Back with the crew Flint, Jasper, and Gunner
This is book one in the second generation of the club. The children of the OG members. This book brings back great memories of reading about Riley wanting Gunner but she was too young. Gunner is a good man and made Riley wait until she was an adult. Read their book because it’s a good read. This book is about their first born baby girl Leslee. She is definitely feisty and part of both of her parents plus a little bit of Flint’s personality. She is well spoken and strong willed. Leslee took to Hyde as a little girl and no one understood why. Most of the people felt that Hyde was her first crush. Hyde was so young too but always treated the younger children with care, respect, and understanding. As Leslee gets older, Hyde decides to leave and go nomad. He needs time away for his mental health. Leslee finds out and is upset and uncontrollably sobbing. So much so that her parents had to ask Hyde to join them for a going away dinner to placate Leslee. The book has all the OG characters returning plus some drama with the second generation. It’s an easy to read book that has less violence than the first series but remember this is a motorcycle club romance. Read On!

I really tried
I really tried to like this book and I maybe could have gotten over the huge age difference if not for the fact that he was grown up who took care of her when she was a kid. That part just gave me the ick. Just want my thing but the story itself was a good one, which is why I went ahead and gave it four stars.

Hyde
Hyde and Leslee are all grown up. Hyde is a nomad doing the club's business. Something major happens that puts Leslee in grave danger so she is sent away to be under protection. It just so happens that the person who will be protecting her is the man she has been in love with her whole life. She knows that he is meant to be hers. They have a very strong connection that began in Leslee's childhood and his teenage years. He finds himself attracted to the beautiful and young woman. He has to keep his hands to himself or face her father Gunner. Finally Leslee can't stand it anymore and she basically jumps this bones. Once they have consummated their relationship, Hyde claims her as his ol lady. He knows he is going to face a beat down from her dad. But there is a more dangerous threat and they have to flee their hideaway sanctuary. Will the cartel catch up to them? I loved this story and had to read it straight through.

Damn that was crazy!! After everything that Hyde been through he has 2 know putting a stop on a possible future that she wants will b damn near impossible. But when that 2 face traitorous bitch Trinity caused more trouble as usual who is going 2 pay 4 her lies? When shit hits the fan a innocent life was lost but the 1 person that was being blamed falsely will come back stronger than ever and pay backs a bitch 2 anyone standing in her way. Her dad Gunner wants 2 protect her as much as possible but the fact is he'll just have 2 deal with what happens next with his only daughter.lol I loved it can't wait 4 more of the next generation asap!!

I read this story so slowly because I didn't want it to end! Of course I'm going to love a heroine with the same name as me. But she completely blew me away with how awesome she is. She is so sweet and fierce, loving and diabolical! I couldn't love her more if I tried!! There is a scene near the end that had me cackling; don't mess with women named Leslee! Her man, Hyde is a cinnamon roll for her and was everything I could have wished for. This series is one of my favorites and this next generation is off to an incredible start!

This is an incredible and interesting novel of the next northern grizzlies mc. Hyde knew Gunner’s daughter,since she was a child. He finds that after he been gone for ages that Leslee has become a woman. This book has a great story about both the complicated relationship.

Awesome book to the next generation
Hyde and Leslee were made for each other. The only.one who knows that for sure is Leslee. She has made it her life's mission to become Hyde's Ol' Lady. The only thing is Hyde is 18 years older than her. She doesn't see him as that much older. She just sees him as Joe. Her Joe.

great start to a new series.
Amazing start. I love how Merin tells a story and gets you sucked in. I cried and laughed. Was a little mad and then cried some more but I loved this book! Great job

Wow
Man, I love the second generation just as much as the first. Can't wait to see what happens next. Leslee knew what she wanted and went for it, heart, and soul. Hyde just needed to catch up.

All of this authors books are amazing. Each new book seems to get better than the last. I was a bit surprised that these 2 ended up together.
