I love these cowboys in Shotgun Ridge!! I am enjoying the citizens of this small Montana town, such a loving community. This is a surprise baby story that has an instant attraction between the baby daddy Ethan and Dora the best friend of the baby's dead mother. There is a slow burn between then because he is the town playboy who never plays on marriage or commitment. She is a preacher's daughter and doesn't think he is good enough. I enjoyed the love develope as these two got to know each other and were each surprised. Good story with lots of heat and great characters. Looking forward to the next in the series.

It’s true you can go into a situation with a plan… only to get swept off your feet and taken in a different direction. Very rough when it’s the first time you fall head over heels in love. Whew, good thing Ethan fell in love with Dora too. Such a darling story! 5 Stars

The old guys of Shotgun Ridge are at it again - trying to get unattached women with children to come to Shotgun Ridge to marry the potential bachelors of the area to save the town's population. Enter Dora Watkins with baby Katie, the daughter of Dora's best friend who passed away. Katie's father is Ethan Callahan, the next bachelor up on the chopping block called the Bachelor's Auction. He is totally shocked to find out he is actually Katie's father - but Callahans take care of their own and he steps right up as her father. He soon falls for little Katie and cannot imagine loosing her to anyone. Now Dora cannot stop loving Katie either and she is soon falling for Ethan as well. Will he realize that they can become a family before it is too late and Dora has to leave with her heart in tatters. This is really an emotional book but has lots of giggles thrown in as these unconventional two via for this child. Their feelings soon spiral out of control for each other but the question is will Ethan realize that he is "good enough" for Dora for the rest of his life amd not let her leave. Mindy Neff never fail to satisfy your romantic side. This book has twists and turns and is a must read. Sinful and sexy both! It has hot passion, tenderness, hunger, sweetness and most of all encompassing love! Highly recommend it.

WONDERFUL BOOK!!!!
This story has it all..... It was very funny, very romantic, very sweet and heartwarming! An absolutely perfect love story!!! I loved when Ethan was looking after Katie and diapering her.... It was hilarious.... I laughed and laughed at the scenes where he was learning to look after her. It brought back a lot of memories. I loved Dora! What a beautiful character she was. She captured my heart.... I know she was just a character in a book but the way Mindy Neff described her, and all the characters actually, it made you feel like they were real people. I am so grateful that I found this author.... She writes the most wonderful stories.... They are relaxing to read, low on angst, and peopled with characters you would love to meet and know!!! I highly recommend this book... You will be So glad you read it.😊

Chaos comes to Shotgun Ridge
Big sigh for the fantasy life! He has plenty of money, she has a huge trust fund but all that money can't buy love! The old geezers known as the Musketeers have met their match trying to get Ethan to notice Dora. Its going to take a lot more than money to unravel Ethan's heart. I loved the beginning at the bachelor auction with what I'm beginning to recognize as Mindy Neff's signature humor. Laugh out loud, talk to yourself or big chuckles- it's all fun! Then comes baby Katie and the warm heart tugs begin. I couldn't put it down!

Ethan's misconceptions about Dora because she happened to be a preacher's daughter were a little goofy.
I love the way he took to Katie so easily and committed so quickly. The romance between Ethan and Dora was sweet and sexy. I liked Dora's attitude although I was a bit hesitant about it at the very beginning.

A plot to get more women and babies in a town with a lot of bachelors and a stubborn bachelor named Ethan. Bring in Katy an adorable 1 year old and a highly sexy and year a preachers daughter. This was such a cute but intriguing story to read. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone with a heart.

Loved this story...
The characters are so real..love the dialogue between all of them...this is an author who makes you feel real good while reading her story..every time I put it down, I couldn’t wait to pick it up again..fantastic storyline!❤️❤️

Liked the premise but I ended up skimming through this as I wasn't engaged by the writing style and the 'Miss Prim' moniker used in the title wasn't really reflected in the book. My favourite part was the baby and why I've given it 2 stars.

I enjoyed this book however I think it got a bit sidetracked with baby Katie at times.
