spy say it as it is persona she supposedly has. Beside did I mention her defensiveness?! OMG!? Like get off your horse woman and take that chip off your shoulder. Cause really?? WTF.
I get it's hard to prove yourself in a man's profession (been there), but the amount of issues she has, leads me to assume she agrees with all those jackasses. WELL, darling go grow a pair.
Ward was not much better, at first. He was so full of it. And yet, as the story went on I like him way more.
Though his Dude-banter with Ford. Just cringe. It's painful at times.
Then the action took over the story. Starting with some pretty yummy smut.
And suddenly all the characters were... way more normal, way more unique .. less action hero cliches. I actually liked them - all three of them. And I suddenly wanted to know what made them tick, I actually did care for them. The entire thing got way way way better.
The villain- uhm let's not go into it- just let me say, this: CLICHE caricature.
So I am totally undecided again. I did like parts and really didn't others.

Then I got a question- so they under cover peps. They supposedly are using aliases.. but they are refered to by the same names the entire time. So what is it? Aliases or not? Either way this kinda doesn't work. Why use their real names in an undercover op. And if one uses an alias, why not ever give a different name to each other- and more so to the reading. I mean how could the end be like that- BUT they still call each other at their alias?

The story line was actually my favorite thing. I love how Dimon just throws you in the deep end. And how the story unravels from there. I enjoyed the action, loved it actually. This is rather action packed.
But the end...I was taken aback. I felt it was rushed. It just got good. Then... it's three month later. The end.
The romance- what can I say? I am still undecided. Sorry. I know. I know.
But there are parts I loved about it. Then others not so much. I mean it's insta-everthing. So it was never gonna be my favorite. But there is potential, again when it just got interesting, it got resolved and the story was finished. Kinda sad. But that also means this left me wondering.

Should I read the next one in the series? I think I really want to... but I am a wee bit.. undecided.

2.5Stars wishing it would be more.

Hot, Hot, Hot - Action Packed - Strike Back love! Wish it had been longer though. That's the thing about novellas, just not long enough.

Ward Bennett is CIA undercover on the island of Fiji, and whereas he’d much rather be enjoying all the delights the tropical scenery can afford plus the luscious sexual delights of the bartender he’s been schmoozing the past few days, waking up tied to a chair with a splitting headache wasn’t in his plans. Discovering the beautiful bartender isn’t what she was pretending to be wasn’t in the plan either but he can learn to appreciate her talents, and her deadly skills.

MI6 agent, Tasha Gregory would rather deal with the bad guys alone than put up with another misogynistic CIA operative who would prefer to have her see to getting coffee for him than take orders from a woman. When she discovers the gorgeous man she’s had to knock out and restrain is indeed, CIA, she wonders what she’s done to deserve him and isn’t about to let him get in her way.

Finally agreeing to work together, Ward and Tasha quickly learn they’re essentially working toward the same goal – to stop the bad guy with way too many stinger missiles. Soon their goal becomes more personal when they start worrying about each other beyond the mission.

If you’ve ever seen, and enjoyed, the HBO show, STRIKE BACK, you will love RUNNING HOT by HelenKay Dimon. Inspired by the show, HelenKay has done great justice to it. Ward Bennett and Ford Decker are very much like Damien Scott and Michael Stonebridge, and I love them. Fast talking, fast thinking, action-seeking and sexy as hell is what HelenKay has created in the Bad Boys Undercover series and RUNNING HOT is a fabulous jumping off point.

Hooked by RUNNING HOT immediately because Ward is so much like Scott, I couldn’t put this book down. Ward is sexy, he’s a smartass, he’s got sexy hot maleness pouring out of his veins. He’s very definitely an Alpha male hero but he can also appreciate a woman with skills, strength, and the know how to keep herself, and others around her, alive – an Alpha female like Tasha Gregory, in whom he’s very definitely met his match.

