Stand-alone: Duet- Sins and Lies
Author: Sienna Snow

‘... it was time to reclaim my role as the Angelos, Godmother of the syndicate. I’d destroyed my enemies once through calm, cold calculation and would do it again.
But this time, I would claim their power as collateral

Sin and Betrayal will need to be read before Sin and Deception. This duet is fueled by angst, dark and soul crushing. The cliffy in Sin and Deception had my wheels turning and the wait for this book had me jonesing hardcore. I don’t know that I fully recovered from the grip this story had on me. The maze and intricacies of this story. Plus, the added inclusion from previous books brings back some much loved FMC’s. This story does not hold the angst the way the first book did. It’s there, but it did not overwhelm me this time around. This book was all about solidifying their relationship. And, this time around we get Theo and Xander in a way we didn’t last time. Their time together without Nerine brings them closer as they lean on one another. When they come back together there is a balance to their relationship that was not there before. I’m hoping Sienna has books planned for the sisters. Because I would love a glimpse of anything to come in the future for this triad.

The story picks up two years after Nerine has been kidnapped. She is living in Las Vegas working as a data analyst for SinCity Distillery living a lowkey life far from her mother and sisters. Scattered all over hiding from their enemies. Leaving Theo and Xander behind was part of the plan to protect all she loved.

Until her sister Fiona, an avid reader, decides to pen her own book. A dark, mafia romance that has become a viral sensation.

Theo has taken over as Godfather of the Night for the Angelos Syndicate with Xander as his right hand man. They have been defending their territory protecting the Angelos family.

Unlike the last time they lost Nerine, this time they have been brought closer to one another. They shared a deep love for one another. But, there is still a piece missing for them both.

Then Xander comes across the book.

After two years of searching high and low they find their Angel. But, they are not the only ones who have been looking for Nerine.

All they want is to help Nerine reclaim her place as the leader of her family’s empire.

But, first they want answers.

Nerine’s kidnapping was to keep her safe and she stayed away to protect the men she loved.

Because there was so much more to the long lasting feud that claimed so many innocent lives.

Now they must stand united, with some much needed support, to break free of the cycle of violence and revenge.
Because the well being of their family and their future together depended on it.

Sin & Deception
This is book 2 of the Sin & Lies duet and should not be read before book 1, Sin & Betrayal.
Book 1 definitely left us with the dreaded cliffhanger, but it was worth it to see how Nerine, Xander, and Theo manage to get their happy ending. Two years have passed since that cliffhanger and we are seeing how Nerine hid her true self while trying to protect her family and her men. Theo and Xander have never stopped looking for their Queen and when they all find each other again, it’s off the charts. While the heat level is intense, it doesn’t detract from the beautiful love story the three of them share. We see how much Nerine has grown and matured here. She becomes the strong woman she was meant to be and no longer the fearful girl we saw last.. Xander and Theo prove their devotion to her and each other as well. They find a different woman than when they last saw her, but the connection all three share is no match for any obstacles.
This book is full of secrets and mystery, but also steam and romance. Definitely worth the wait.
If you are looking for a dark mafia romance, grab this duet today.
Sienna has long been a favorite of mine and each book seems to get better than the last.
I received an advance reader's copy but leave this review willingly.

wow amazing book

Nerine is definitely tough as nails and a girl you don’t want to mess with. Funny how a book can give clues as to a persons whereabouts. This book had tons of action and tons of steam. Not only that but secrets revealed and some unaliving I wasn’t expecting . Being trained by devani , nerine is hardcore. This book was amazing and I loved the ending couldn’t have asked for a better one.

Sin & Deception by Sienna Snow ARC Review

Nerine is a force to be reckoned with. Her story is captivating. The love she shows to the ones she loves knows no bounds. I loved reading her story and seeing her evolve into such a strong woman. This book had plenty of twists and turns, but was worth it!

Book 1 ends on a MAJOR cliffhanger. I was shook. Jaw on the floor.

I flew through this book. I was so invested in their story (Nerine is FMC and then Theo and Xander are the MMCs). They have been through so much and just when they thought everything was good, it got shaken up again.

Nerine and her family mysteriously go missing at the end of book 1 and this book begins 2 years later. Theo and Xander still have no clue where she is but are determined to find her.

Nerine has been through so much and I loved seeing how determined and strong she is. This duet is an easy 5/5 for me!

