It's a great lovestory.
It's about Zoë, but she introduced herself as Zara Harrington and Warren Donovan. She ends up in Montana, because she uncovered some stuff in New York as a investigative journalist, she almost got killed and the FBI got her a job as PA for Warren as she needed to lay low.
Warren Donovan was a former bullrider. He got injured years ago and got to live with the aftermath of the incident. Both are damaged souls, but they're finding their way to each others heart.
How their journey to find each other will end, is for you to read.
The story will keep you on the edge of your seat, because it's going to be a lot of twists and turns. And if you're in for some steamy scénes, there's enough of it there in Montana!
And there's a hint for another story in the end. So I'll be waiting for the next story!.

Zoe is a 27 year old sassy and feisty investigative journalist from New York. She stumbled into a dangerous story and is now on the run with the help of the FBI using the name Zara. Warrick is a 34 year old hunky, grumpy, ex-rodeo star, turned cowboy /rancher mountain man after a career ending injury. Zoe is placed with him to be his new personal assistant while he plans a rodeo for the city in Montana. When they end up sharing the same cabin at the Inn, tempers flair. Both are attracted to each other but also irritated. As they spend more time together, though, they realize they have more in common than they thought. Can Zoe stay hidden in Montana? I guess it's just me, but I found the dialog to be very off and cringe. The banter was strange and i couldnt feel a connection between the main characters. The introduction of all of the ranch crew members also felt rushed. Crazy drama and angst with mildly entertaining spice.

Awesome story by the amazing Olivia Reign set in Silver Ridge Mountain. Zoe Hamilton’s only chance of survival is Warrick Donovan a reclusive ex Rodeo Rider turned mountain man . She stumbles onto his property as she’s fleeing from danger. She is supposed to have been protected by the FBI and they placed her in this job, so why has she got armed men after her? She’s his new PA but he mistakes her for a night worker and he thinks her name is Zara. Imagine just doing your job one minute and someone trying to kill you the next. This is what Zoe got for exposing a multi-million dollar medical fraud against the government in her journalism career. When danger grows ever close and one of his ranchers gets attacked and Zoe/ Zara’s car gets trashed things ramp up a notch in the danger department. Soon there’s tension of a different kind in the small cabin as their interactions grow passionately strong and heated with desire and just as their emotional dams are fit to breach, there’s danger that has them out of their reach and risking their lives.Explosive stuff from the pen of Olivia Reign who sets our pulse high again and again. What are the odds? 

Zoe is a whistleblower on the run after someone tried to kill her. To get away from the man who tried to strangle her and who's still at large, she's driven over 2,000 miles to Whispering Pines Inn in Silver Ridge, Montana. She hopes the police and FBI can quickly find the man so her life can go back to normal. Meanwhile, she has to remember her new name is Zara Harrington. The FBI arranged a job for her as Warrick Donovan's PA. 

She's shown to her cabin at the inn, but before she's completely settled in for the night, a man with a key enters the room... There was a mixup with the reservations. With it being the annual Silver Ridge rodeo, the inn is completely filled, and it's the only place in town to stay. Under the circumstances, they decide they'll share the cabin. Her new roommate? None other than Warrick Donovan, her new boss.

Warrick had been a successful professional bull rider until he was thrown, shattering his knee and breaking his leg in multiple places. Since his rodeo career was now over, he returned home to run the ranch. He has ideas that can help not only his ranch but others in the area, but he can't get the proper permits to do so. He thinks it's due to a super rich newcomer on the town council. 

Neither of them planned to fall in love, but they did. Unfortunately, her boss in New York and one of her FBI handlers have been killed. The hitman has followed her to Montana...

Thawing the Heart of Her Grumpy Cowboy -
The first time Zoe and Warrick met didn’t end well, as he made a faux pas, which even though he apologised for, she never let him forget it. Working together meant they spent a lot of time in close proximity, which allowed their attraction for each other to develop and they embarked on a relationship. However, Zoe was keeping a really big secret from him, which she was forced to reveal after and incident made her realise that keeping quiet could put everyone’s lives in danger.

Fortunately, Warrick was able to help Zoe investigate the matter further and involve the authorities, but she still found herself in a dangerous situation, where her quick witted reaction helped save herself, as well as give the authorities a chance to apprehend the suspect. Luckily, Warrick and Zoe got the chance at the future they both deserved once everything was sorted out.

This was an excellent read, that had me enthralled from the beginning, with engaging characters and, witty banter, passionate encounters and a twist in the story that had me on the edge of my seat. If you are looking for your next mind blowing read, then I highly recommend you grab a copy of this book.

This story delivered. The characters had a lot of depth, and the storyline was riveting, full of intrigue and passion.
Zoe, (Zara) was a like-able, strong female lead. Warren was a captivating, strong male lead.