RUNNING HOT by HelenKay Dimon is an action-packed, sexy adventure in covert operations filled with danger, snarky dialogue, and enough steamy sexual tension, it nearly melted the cover off my e-reader. If you love action, smexy characters, and taking out the bad guys, I highly recommend RUNNING HOT by HelenKay Dimon.

With a teaser for PLAYING DIRTY, the first full-length book in the series at the end of RUNNING HOT, I’m chomping at the bit to read the next one, but have to wait until I clear a slot in my reading schedule. I am so dying for Ford’s story, or is that Stonebridge’s?

***purchased for my own personal reading, but sharing my honest and unscripted review.

Running Hot is filled with non-stop action that continues right through until the last chapter. It had me sucked in from the first page and I didn't put it down until I finished!

I love a badass heroine and Tasha is definitely badass! In the first scene we get to watch her take down our hero, Ward, not once but twice. And the kicker? He thinks she's that much hotter for doing it.

Ward is CIA and Tasha is MI6 and they're both in Fiji to take down the same bad guy. Of course they decide to team up and what ensues is romantic suspense at it's finest. We have knife fights and gun battles, sexy times between Ward and Tasha, and of course, working together to take down the head honcho.

This would have easily been a 5 star read for me had it not been for that ending. I feel that everything wrapped up way too quickly after they took down the baddie, and the fact that Ward completely ignored Tasha for months afterward? Not cool!

I'm definitely looking forward to reading Ford's book when it comes out though, and I'll probably check out more of HelenKay Dimon's books in the mean time.

A Smart-Mouthed M16 Agent and a Sexy as Sin CIA agent come together in an Explosive prequel to the Upcoming Bad Boys Undercover series by HelenKay Dimon.

Fast Paced and Fun...I found the banter between Ward and Tasha humorous and best kind of foreplay.

While working together to save Fiji from a madman with a deadly missile, Ward and Tasha spark a connection that begins with easy flirtation for Ward to gain intel, to an all out combustion of lust fueled sex....oh yeah!

Fantastic start to what is teaming up to be a thrill-ride of a series with a New Team, Team Alliance...and a sexy, funny, and dangerous cast of characters to take us on some wild rides!

This was a pretty good start to a new series. If I had one complaint it is how both Wade and Tasha let sex fog their brains at times, something I find a hard time swallowing as they are elite spies. I did like how they were able to work together and bring down the bad guy. I really like how things ended with them building a new agency, it should bring about all sorts of new fun for future books.

I liked the plot in this book, Ford and Ward were awesome characters. I loved their banter and their friendship was very realistic. Tasha, she can walk off a cliff and I’d be okay with that. She was a bitch, flat out stuck up, annoying, and haughty. I just could not like her at any point. She was always stuck on her “I’m better than you, I’m a woman and I know you look down on me, anything you can do I can do better” attitude. How Ward was still attracted to her and wanted to be with her after all the bitching and whining she did is confounding to me. Her country is superior to the U.S, she is smarter than any man, her way is the only right way, she is in charge of everything.

The storyline I did enjoy and although I cringed in discomfort at certain things it made it much more realistic than getting out of their mess with only a simple bullet in them. I did feel bad that Ward is limited in what he can do now but I think that was just a way for the author to create The Alliance to make way for the rest of the series. I’m surprised that Ward is taking his new job behind the scenes a lot better than I thought he would considering he seems to be the type that likes to be out in the field.

I hate that he’s with Tasha though, he can do a lot better than her. Her being hurt at the fact that he kept it professional in the hospital is laughable and makes me question what did she expect from him? She herself said that sex was all there was between them like a day or two before all the action happened. She didn’t tell him that she had feelings for him or that she changed her mind about it just being sex between them. How was he supposed to know she felt what he felt for her if she didn’t say anything? She stayed quiet, didn’t hint at it, didn’t open up to him, and went home as he would have expected of her because she didn’t speak up. He followed her cues and kept it physical but friendly. He had nothing to apologize for and she had no right to be angry, upset, or hurt and playing the victim like she did. She’s a manipulative, bitch, snob and he should have been with someone more deserving.