The story picks up two years after events of Sin and Betrayal with Nerine Angelos and her family scattered with no idea who they could trust, hiding from anyone who would try to possess her in an attempt to lay claim to her birthright. The two men in her life Xander and Theo had no idea of whether their angel was alive or dead let alone where she was until her sister wrote a book that was a little too close to Nerine’s life and it wasn’t long before both friend and foe were hot on her trail. It was just a case of who would reach her first, but a lot had happened in the intervening years as Xander and Theo were about to discover.

In Sin and Deception Nerine really came into her own. She knew exactly who she was and she owned knowing what had to be done to end hostilities once and for all, and even as those close to her were shocked by her decision she had more reason than ever to make it clear to her enemies what they would face if they ever attacked her family again. If the first half of her story was full of pain, angst and betrayal, then this book was full of strength, love and loyalty as she claimed her rightful place as head of the family. The one place she yielded control or showed any vulnerability was in the bedroom with some seriously hot encounters with her men once they got past their rage over her disappearance from their lives that was. The chemistry between this thruple was palpable and wasn’t just restricted to mfm but mm as well. In a gripping story with all the drama and suspense you could want and appearances from some familiar characters, Devani you are still the ultimate badass, Nerine showed that the Angelos princess had become a queen worthy of her crown as the Godmother of the Night.

An edge of your seat read

What you can expect:

After the cliffhanger of Sin & Betrayal I couldn't wait for SIN and DECEPTION, the conclusion to Sienna Snow's Sin & Lies duet.

Two years have passed since Nerine disappeared, and Theo and Xander have no idea where she could b, though they still believe she is alive and haven't stopped looking for her. Life still goes on though, and there have been constant power struggles among all the families. Nerine is in hiding, her reasons are valid, protecting her family is important to her. She lives in a constant state of fear that she will be discovered, and that fear is realized when her sister writes a book which puts her and her family in more danger. What will happen when Theo and Xander learn the truth behind Nerine's disappearance? What will their reaction be to the secret she has been keeping?

From the beginning this book was non-stop action, the suspense, the tension, the twists and turns, ensuring the reader was always engaged. The chemistry, connection, and spice between Nerine, Theo, and Xander are all off the charts. The three of them grow as characters, especially emotionally. Nerine's reason for disappearing had my mouth dropping to the floor, which was way out of left field.

Sienna Snow's writing had me constantly on the edge of my seat, the development of the characters was sublime, and the storyline was completely addictive. The Sin & Lies duet is an absolute MUST READ>

Two years after the events of the first book, Nerine has been living in hiding, doing everything she can to keep her family safe. Meanwhile, Theo and Xander, the men who have always been her protectors and lovers, never stop searching for her. But when her sister’s dark mafia romance novel goes viral, Nerine’s cover is blown, and both her enemies and her devoted men are on the hunt. What follows is an intense, twist-filled ride that will keep you turning pages late into the night.

The chemistry between Nerine, Theo, and Xander is sizzling hot—there’s so much passion, so much love, and so much heartache. These three characters have come a long way since the first book. Nerine, once hiding behind a wall of fear, has grown into a fierce, resilient woman who will do anything to protect her family. And Xander and Theo? Their devotion to Nerine is unmatched, making them the ultimate swoon-worthy heroes.

This book has it all: suspense, romance, spicy moments, and a plot full of twists that you won’t see coming. The pacing is perfect, keeping the action flowing while allowing for moments of reflection and growth for the characters. While some parts felt rushed, overall, this book is a powerful conclusion to an unforgettable duet.

If you’re a fan of dark romance, suspense, and intense character dynamics, you NEED to start this duet right now. Trust me, you won’t regret it! The stakes are higher, the tension is thicker, and the payoff is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend "Sin and Deception"—an explosive ending to a dark, twisted, and beautifully emotional story.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the second book in the Sin and Lies series. You have to read Sin and Betrayal first or you will not know what is going on in this book. If you have read that one you know that we got left on a big cliff wondering what in the world happened and our hearts broken for Xander and Theo. Now two years and passed and we know where Nerine is but they don't. The girl was trying her best to prepare herself I do believe for what she knew would be coming. Claiming a birthright would be hard. You're born into it and have not choice really. But the guys have been doing an amazing job taking care of everything but they want Nerine back. They haven't stopped looking and thanks to a book they just might be on the right trail. I loved how we got a book that has so much growth to it. I loved seeing Nerine glowing and living in her power. The guys are absolutely amazing in the support and love they give Nerine and I didn't think it was possible to love these characters more than I already did. But I was wrong. There is a lot going on in this book and I don't want to give a thing away. But I will say if you have been waiting for this book it is so well worth the wait. I devoured it and was so thrilled with the story conclusion that we got.

