Not a lot of substance here. The artwork is beautiful, and is probably the strongest attribute of the series. The story’s fine, but I was left wanting so much more. I wouldn’t recommend this series.

it focuses on setting up Henry's dillema before the concept happens.

Huh… the black box of magic is a bland deus ex machina that apparently kicks off the whole adventure but it was just so random & odd an occurrence that I’m not getting on board. Really like the relationship with mom & the depiction of her care home though…

Art is really solid, but there's not quite enough story here yet to suck me in.
