I read this book as soon as it came out, as one of my colleagues and friends - Clint Babcock contributed a chapter to it. This is an excellent book for a strategy when using LinkedIn. Unlike many of the other social media networks, LinkedIn is one that you might need a book to explain how you can maximize your use of it. Why? Because unlike the other social networks you can live without, LinkedIn is essential for business as an owner, or for sales and marketing. I learned many tips, ans although LinkedIn changes rapidly, its still extremely helpful.

Hi, I'm Naeema Fox. As a marketing and advertising startup company, I really used most of the tips in this book today. I've actually repositioned myself from being nowhere to be found to the 1st page in the search section. I've learned and applied a lot of the tips. I recommend this book to all of the #IdeaCafeMasterminds. My next goal is to get to 500+ connections, put in more content and rev up my brand with the help of my facebook and LinkedIn connections.

I actually quite enjoyed this book, which was my first “LinkedIn” specific book. The tips shared were quite eye-opening, at least for a newbie like me, even if some were somewhat questionable e.g. being a LinkedIn open networker (LION) where you pretty much add strangers to your network ran contrary to what I believed in. I will probably follow this genre a little more (e.g. optimising my LinkedIn profile as tactically much of this makes sense) having read this book.

Looking to up your game and use of LinkedIn? I would be surprised if you didn't learn at five new things about how to maximize your use of LinkedIn. I saw results in just reading and implementing with the first 4 chapters.

Useful for the novice. Received some nice pointers & reminders around headlines & reaching out to people. Four, possibly five star, for a beginner.