Won’t be reading this again and I really hope this author can make at least one heroine I can respect, like, and even love. So far her heroes she creates are awesome, the women are terrible.

~~~~~~
3.5 stars--RUNNING HOT is the introductory novella in HelenKay Dimon’s adult contemporary Bad Boys Undercover action, suspense, romance series. This is CIA operative Ward Bennett and MI6 agent Tasha Gregory’s storyline.
The storyline follows Ward and Tasha’s undercover assignments in Fiji. Neither is aware that other is deep undercover or that they are looking for the same evil dictator whose attempting to amass a stash of military grade weapons. What ensues is Tasha’s take down of Ward; his decision to merge information with Tasha; and their pursuit of a man who is accumulating a horde of illegal weapons and machinery. Enter fellow CIA agent Ford who aids Tasha and Ward in their search for a missing MI6 operative; add some less than cooperative gun-toting assassins whose idea of fun is torture and mutilation; and you have yourself a recipe for disaster.
RUNNING HOT is a predictable, quick and easy introductory read; an action packed story of suspense and romance. I did have some issues with the writing style-as though I was being told a story and not invited in-especially during the action and fight sequences which came across as stilted and cold-almost choreographed. Our couple take a few minutes to ‘discover’ one another’s deepest secrets which mark the beginnings of a permanent relationship-one that will result in the formation of a new Black Ops Team known as Alliance-the merging of former CIA and MI6 agents whose assignments are dangerous and deadly.
CIA agent Ward Bennett is undercover in Fiji tracking down a dictator, who fled there with an arsenal of Stinger missiles. That doesn’t keep Ward from noticing the sexy bartender at his resort. When Tasha Gregory, an undercover MI6 agent, discovers Ward snooping in her purse, she kidnaps him to find out what he knows. Once they discover that they are both agents undercover, they form an unlikely partnership with one goal in mind: prevent the crazy dictator from disturbing the peace in this quiet part of the globe. The more Ward and Tasha work together, the more they become attracted to each other. Will they give into their attraction? Will they catch the dictator before he has a chance to use those missiles?
I am not really sure I would call this a novella. At 208 pages, this prequel packs quite the punch. From the first sentence to the very last sentence, Dimon sucked me into this fast paced, action packed romance.
The interaction between Tasha and Ward is just fantastic. The verbal sparring these two engage in had me cracking up at times. The chemistry between these two is extremely intense and the heat they generate is hotter than any missile exploding
We also get to meet Ward’s partner, Ford Decker. Ford and Ward have been partners for years and have a hilarious bromance going on. Their interactions with each other are almost as good as Tasha and Ward’s.
There is a lot of action in this book. Dimon does an excellent job of writing those scenes. She gives just enough information for readers to get the picture of what is going on without getting bogged down in technical details. Every single one of the action scenes played out like a movie in my head.
Running Hot is the prequel novella to the Bad Boys Undercover series. This is a fast paced, action packed book with three great main characters that will have you running to get the next book in the series. Anyone who loves romantic suspense should give this book and series a read.
3.5 Stars. Running Hot is the Prequel to HelenKay Dimon's new Bad Boys Undercover Series. It's a quick read at about 200 pages. I enjoyed the story but my favorite part was the banter between Ward and Ford and Ford and Tasha. The only problem with that is that Ford is not the main character for this book.
Ward is a CIA agent who is in Fiji to find a terrorist who has made off with a bunch of US weapons. He's been flirting with a bartender to get information from her but wakes up tied to a chair with a terrible headache. Tasha is a M16 agent who's mission is to stop the terrorist and she knows Ward isn't who he says he is.
Tasha has a bit of a chip on her shoulder and a low opinion of the CIA but it doesn't take long before they both realize they will have to work together. Their professional relationship quickly morphs into something personnel.
