I actually really really liked this book. And I must admit to being a bit sceptical, as I find Marilyn Duckworth's books (actually the one I did try to read) difficult, her poetic style means you have to translate as you go, and the book I tried to read wasn't set in real life particularly, which I personally find difficult. Anyway, this being her memoir, I really enjoyed. It's so well written and her life has so far been very interesting. Worth a read, and it did make me feel like I might be ready to pick up a pen or laptop again soon and start writing, which would be a great outcome! So yes as far as biographies memoirs etc go - definitely worth it!