Everything, from the author’s description of the settings, to the dialogue, to the characters, was fabulous.

It was easy to become vested in Zoe and Warren. I found myself holding my breath at certain points, scared of what might happen. The love scenes were beautiful and steamy.

This book was longer than most mountain man books I read, but it packed a punch with its intense, interesting storyline.

This was a standalone. There wasn’t really a cliffhanger, but the last paragraphs introduced a character only briefly mentioned earlier in the book. This book was a pleasure to read, and left me feeling satisfied. I will definitely be reading more of the books in this series.

A romantic suspense that will keep you on the edge of your chair from beginning to end when Zoe, an investigative journalist was placed in the Silver Hills of Montana by FBI to hide her away from New York, where she uncovered a multi-million dollar medical faurd case against the government. The FBI thought placing her as the PA to the mover and shaker rancher in the area would give her a low profile. Donovan was a gruff man that never really smiled, since he experienced pain easily if he over exerted himself do to a bullriding incident. Zoe being the journalist that she was, was always asking questions, but do to her situation she was telling nothing about herself. Donovan soon figured out there was way more to her story. A wonderful book of mystery and intrigue that I stayed up way to late reading.

Rescued by the Mountain Man is packed with action, steamy heat, and an intriguing plot with some awesome twists! Warrick is a dynamic male lead—alpha protector, gruff, authentic, intelligent, hard working, kind, and also recovering from past trauma. His first impression of female leading lady Zoe is hilarious, and the hits just keep on coming! Zoe is quite literally running for her life but can’t divulge her true identity to anyone. I adore her brains and bravery, along with her drive to do right no matter the cost. The chemistry between Warrick and Zoe is explosive, and the way the author builds tension between them is so much fun. The ranch hands bring excellent comedic relief amidst the tension and drama, and the villains are well-ritten. This book has it all—and takes you along for a highly entertaining ride. Loved it!.

This is a suspense romance. The story of Warrick and Zoe/Zara. Warrick is a rancher in Montana, he got injured during a bull riding accident and now he can’t ride anymore. Zoe is an investigative journalist who witnessed a federal crime in a fraud case in New York and the FBI has sent her to Montana in witness protection to be Zara and working for Warrick. The first time that Warrick and Zara meet is in the cabin when Warrick and Zara are put in the same cabin by mistake. Theresa are no vacancies so they have to figure out what to do. Zara doesn’t like Warrick and he doesn’t like her. Zara doesn’t tell Warrick that she is in danger. Will Warrick be able to keep Zara safe? Will Warrick and Zoe find love and happiness amidst the danger?

Excellent Suspenseful Romance!

Zoe is in hiding from the mob having uncovered a money laundering business in New York. Her FBI handler has set her up with a new identity and sent her off to the wilds of Montana. Her first meeting with her new boss was nothing short of disaster but their mutual irritation quickly turns to passion.

Warrick has been emotionally numb since his career ending accident. Zoe's forthright, cheerful manner has him feeling again.

Just as they reach an understanding the bad guys catch up with her and threaten to end things before they properly begin.

A fantastic heartfelt start to a new series with danger, suspense, suppressed passion, thoroughly likeable characters and of course a brilliant grumpy sunshine romance.

Great read with lots of drama and angst for the characters.
Zoe ends up at Warricks ranch, as his PA, after she is hidden away by the FBI. Her job as a journalist had her stumbling on a major crime and being attacked.
Warrick's first interaction with Zoe (who he knows as Zara) does not go well. What female wants her new boss to mistake her for a lady of the night!
As they navigate their professional relationship, feeling get in the way and cause more drama. Add in an attack against one of Warrick's cowboys and the destruction of Zoe's car - things start to get scary.
Great start and looking forward to the rest of the series.

Rescued by the Mountain Man follows the story of Zoe and Warrick. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this amazing book, the storyline is perfectly executed with wonderful characters. Author Olivia Reign is an incredible at storytelling, she has amazing writing skills and she is overall fantastic at being a storyteller. The characters are quite entertaining, intriguing and their story is quite enjoyable to read. I most certainly would give this book as a suggestion to anyone.

This book was so captivating to read, such a gripping storyline and brilliant characters!

Zoe is hiding from her life because she uncovered something she wasn't supposed to doing her job as an investigative journalist. The FBI sent her to work as a PA for a rancher far far away from the people who are after her, but is it far enough?

Warrick is the rancher who has been hiding from his life since a bull riding accident changed his career path but maybe fate is finally showing him why all of that happened.

Good addition to the Silver Ridge Mountain Men series, this one by Olivia Reign.
Zoe, aka Zara Harrington, is under FBI protection so has come to Montana to escape the man who tried to kill her.
Warrick is a former bull rider and rancher heading up the local rodeo. He’s also her new boss. After getting off on the wrong foot, they are both struggling to resist the attraction they’re feeling.
He doesn’t know about the dangers she’s running from. She needs to keep under the radar and not cause any waves.

