Amelia's life is in ruins. After narrowly escaping her psychotic ex and the traumatic aftermath of losing her family in a fire, she finds herself aimlessly wandering to find a new place for herself. On a cold Halloween night, Amelia stumbles upon a maze where she meets Dominik and Greyson, enigmatic twins who exude danger and allure and awaken desires she never knew she had. Drawn to the thrill of being chased, Amelia finds herself inexplicably attracted to the sinister charm of the twins. Dominik and Greyson, well-known socialites with a hidden penchant for the macabre, introduce her to a world where fear and desire intertwine.

As Amelia surrenders her mind, body, and soul to them, she discovers a dark part of herself she never knew existed. As their connection deepens, Amelia finds herself entangled in a passionate and unconventional relationship with both Dominik and Greyson. Despite the passion and protection the twins offer, the fear of societal judgment drives Amelia to flee. But Dominik and Greyson are not ones to let go easily, and they pursue her relentlessly, ready to punish her for running away. In the shadows, a more sinister threat loomed, and this time, running was no longer an option. Amelia had to become the hunter or lose everything she had left. With the support of her new friends and her two monsters, Amelia decides it's time to stop running. Embracing the darkness within, she transforms from prey to predator, determined to end the nightmare once and for all.

Masked men, chase scene, mystery, thriller, taboo and dark pasts collide! This spicy novel takes us into the thick of it and the looming spooky presence of a stalker. Healing and themes of mental health battles and an author who absolutely knows how to write both! This book slayed!

sorry sorry I just can't do present 1st tense.
"It's currently my favorite holiday of the year, outside of my birthday." for some reason just hit me in just the wrong way.

I did like the vibe thus far though!

Why choose.. twins... AND a Halloween maze chase.. ?! SOLD.

I was so excited to read this book based off the fact that this is a why choose. But I walked away with such appreciation for how trauma and mental health were so carefully explored and written. I also think that this is the first time that I have read (or recall reading) a book where a main character has BPD. Having been diagnosed when I was 18/19, it was such a trip to see such deep parts that I was able to relate to written down.

Dominik or Greyson... now that is the question. I am still not able to decide which of the twins I like more. I think that it is incredibly unfair that we are forced to choose only 1 persons in real life. Cause the way I would be the first person to sign up to have my guts rearranged by the both of them... lol

I NEED MORE GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE!

Absolutely loved this book. I absolutely love the boys, and of course the added element of them being twins. 😏 While yes, they are twins, they truly were their own characters and I love them both for so many different reasons. This book started off with heat, and then things got crazy real fast. The author did this thing I hadn’t seen before where you get chapter viewpoints from the villain, and let me tell you, I wanted to throw my kindle. The rage was real lol. I loved how the characters dealt with their mental health and supported each other. I felt the k!nk scenes were handled very well as well. Grey and Dom are my babies, and no you can’t have them. K byeeee. Actually wait, let me tell you to make sure you read this first. Okay, now bye. 🤭

I loved the relationship dynamic between the MFC Amelia and the MMCs Dominic and Greyson. I loved watching Amelia take a stand and reclaim herself and to stop hiding who and what she wants.

I love that consent was so important in this book and highlighted time and again. What kinda annoyed me while reading was the incredibly fast pacing and how unrealistic the whole interaction with the police/FBI seemed. Why would they pay for a makeover? Sure, I can maybe see the hair salon for the sake of baiting, but renting out a tattoo parlor and paying for not only her but also the twins? It felt so out of place.
The ending was a little anticlimactic to me as well, it somehow didn't hit the spot and wasn't gratifying.

But damn did I enjoy the dynamic between Amelia and her monsters.

The story line of this book had so much potential to become an all time favorite but the author rushed this entire story. It’s one of those books that i read lazily in 48 hours and i probably could have written it in 72… large sections of plot are fade to black; most confusingly, the literal first scene with zero back story. I actually went back several times to make sure i didn’t skip something important but i hadn’t. Instead of drawing out the important parts of the plot to create the true sense of stepping inside the book and witnessing it first hand the entire book feels like you’re reading a book sample of a larger novel. I thought i had mistaken it as a novella but it’s not. It sucks because this author knows how to write, you see it in her eloquence but she has seemingly no knowledge of how to structure a storyline which is so important. 5 stars for the content and five stars for the eloquence but unfortunately the book should have been doubly as lengthy and in much more drawn out detail. This sucks to write because I saw ALOT of myself in Amelia Blake and so wanted her story to be justified and well cared for. I still think it’s worth the read as a small time killer. Much love and success to the author.

Whew 😪 this book had such incredible mental health rep that I feel is often overlooked and underdeveloped. The way Evie talks about mental health in this book in a way that’s not just like text book but is how it feels is amazing. I loved the twins I love the characters I love that they all grow in the book and more than I was expecting too it’s not all surface level. I love the spice I think it was executed perfectly where it wasn’t overwhelming and the plot didn’t get lost.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It had great characters, great suspense, good spice & a story line that built up and kept you eager for more. The author knew how to set it up at the end and tug on our heart strings. Can't wait to read what comes next for these three.

This book has so much potential but just… what??? It was rushed and just kind of jumped straight into the story and idk. I just wish she would have taken the time to really write out the story and make it longer instead of making it a shorter story.
