A place so dangerous, most consider it suicide to step foot there. It is the den of city-devouring monsters and prana so thick most succumb to the toxic air alone. Once inside, there is no escape.
And Ekavir, seeking ultimate power, has just entered it.
Hoping to venture to the Demon Realm on the other side, Vir must first brave the vast and dangerous landscape not even his predecessors survived. Even with the most capable guide in all the realms, the journey will test his mettle and force him to push past his limits. Every. Single. Day.
Death is the most likely outcome. Should he succeed, however, he will emerge as one of the most powerful beings the realms have ever seen… And he might just uncover long-hidden secrets along the way. Secrets that could forever alter the future of humans and demonkind alike.
Book 3 in the action-packed Ashborn Primordial series, where epic fights, power progression, and political intrigue await!
What a great litRPG. As Vir, and Cirayus reach the Abyssal Flats, it's time for Vir to get to crackin' and grind. To increase his strength and ability to contain and use Ash prana (magic). That is until Vir ends up in the legendary city of the Gods Mahādi, the training doesn't stop there though, but becomes so much more. While Maiyan is still training to be a handmaiden for the Princess Ira. She's given a job to infiltrate the cult of the Children of the Ash. Even though Maiyan's moments in the book are few, the influence she exudes changes everything for Vir! And hey, what's that black streak? Is it following them? So yeah go grab the book and enjoy. I really gotta say I totally missed getting to listen to Heath Miller's buttery voice performance but when it's a choice between reading the book now or waiting for the audiobook, there isn't a choice at all!!! Grak, who am I kidding, I'm gonna happily listen to the audiobook once it's released!
Too often I’ve read progression fantasy that tells and doesn’t show and always lets its MCs win or have amazing plot armor. Here, the plot armor isn’t too impenetrable, and leaves enough weakness for the reader to be intrigued and want to keep going. I’ll definitely keep following.
Another great instalment to the series. Looking forwardd to book 4. Vir and co 's development as characters is progressing brilliantly can't wait to see what happens in the demon realm
This book is a roller coaster of sorts because there’s tons of adventure. It’s also nice to see more of Vir’s world getting uncovered. The pacing is good too and there's way more progression in this book than in previous books . Overall, a great read. Looking forward to book 4!
This story of an orphan who thought he wasn’t able to learn magic becoming an absolute beast was a very interesting action packed read that I really enjoyed reading.