*weary sigh*

WHY do I struggle to find a well-edited and engaging rom-sus that isn't filled with plot holes? this had such a good blurb, but just flopped for me entirely.

I am still annoyed that after the heroine finally reveals to the hero that she is in witness protection—and therefore has been using a fake name for her own protection—HE CALLS HER BY HER REAL NAME IN PUBLIC IN THE VERY NEXT SCENE. And continues to do so for the rest of the book. Because he doesn't give a shit about her safety, apparently? Am I supposed to like this guy or think he's a "protector"?

Zoe/Zara was almost murdered and now has the FBI hiding her at Warrick Donovan's ranch as his assistant. She is doing her best to stay alive but when she's found out everyone's lives are on the line. But nothing will stop Warrick from loving and claiming this woman. This is a very exciting read, interesting with lots of intrigue and very well written. Fleshed out characters that you love and some you hate. I loved this story and loved the steamy times with Warrick and Zoe. Great read.

Oh dear! Someone's after Zoe, and the FBI is searching.

They've sent her to Montana. (On her own though? Without protection? Lay low they said? Seems a bit off to me, but, that's okay!)

Warrick is now Zoe's GRUMPY boss! He's been grumpy for seven years! Can Zoe break through his grumpy?

Could they be something? Or, will Zoe have to run again?

My second Reign story and enjoyed this as much as the first!

Suspense.
Slow-burn.
Great characters, both main and supporting.

Man oh man…there’s a lot more to this book than you think when you first read the blurb. For me, it started out sort of slow—then BAM!! It takes off and you can’t turn the pages fast enough. It’s really one helluva a read. The storyline is amazing; the characters are well developed with very different nuances; the plot twists and turns grab your attention and keep you busy flipping those pages; and get ready for a great HEA. Finding herself across the country with a new name and job while the FBI dig deep into the attempt on her life, she discovers a world with temptations, especially a certain damaged rancher, ones she dare not risk as lives could be on the line. As she gets closer to Warrick Donovan, it becomes harder to keep the truth from him, especially when it catches up to her. Jam-packed with drama and a feisty heroine, this tale has everything you can expect from Olivia Reign and more. A great read and perfect for a cozy night in.

Warrick and Zoe. An ex-rodeo champion now a loner in the mountains. Shes his new employee and on the run. Being put in the same room as her boss by mistake interrupting his solitude and his heart. There's always something happening, their arguments and twists and turns. Forced to live in close quarters they begin to lower their inhibitions. The ranch hands keep things humorous and interesting. This read is mysterious, intriguing, suspenseful, dangerous, humorous and a great read.

Excitement Overload!!!!

This book took my breath away!!!! It was so exciting from the beginning.
So many twists and turns I lost count and so confused but in a good way, this book kept me guessing, but when the Councilmen son came into the scene I knew something was up with them and I was totally shocked about Benson's involvement. Warrick and Zara aka Zoe are a perfect match and I fell instantly in love with Goose!
You'll enjoy this book, it's easy to read, the story line easily flows.

I really wanted this book to be great. But it was mediocre at best. Were they trying to get a word count in this book? “I am not going to kill you” “Do not make a sound” I just needed them to use some apostrophe’s. The writing made me think that they were writing something for a class that required a certain number of words so they couldn’t use apostrophe’s in the book.

The story itself felt odd. The authors strong point is the spice in the book. That writing was good but the story itself was not written well. I never felt a connection with the main characters throughout the book.

Zoe is on the run and is starting a new job under a new name- Zoe became Zara Harrington and is the newest secretary to Warrick Donovan in Silver Ridge, Montana. However, at the inn she is supposed to stay at, there is a small problem- the innkeeper, Laura Bennet- put her in the same room as her new boss and he is one cranky so and so. One of my faves are the arguments about coffee. lol. I laughed myself silly because I used to work at Starbucks in the ‘90s into the ‘00s. Things happen quickly and she has to learn fast- plus she meets loads of people as well as Warrick’s ranch hands. Those guys are a riot, including Connie. I laughed a lot throughout the book, and bit my nails and muttered under my breath a lot of cuss words. A lot of things that happen in the book are eye opening. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to see what happens next. I sniffled a few times too.

Zoe running for her life ends up in a nowhere ranch. She continued having nightmares after someone tried to kill her for uncovering corruption. Warrick is the ranch owner after an accident knocks him out of the rodeo. They try to find the balance between boss & employee when desire takes over. Danger, murder and passionate love scenes. Love the story.

I enjoyed reading Rescued by the Mountain Man. Once I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. A definite page turner for me. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone, so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information about the book. I recommend reading this book! I hope you enjoy it.