"You don't get to run, Nerine. Not from us"

"The Sins of the father fall on the son. Isn't that how it goes?"

I was sooo happy to be back in this world!!!

I absolutely adore these characters and with the way book 1 ended 😱 I couldn't wait to get into this!!

There's hurt and betrayal that you feel with your soul!

Nerine thought she was doing what was best for family ... they did not agree.

This book starts with a bang (no pun intended 🤣🤣)

I really felt Theo and Xanders pain throughout, and ergh it hurt my heart! 🥺 They had every right to be angry after everything that had happened... it's 2 years after Sin and Betrayal...there's questions that need answering.... alot of questions ...

There's tension ... sooo much tension 😬

Nerine really came into her own in this book and stood her ground! (Most the time 😅)

The trauma and angst had me holding my breath at times... I will always have a soft for these men 😍

The Spice was absolutely 🔥🔥🔥

I also LOVED the cameo appearances of a certain few characters 😍😍 makes me want to re-read those books 🥰

Sienna really had me going a few times with the twists and turns, and I wanted to throw my Kobo a couple of times .... but I loved it!

If you love ....

Finally! We get some answers and can I tell you, this story is worth the wait.

Nerine, Theo, and Zander are meant to be, but dammit, the obstacles they have to get through is exciting and exhausting all in one.

This book picks up after book 1 (must read that first to follow along).,Nerine is in hiding and the men are running things for her…like they have been doing since they were kids, they’re taking care of the family business while also looking for Nerine. Every time it looks like they may be able to build something, an obstacle gets in the way, her enemies. When her sister Fiona tempts fate, it’s time that Theo and Zander find Nerine before the others do, but it’s been years now, she isn’t the same woman she was when they were last together, can they rekindle what they had?is there connection strong enough to build on now that trust is broken?

I waited for this book and it did not disappoint. I have never wanted a couple (or throuple) to get together and finally stick it to the enemies before in my life. All of the twists and turns the book took you on lead up to the final HEA and it’s worth the trip.

This is book two of this series, told in multiple first person POV and leaves you with a HEA. This book needs to be read after book one, Sin and Betrayal.

In the cliffhanger of Sins and Betrayal, my mind wouldn’t stop reeling on trying to figure it. Even months later, I would find myself going back and thinking about it. The more I thought, the more I started putting the pieces together and couldn’t figure out the “why” of the scenario I came up with. With this book I got my answer. And let me say, I didn’t see the answer coming. I loved it!

I loved watching Nerine mature and grow as an individual. I loved getting to see a side of Xander and Theo that we didn’t get to see in book one. I was excited to see the other characters of book one make appearances and/or be updated on their lives.

This book didn’t have me on the edge of my seat the whole time like book one did, but I still found myself saying “just one more chapter” until there were no chapters left. I do hope that the Nerine’s sisters get books of their own because I can’t get them all out of my head either and trying to figure out how their lives would be if they did. I have enjoyed many of Sienna Snow’s books and I’m so excited for what’s to come. I received an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is book two of a duet. The first book is a must read to follow the story and you won’t be sorry. This book picks up two years after the first one ends. Nerine is still missing. Theo and Xander are hellbent on bringing home their girl. This book is full of spice in all the right places, action and intrigue in all the others. It makes for a recipe of a delicious story that you will just eat right up! ~Helen

"Book 2 in the Sin and Lies series did not disappoint. Nerine, Theo and Xander have a long complicated past (you must read Book 1 before Book 2). When Nerine disappeared, Xander and Theo never gave up hope that they would find Nerine. Fast forward 2 years. Nerine is now living in Las Vegas, and her location has been compromised. Theo and Xander intend to bring their lover home, but there are a few surprises along the way.

I enjoyed watching Nerine take her place at the table along with Theo and Xander. This is a fast paced, page turning, spicy story that will leave you on the end of the seat til the end. This is a story of owning your birthright and forging your own way to love. " ~Cindy

This book picks up 2 years after the cliffhanger ending in the first book. You must read the first book to read this one.