This book was action packed and entertaining. The romance wasn't terribly believable as the characters really didn't have much time together when they weren't fighting off bad guys. Maybe if we had seen some of the scenes were they connected in the bar it would have been easier to believe. Still I really enjoyed both Ward and Ford's characters and the dialogue was witty and entertaining. While both Ward and Ford were funny and charming they were also tough, strong and capable. Tasha was a kick-ass female who was very capable of taking care of herself and anyone else. I liked that Ward appreciated her talents and yet had a protective instinct.
This was an action-packed, entertaining story with some great snarky dialogue. I think that had the book been a little longer my issues with the romance would have been resolved. As I mentioned Ford stole the show for me so I am very much looking forward to his book which is next.
Avon welcomes HelenKay Dimon and her latest series to the team, and this Avon Addict couldn't be more excited. The blurbs pulled me in. I love Romance, but I am a sucker for some suspense - so I dove into the novella, Running Hot with excitement. Ms. Dimon did not disappoint, and I think she has a winning series on her hands with Bad Boys Undercover. Who doesn't love the alpha male? When you have him a part of this testosterone filled Black Ops team - that is the icing on the cupcake.
Ward and his partner, Ford are in Fiji looking to take down a dictator who has his hands on some pretty lethal weapons. While enjoying his undercover stint, he comes across a bartender who seems to have her own agenda as well. Tasha has an issue with men never taking her too seriously in her line of work.
"You should know, if you move your feet even one inch I will punch you in the junk so hard I'll have to send an apology to the future kids you'll never have." She winked at him. "Got that, stud?"
Both sides decide that it is best to work together for the greater good. Can these two survive what is brewing between them? Without giving too much away, these two conduct their final missions on separate teams. The Alliance is the start of a fun and suspenseful ride for us readers and those employed under Tasha and Ward.
My favorite part about this book was the friendships between the men. The Bromances, if you will call them that. Something about seeing men in their natural habitats: calling each other out on their crap, having each others backs and the crude jokes - I love every word of it... and HelenKay Dimon delivers it.
What's better than a Bad Boy? A Bad Boy and a woman strong enough to meet him toe to toe. Our first introduction to Ward is as he is waking up in Fiji, tied to a chair in a little shack. He had thought he was heading off with Tasha the hottie bartender for a little naughty nookie time, when she catches him going through her purse and gets suspicious of his actions. Turns out she has every right to be. Needless to say, Tasha gets the drop on him and boy is he unhappy about that.
Ward is CIA and Tasha is MI6. Both are on the island to stop a fugitive dictator who has a stockpile of weapons, just itching to start a little war. Neither knew the other would be there and to get the bad guy, they will have to not only learn to work together, but trust one another. Can two strong willed people used to being in charge, be able to get the job done?
I really enjoyed this read. This is basically the background story for the Alliance, a joint CIA/MI6 task force that the next Bad Boys agents will be members of. If this is the kind of action and romance that we can expect from the upcoming full length novels, sign me up! I am giving this novella 4 stars, for a high quality read and a fantastic start to a new series.
First off, Running Hot is a pretty good intro the Bad Boys Undercover. In this story we meet Ward Bennett and Tasha Gregory who are both undercover agents, and they both want the same guy. Well, Tasha doesn't want to work with Ward cause she doesn't want to share credit or worse he takes all the credit. So, throughout the story we have these two fighting there attraction while trying to accomplish the mission. Both of them are extremely stubborn. Ward tends to ooze off charm which drives Tasha mad. The one character flaw of Tasha that kind gets under Ward's skin is her her lack of trust. Seriously, these two pact a lot heat for one another, but they butt-heads for a while.
Anyway, since it's a novella, it's a pretty quick read, and easy to give too much away. Yet it's a decent introduction on what forms between the two agency forming an alliance to work together. Plus, it gives a quick romance and action. So, if you are looking for an into to a new suspense story, you might checkout Running Hot, because it might be what you are looking for.
