Our love is a sweet dream…but we’re stuck in a beautiful nightmare.

The

My world is collapsing around me like the once-safe walls of Amelia Manor. What was done in the dark has now come to light, revealing my father’s hidden sins and resurrecting ghosts from beyond the grave. And while I should focus on protecting my family, my mind is a maze. I don’t know the way out. Winter holds my heart, but the fear of losing her makes me grasp too tight as I desperately try to maintain control. Do we run and save what's left of us, or fight and risk everything to be whole again?

The

Hunter's spiraling, and it’s tearing us apart. I found my strength after surviving my abduction, but as Hunter battles his demons, I find myself slipping into old, harmful patterns and blurring the lines between love and obsession. I must find a way to save him without losing myself—while battling the secret systems dedicated to wiping our existence from the planet. How can our love survive the darkness that threatens to consume us?

Reverie is the electrifying conclusion to The Devils in D.C. Saga, blending dreams and reality in a high-stakes battle for love and survival. For fans of J.T. Geissinger, Parker S. Huntington, or LJ Shen, this dark, interracial (BWWM) romantic suspense will keep you hooked until the final page. Please This book is told in dual first-person POV. “You think your darkness will scare me away. But the truth is, I want your dark, your light, and your in-between. Because you’re it for me. I love you completely. Transcendentally.”

***

With no shortage of nail-biting moments, Reverie, book three in the Devils In D.C. Saga by Angel M. Shaw concludes Hunter and Winter's whirlwind romance perfectly. In this novel, we focus a bit more on Hunter, uncovering his past transgressions and trauma, and see how he must face them while dealing with endless catastrophe or risk his current happiness with Winter. We also witness their growth and how they overcome their respective obstacles.

Written with a mindful approach to mental health, trauma, disabilities, and interracial romance, like that of a seasoned author, Shaw weaves a beautifully devastating, emotional, spicy, and riveting tale. Featuring secret societies, gripping action, psychological healing, and layered plot, this trilogy is everything a lover of billionaire or mafia romances could ask for!

I had the honor and privilege of not only reading all three of these incredible novels as ARCs but also being on the author's street team. Hands down, this is one of my top fave authors, and they deserve so much recognition for their writing!

Hunter and winter story was overwhelming. The trauma they both went through, both past and present. The self-healing they were both required to do even if Hunter was reluctant to do it.

I saw a lot of myself in winter so parts of the book were hard but rewarding, to see her grow into herself to gain her confidence and to put her foot down! she's a strong FMC.

This book had my heart hurting and me often yelling at the book for Hunter to smarten up LOL.

I was worried when I got to 90 something percent and the book still wasn't wrapping up. I was concerned it was going to be a very quick ending almost like " oh no the books ending I needed tie it up" but surprisingly even in the last 10% so much happened that made me comfortable with the ending. There are still questions and some missing information however this isn't the final book in this series. This is the final book for winter and Hunter however the other stories will still have these great characters in them even though they're going to focus on the side characters so I know we will get the answers we're looking for.

If you like billionaire Romance, dark romance, possessive alphahole, mental health and autism representation, POC representation, plus size representation then look no further definitely add this series to your TBR.

Roller Coaster

This series has had me in a CHOKE HOLD!!

I was side eying EVERYBODY and I mean EVERYBODY.

There is SO MUCH that happens in book 3 there is a lot to unpack. This is my first series read from Angel and it definitely won’t be my last. I laughed I cried I screamed I cussed imaginary people out. Excuse me while I go get my friends to read the series so I can have someone to talk to about it.

There are levels to dark romance so I say this nicely check ya triggers.

Blown away!

I waited for book 3 for a review.. In my humble opinion all 3 deserves 5 stars.. Angel has brilliantly pieced together a loves story centered on two very broken souls who survived horrific times in their young lives.. No human let alone children should experience the worst in humanity.. But love springs eternal and beautiful souls can heal together😘

So i absolutely loved the first book in the series. But now I feel as though we have lost the plot. All of the sudden we have super humans and super healing abilities. I wasn’t expecting this aspect when I started the series and I feel like it doesn’t really fit with the story. I don’t think I’ll continue right away but maybe some day I’ll come back and finish the book

Such a good read!!

This trilogy was amazing. The twists and turns keep you engaged and turning the page, staying up late just to finish another chapter. This last book was amazing. It answered questions and still left you wondering what was going to happen next. If you haven't read Shadowplay, read it first.

You ever read something and you have no idea what’s going on but at the same time you have to see it through? This was intense, toxic, and confusing, I say confusing because the main characters were complex like you knew they doing toxic things but also knew they meant well and didn’t know any better. Honestly I wish I got a little more in the ending but otherwise good.