Nerine Angelos and her family are scattered, unsure of who they could trust. Xander and Theo, the two men who love her, have no idea if she is alive or dead—until her sister published a book that hit a little too close to reality. Soon, both allies and enemies were closing in. The only question was: who would find her first? But in the years since their separation, much had changed, and Xander and Theo were about to find out just how much.

With gripping drama, intense suspense, and the return of familiar faces, Sin and Deception delivers everything you could want in a thrilling, high-stakes story.

Nerine truly comes into her own in this book. She knows exactly who she is and embraces the weight of her responsibilities, determined to end the cycle of violence once and for all. Claiming her rightful place as the head of the Angelos family, she proves she is no longer just a princess—she is a queen.

Thank you so much to Sienna Snow and Literally Yours PR for the ARC.

Sin and Deception is book two of the Sin and Lies duet and picks up two years after Nerine Angelos (FMC) and her mom and three sisters were kidnapped. Once the story opens you'll learn what happened during that two year gap.

Theo and Xander (MMCs) have been trying to find out who took Nerine and where she is while running the Angelos Syndicate for Nerine in her absence. The love her but are also mad and frustrated.

Theo and Xander locate Nerine but what ends up leading them to her comes from an unlucky source and that lead sends enemies to search for Nerine as well. Now it's time for Theo and Xander to protect their Angel and they don't plan to ever let her go again.

This book was really good. The reader got to understand exactly why Nerine was taken and by who and why she stayed in hiding with all the little details because it wasn't one reason. There were several reasons for all of it and Sienna Snow did a masterful job laying it all out.

The ending was perfect too!! We can only hope for future stories with Nerine's sisters.

Sin and Deception is the final book of the duet series Sin and Lies by Sienna Snow.

The book starts two years after the Sin and Betrayal book ends. Nerine Angelos and family do not know who they can trust and are hiding from everyone as they figure out how to claim her birthright. The loves of life Theo and Xander do not know if she is alive or dead.

Nerine shines in this book and she claims her voice. She takes charge and this surprises everyone. She takes charge of letting her enemies know what will happen to them if they attack her family. Her guys find her and their relationship is as 🔥🔥🔥ever. The book is full drama, pain, angst, and betrayal – however, we get to see Nerine become the “queen.”

⭐⭐⭐️/5 Plot
🌶️🌶🌶.5/5 Spicy
💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾/5 Characters

You definitely need to read book one before this.

Nerine girl, I'm jealous of you, specifically for your boys, lol. I did enjoy this book, but you're probably looking at the rating and confused about what happened. Let's start with the positives. We finally get answers about what is happening, and we are stuck on a journey of constant twists and turns. This book is wonderfully fast-paced and highly spicy, which is a huge benefit. My one and only con is the fact that the main female character,
even though she is powerful and independent, has an inner monologue that is extremely repetitive. I don't mind points being reviewed, but having the same thoughts repeatedly in multiple chapters became a little frustrating. It almost turns me off from continuing to read. But the plot was so good, and I needed to know where this was going, what is happening next and if we found who we were looking for. Overall, I enjoyed it, and I would recommend it. Also, Theo, that man is so fine. I love a good FMM/MFM moment.

Sin and Deception is the second book in the 'Sin and Lies' duet so you must read Sin and Betrayal before you start this book so you know what is going on. We pick the story up where the cliffhanger of the first book ended and we see where Nerine, Theo and Xander are currently in their mafia world. The complex story that was weaved in the first book continues as you try to work out who can Nerine really trust and how it will all come to an end. Filled with tension, drama, suspense and a whole lot of spice this is a mafia read that will have you on the edge of your seat. I found myself so irritated with one of the characters and found her actions to be a little hard to understand due to the world they were born into however, I overlooked this as I loved the dynamic between Nerine and her two wonderfully possessive men, Theo and Xander. I loved the epilogue's at the end and thought they were a lovely touch to this dark mafia romance duet!!!

Sin and Deception is the continuation of Nerine, Theo and Xander’s romance and the conclusion to the Sin and Lies duet by Sienna Snow. We find out what has happened since the shocking ending of Sin and Betrayal. This is full of twists and turns as secrets and truths are revealed, unfinished business sorted out and revenge dealt with. Bound by Sin, Betrayed by Love.

Two years ago Xander and Theo awoke to find all five Angelos women missing. Even though warned not to attempt to find Nerine, they have been searching for their Angel ever since. As head of the Angelos Syndicate they have faced numerous challenges and want her back in her rightful place. They hate not knowing if she’s still alive as they can’t face life without her. Nerine feels guilty for disappearing with no explantation but is positive their love will find a way for them to be together again. It was the hardest decision she’d ever made but enduring two years without their love and support was worse. She hopes they will understand when they know all the reasons why she’d changed her life to protect everyone she loves.

