Scarlett spends her days in the shadows. Her whole life, really, but she doesn’t mind. All the best things happen in the dark. She likes to pick up women without the threat of eternal damnation, and she can walk through the park without being nervous. Though, to be fair, that might have more to do with her fangs and bloodsucking nature than anything else.
Either way, in hundreds of years, she hasn’t found anything that makes her want to step into the sunshine.
Can we talk about love? I'm dying to talk about love.
Hi! Thank you for reading my books! No need to wait to post a review, I'm not fussy about reviews before publish date as I will run from GoodReads so fast xxxxx
Bite Me Twice follows Scarlett, a vampire who has sworn off love, after she becomes entranced by Amina following a mugging she prevents. By luck, the two cross paths again, and Scarlett realizes that the vow she made to avoid love and connection may be harder to keep than she thought.
This was a cute and quick read. I appreciated the clear time lapses that made the story progress faster without feeling rushed. Overall, a solid read.
This short story follows the unexpected romance between a young woman and a vampire. Two women from completely different worlds fall for each other in the most surprising way. When Scarlett saves Amina from being mugged, she runs off, thinking they’ll never meet again. But fate has other plans when Scarlett stumbles into the bakery where Amina works—sparks fly instantly.
The story is a quick, delightful read, packed with humor, a dash of mystery, and plenty of spice. The instant attraction between the two main characters is magnetic. The author does a fantastic job of providing just enough detail to keep the reader hooked without dragging the story out. Despite their differences, Scarlett and Amina are well-developed, and their chemistry is palpable. The sexual tension is intense, the dialogue flows naturally, and the story wraps up with a super cute ending that’s sure to satisfy.
I'm on a novella kick lately and this ticked a few boxes for me. Under 100 pages. Tick. Sapphic. Tick. Vampires. Tickety tick. Likely conflict that is resolved in a gratifying way in the short amount of pages. Fucking tick. I don't really want to know what it says about me that the spicy times are so much hotter when a vampire is sipping on a vein like it's a juice box at the same time but they just are.
The writing is just a little too chaotic for me to enjoy reading this. If you're looking for a Black, sapphic, vampire romance then give this one a try and maybe you'll have better luck.
this was such a super sweet sapphic vampire novella! such a swoon worthy story that you don't wanna put down once you pick it up. a quick, heart warming read with the perfect amount of spice.
This is the perfect autumn sapphic read. The cover is so beautiful I love the cherries on it. This is a vampire romance ( a sapphic Vampire romance with a human. . God I love Scarlett and oMG AMIRA IS SO AAH. I love them both. They are just so cute . Both the fmcs are black btw so a hot black sapphic vampire with her hot sapphic human
This is a sapphic vampire romance novella ( I didn’t know I needed this but in this time of inmence grief ( due to recent events ) this is what I needed. - the immeve grief I had was not because the election will affect me at this point in time but me being sad and angry that so many women + disabled people + lgbtqia+ lives will be in danger because of the results .
I’m down bad for both of these women ( I’d love to be in a 3some ngl. I want to have my own threesome hehe with a hot vampire .
Amira being a femdom and Scarlett being her submissive vampire is hot !!! A hot Femdom >> The fact Amira knows Scarlett is down bad for her aah.
I 100% need to start reading more sapphic books especially novellas especially as a bisexual girlie myself.
The spice is hot af like so fucking hot and it’s so perfect. Everything had me swooning and going aaaah I love them
This book was so fucking cute and sweet . I love it I loved every second of this book. ( the fmcs are literally omfg !!! ) it’s one person pov and in 3rd person but god was it an amazing novella . I had such a fun time . - also one of the fmcs was a vampire and nothings hotter than a woman vampire ( especially if she’s sapphic ) Will definitely be checking out this authors other work ( one of her other books has been on my TBR for a while .
I almost passed on this because the cover had me thinking it was a different type of book. I'm so happy I took a chance after reading the blurb!! Ami and Scar are such interesting characters and the sex scenes are hot, wet, and steamy. I enjoyed the world building and with so many vampire stories I liked the take this one had on vampires. This book has me hoping the author continues to include women loving women in their catalogue. Highly recommend for a sexy seasonal vampire romance:)
“Maybe she’s been in the dark so long she’s not sure how to live with the sun.”
This is a cute & cozy sapphic vampire novella that is perfect for fall. It was an effortless read that was easy to follow.
However, this isn’t a “great” story. It needed more depth to me. If the FMC felt like her crush was something she wanted forever… I wasn’t convinced by their interactions. Yes, they had the spice compatibility but it didn’t give yearning for an immortal lifetime.
Overall, it served its purpose for being something cute and quick to read to celebrate spooky season.
“I want to follow you anywhere and everywhere for the rest of time. But I can’t, and that’s terrifying.” This was so sweet and very spicy. I love sapphic romances that are soft and romantically sweet. This has a happily ever after and isn’t closed door. It’s more smut than plot but I love it anyway
This is a paranormal sapphic set in England. It's very spicy and sweet. Our FMC is a very traditional vampire in the sense that garlic, holy water, and sun could result in death. She is against falling in love but has met someone she just can't let go.
Loved this book. A perfect read for spooky season but also at any time of year to be honest. The fun little Vampire "things" mentioned for modern day Vamps are funny and super clever and I loved that the angst led to so much happiness (spoiler alert!).
This book was only 84 pages long yet I was hooked from start to finish. It was everything I needed. A black vampire and a human?!? Sapphic?!?! Sign me up. As soon as I saw the art posted for this book, I just knew I had to read it. It was cute from start to finish. It had me smiling to myself as I read. The perfect quick read.🥰
