Rcvd an advanced reader copy from booksirens for giving my two cents. We meet teenager Vienna who has always felt like she never belonged. Her once BFF Logan doesn't really acknowledge her anymore and he disappeared for a while without explanation. Logan is a shifter anf a Watcher who's job is to protect Vienna. One day in class her teacher made her so mad that she had electricity spark from her fingers....what is going on. She learns that she is an enchanted like her parents who can do magic. There is so much Vienna doesn't know about the magic realm and her parents are trying to explain who she is and that she will get going to a magic school. So much for her college dreams. Vienna is also being trained in combat by Logan and a new girl Valda. Vienna arrives at the academy and meets her new roommates and they are wonderful. Vienna learns about the prophecy, spirit and thr quintessence which people think she is. She is befriended by a tiny Fae whom V named Tabethia, will protect her. Vienna powers are growing and she needs to be prepared. She must learn to trust her instincts and watch who she trusts. Will this help or or will this be her downfall?

Received an arc of this book. Really enjoyed it! Vienna is the FMC and is raised in the human world but discovers she was lied to by everyone in her life, finds out she has magic and is a dream walker.

Betrayal, magic, teenage angst. Loved going on the journey with Vienna.

The cover of this book is what first intrigued me. But jumping into the first few pages is sure to have you hooked like it did with me. This book excels in character development, weaving intricate and compelling personalities that draw you in from the very beginning. The plot is nothing short of extraordinary, presenting twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. I kept having to turn the page to see what happened next. The story is infused with a magical quality that makes you want to leap straight into the enchanting world the author has masterfully crafted. It is an unforgettable read that captivates and transports you to a realm of wonder and excitement. I can’t wait for another book!

This book was a super easy read for me. It was fast paced and kept me wanting more. Following the MMC while she navigates a whole “new” world basically is very intriguing! I will definitely recommend this in the future!!! Not only is the story a beautiful one BUT the art in the book ?????? LOVED. IT.

I could not put this book down. The amount of action mixed with brilliant twists and unexpected shifts in a portal fantasy turned out to be an epic journey. What’s better, I can share this with anyone since it was romancey without being graphic. I’ll be buying a copy for my nephew and daughter. I can’t wait to watch this new author bloom. What a journey.

OMGoodness! I sat down and read this book in one sitting! I became completely enveloped in the story, I felt like I was there, resulting in me losing track of time and looking up at 2:30 AM, with a completed book, blurry eyes, and LOTS of emotions. The Prophecy (War of the Realms: A Magic Paranormal Fantasy Book 1) by Shabucky WinterRose was so much more than I was expecting, and I had already been expecting a lot based off the cover and the authors TikTok, displaying parts of the book.

The MC's:
Vienna, freshly 18 years old and now learning a completely new life outside of the human realm, after being lied to by everybody she felt closest to, inclu ding her childhood best friend, whom she thought she could blindly trust.
Logan, riddled in guilt and conflicting wants, needs, and drives, fights to earn back the trust of his childhood best friend, one of the only people he's ever felt truly close to, after he unwillingly abandoned and hurt her.

My favorite side characters:
Valda, without revealing too much about this character, she is a bad***. I fricking loved her to death. Valda's part is sometimes confusing, but in the end it all adds up. Either way, it's hard to not love her by the end of it.
Ms. Blight, again, I don't want to reveal too much, because everybody should be able to meet each character on their own terms. But I loved her! She was probably one of my favorite adult side characters. Just, ugh! She adds so much, and the way she contributes to the story... it would not have been the same without her!
Tabetha, once you meet Tabetha, you will understand why she is under my favorites! She is so unique and quirky, and comes in at the most perfect time!
The Over'Seer. OMG. This character. I feel like this character would be one of the overlooked characters, they don't have too many scenes/parts in this book, but the parts they do have. Chefs kiss.
Elric. Hey, what can I say, I have a thing for bad boys. But bad boys who aren't like BAD boys, ya know? Anyways, I really hope we get to see more of this character in the books to come. There is so much potential, and from what we see of him, he's got a really important role that we are barely starting to understand by the end of the book.

The Ending:
HJFHGJFAGHFDSJFH. No spoilers here. But OHMYGOD. I was NOT expecting that. The twists and betrayals that are revealed. When I finished this book, I walked around my house for about an hour, at 2 in the morning, not knowing what to do or how to compose myself. My cat was so confused, and probably worried. This author was NOT messing around. If she hasn't already started on the second book..... I just pray it comes out FAST!

SideNotes:
I am kind of intrigued with some of the characters. I loved that the author put both Logan and Vienna's POVs in the book. But I would like to learn more about Logan's background and also some of the other characters. It would be amazing if there was a book dedicated to Logan and a book dedicated to Elric. And if the author included POVs here or there from some of the other characters. That would be amazing! Anyways those are just my thoughts. The characters are all so dynamic, I just want to know everything about all of them!

OVERALL:
This book has got to be one of my favorite reads in a long time.
The romance, a couple steamy spots but not graphic, which means it can be shared with younger family and friends. It was more of a like, anticipation steam, leaving you on the edge of your seat, but not giving in completely, so you just have to sit back and keep waiting and hoping for more. Which is the best kind in my opinion.
The mystery. Every time you think you've figured it out, you haven't. It keeps going. Usually I am pretty good at piecing things together and figuring it out, but this author did an amazing job at throwing curve balls. Multiple times I julted up and went "How did I not see that?!"
The fantasy/supernatural. OHMYGOD. I mean obviously there is magic to be expected, but some of the creatures we are introduced to. This author didn't just create a story. She created an entire fricking world with creatures we've never seen before and realms that are rarely touched on, if ever.
I am so excited to follow along on Vienna and her friends journey! I can't wait to see their beautiful magic realm and see what is coming for them and how they get out of it. And most of all, I can't wait to follow along with this author. If this is her debut novel, I can not wait to see what is coming as she progresses as an author and storyteller!
If you haven't already, dive in! I would love to see everybody elses opinions and have people to rant and go on and on about this book with!