Things explode when her sister Fiona writes a dark Mafia romance book and takes secrets and events from Nerine life which could endanger them all. The book leads Theo and Xander to her and their intense reunion is full of passion and desire. It turns out she is keeping a huge secret so will they hate her when they discovered the truth? She fights and banters with Theo whereas Xander is the peacemaker but both protective and loyal to her. Things become desperate when their enemies close in on them .

Can she fulfil her role and accept her legacy or will their enemies win the battle when old debts and revenge for past mistakes takes hold. I loved how she embraces being in charge but allows the guys to rule the roost in the bedroom. Their bond is more than sexual and all three have a role in their relationship even though it changes during the story.

“The sins of the father fall on the son.”

More betrayal and twists and turns as she has uncovered shocking and disturbing revelations. Can they break the cycle of violence and the quests for revenge. Can they finally be together as a family? Will she be a confident and determined leader they know she can be….the Queen of the Angelos Mafia.

The author skilfully builds the tension throughout the story as danger comes from all sides. A great thrilling and steamy ending to the duet.

OMG!

Sin and Deception is book 2 in the Sin and Lies series and what a start! This series must be read in order since the cliffhanger at the end of book 1, Sin and Betrayal, was intense and left me on the edge of my seat waiting for this next book.

Sin and Deception picks up with the fierce and unpredictable relationships of Nerine, Theo and Xander and I could not be happier to learn all the secrets, lies and deception that flow effortlessly in this amazing and creative mafia storyline.

The Sin and Lies series has a deep friends and family element, a whole lot of intrigue and plenty of spice to satisfy any reader who loves a dark mafia, ménage book with morally grey yet loveable characters who have a raw, unpredictable and sometimes violent ethos. There is lots of excitement and an HEA for the throuple, but I really hope Sienna thinks about writing more books about the other Angelos Sisters! I recommend!

Sometimes what a person needs most is to be forgiven...

Nerine, Godmother of the Angelos Mafia was a different woman 2 years later after she left the loves of her life Theo and Xander. When she disappeared Theo and Xander were devastated and never gave up looking for her. They got a break when Nerine's sister wrote a book that was too close to Nerine's real life. As well as Theo and Xander wanting to find their Angel, there were many others who wanted her too.

When Nerine finally faces both men, she attempts to explain why she had to be leave them. They are both happy and relieved to see her, but her betrayal and lack of trust in them could prove to be the end of them.

Their story will take you on a wild ride filled with suspense, angst and massive amounts of action. Their chemistry has not faltered, but will it be enough for the three of them to regain what they had together. It was everything I had hoped for and so much more.

“Sin and Deception” continues where the previous book, “Sin and Betrayal“ left off although two years have passed. The story picks up with Nerine and where she is now in her life. Once again, there are plenty of twists and turns. Just when I thought I had things worked out, along would come something to knock those thoughts off course and cause me to re-evaluate everything.
The book sees Nerine really growing into her role as head of the Angelos family and displaying quite a unique skill set. Xander and Theo are still present in her life and the sizzling chemistry between them remains sky high. I’d forgotten just how dangerous and powerful those two men can be!
I had to smile at the inclusion of a mafia style book which then sets off a series of events. There’s also danger, suspense, surprises, family bonds as well as the previously mentioned twists.
Book 1, “Sin and Betrayal” will definitely need to be read first.

Thank you for the early copy.

I have been waiting for this book since book 1, and believe me when I heard it was coming I ran and leaped for it...I'm pretty sure I knocked my cat off the couch to get my stuff...lol. Now, reading this unbelievably juicy gem was worth every minute of waiting. The storyline was perfection; it had suspense, thrills, romance, spice, and angst. Nerine was a queen; she had grown in ways that she needed to - a strong, resilient, and 'don't mess with her family' woman. It was beautiful to read. And, then there was Xander and Theo; wow, what love they showed and had for Nerine was immeasurable. To be that devoted, big swoon from me. They were bad@$$, never stopping their search, never giving up, I've fallen all in love with them again. This book was the icing on the cake to this duet and an absolute page-turner. You won't put it down once you start! I highly recommend you start this duet now!