Oh, my goodness. I had so much fun reading Running Hot. From the moment I started it to the very end... It freaking rocked! The suspense had me on the edge of my seat. The sizzling hot chemistry between Ward and Tasha had me fanning myself. And the hilarious banter between Tasha and both Ward and Ford had me in tears. I loved this novella! The fast pace was perfect. It was the perfect length for an introduction into the Bad Boys Undercover series. An amuse-bouche, if you will. The characters were fabulous. Tasha was a kick-ass heroine. I love heroines that can kick some series booty and take names. She has no problem knocking Ward on his ass and does so a couple times. And I think that turned both of them on... Ward is unbelievably sexy. He's all alpha male. Plus look at the cover... HOLY COW! Yum! They're obviously strong as individuals, but together, they'll take on the world.
HelenKay, you have a new fan. I loved Running Hot and I can't wait for the next book in the series. In fact, I'm hoping it is going to be a long series. No pressure! *wink*
Holy hotness! What a way to start off a new series! HelenKay kicked this one hard and I absolutely LOVED it!
Ward wakes up strapped to a chair and wondering what the hell happened as the last thing he remembers is getting it on with the hot bartender. Next thing he knows he is face to face with Tasha and the one thing he knows for sure is that this woman is more than a bartender. She is holding a gun on him and wants to know who he is as she knows he isn't a finance guy on vacation. Turns out they are both on the island for the same reason. They need to stop a very bad man who stole weapons and is extremely dangerous.
I so loved these two together. Their banter was fantastic and their chemistry was sizzling. Add to that the fact that they both could kick ass and take names and you have a knock out book filled with action and romance from beginning to end. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I give Running Hot 4 hearts!
A really great introduction to the new Bad Boys Undercover series from HelenKay Dimon. Ward is in the Fiji jungle trying to track down missing weapons and a man intent on starting a war. As a CIA agent he’s known for keeping a cool head and staying on target. But meeting sexy bartender Tasha throws him for a loop. Especially when it turns out there’s more to her than meets the eye. MI6 agent Tasha has the same goal as Ward but used to colleagues distrusting her because she’s a woman keeps her from fully trusting Ward. But when push comes to shove they have to learn to trust if they are going to survive in the jungle. A fun, sexy, fast paced start to a new series. I had already had a chance to read the first book in the series but now I can’t wait to re-read, and read more, because I love where she’s going with these books. Can’t wait to read more!
3.5* out of five stars
I was intrigued when I read the synopsis and extract from this (I think on Kindles and Wine) in which the hero, Ward, is a CIA operative undercover and the heroine, Tasha, is an MI6 agent, also undercover. She manages to knock him out and tie him to a chair TWICE. It seemed to have a kick-ass heroine and humour so I bit the bullet (so to speak) and paid money for an unknown (to me) author AND a novella to boot.
I have to say the author made a very valiant attempt to stop Ward taking over and protecting Tasha. I felt that she could have tried harder.
Anyway, on the strength of this I will definitely check out Playing Dirty.
Running Hot by HelenKay Dimon was a great one to introduce me to the Bad Boys Undercover series! This book tell us how Ward and Tasha met (with some fun Ford in there as well) and really shows the tone of Dimon's writing and what kickass characters she writes. I am already hooked on this series and can't wait to read through them all.
Ward and Ford are in Fiji for the CIA and Tasha is there for MI6 - both after the same target. They stumble upon each other and the most entertaining fashion (for the readers). The verbal play between Ward and Tasha is great and then when Ford throws in his opinions it makes for a fun read.
The action in the story gets your blood pumping and the intimacy between Ward and Tasha hot! If you are looking for a romantic suspense series with edge of your seat action and sexy romance, give the Bad Boys Undercover a read and start with Running Hot!