This is the second book in the Sin and Lies series and it does not disappoint. You need to read book one, Sin and Betrayal, prior to this book so you know the back story. This book picks up two years after Nerine and her family were kidnapped from Theo and Xander. They never gave up hope of finding her, hopefully alive. Nerine is hiding in plain sight in Las Vegas with a new look, new job but her location has been compromised. Thanks to her sister, Fiona, who decided to write a book about Nerine's love life, many people are now after her. Theo and Xander don't know why she has been gone for so long but they just want her back. There are some good twists and turns as well as surprises in this story that keeps you reading to the very last page. Enjoy!!

I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.

Book 2 gives us the greatest trio one more time! Book 1 ended on a massive cliffhanger and had us wondering what had happened to Nerine!

Theo and Xander have taken upon themselves to keep the Angelos legacy going even though they are still wondering what could have happened to Nerine. When we learn the reason behind her disappearance my jaw was on the floor!!!

The story and connection between all three characters is truly from another world. It was hard to imagine book 2 would be as engaging as the first book but it exceeded my expectations, it was even more spicy than before and had even more drama. I enjoyed Nerine’s character development and how she transitioned from “shy” girl in book 1 to the queen she was always meant to be.

My heart is full now that she had her HEA after all the struggles she had to endure.

Tropes:
* Dark romance
* MM
* MFM
* Spicy
* Mafia romance

It's important to read "Sin and Betrayal" before diving into this one, just to get the full picture. This book picks up with Nerine having been on the run for two years, and the story focuses on what happens when she's found. The book does a good job of showing how much Theo and Xander care for her, even though they're initially angry.
The story unfolds with a lot of emotional moments, and it's clear that there are reasons for Nerine's disappearance that no one else knows. As the truth comes out, the characters have to deal with the consequences. The book shows how Nerine and her family are valued, even in difficult circumstances.
The writing is straightforward and easy to follow, and the story keeps you engaged. It's a story about relationships, secrets, and how people deal with the truth.

Amazingly enthralling, the saga continues as Nerine continues to hide deeply in order to protect her family. Two years into her hiding , Xander and Theo are still convinced she’s alive and they haven’t stopped searching for her. Power struggles are still at their highest amongst the organizations and Nerine’s life is still threatened in every way. Her secret reason for leaving Xander and Theo behind is still unrevealed to them but will soon be revealed when they finally find her. Again, this book has it all, the twists & turns you don’t see coming, the assaults, the over the charts chemistry between Nerine, Xander and Theo that will instantly melt your panties , making this reading a very compelling one. A bright and dark mafia you’ll definitely enjoy and there’s a lot more coming !

It was so good to get back into this series especially after we were left hanging after the ending of the first book but it was well worth the wait as we catch up with Nerine, Theo and Xander. This book was jam packed with so much drama and suspense and we truly are on the edge of our seats throughout this journey. The mafia world is very complex at the best of times but when you add in all other aspects of life you have to wonder who you can trust and that is the case for Nerine. The never ending sparks are ever present and they will not fade but now Nerine, Theo and Xander have to get back to their previous status quo and once again become the strong trio they have always been. I loved the characters and enjoyed the story very much. Sienna Snow has delivered a fast paced, hot and spicy book that will tempt your taste buds and keep you entranced.

We're back with Nerine, Theo and Xander
in Sin And Deception. It picks up where Sin And Betrayal left off and it starts off with fireworks! Unaware of the reasons behind Nerines 2 year disappearance, these guys are furious with her! This story and these characters are absolutely phenomenal! As the truth unfolds, truths come out, and secrets are revealed, it just brings that much more drama to the table for all of them. Nerine evolves beautifully into the Queen she was meant to be alongside her Kings and nothing nor anyone will topple them. This author brought us an ending to their journey almost as epic as
the journey itself with bonus epilogues that wrapped their story up perfectly
This is absolutely, 100% a must read duet!

Book 2 in the Sin and Lies Duet starts off two years after the cliffhanger ending of book 1. The storyline was so fascinating that once I started I really could not put this book down. When Nerine and her family disappeared two years ago Theo and Xander never stopped looking for them. Immediately we find out the reason, so it was the anticipation of Theo and Xander finding out was what heightened the reading experience for me. But along with this, there were so many more secrets to be revealed and there were some doozies.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Their story really showed how strong their bond was and I absolutely loved that for all of them. What was also great was to see so many character mentions from previous series, so much so that I may want to do some re-reads!
