Caydee Montgomery escaped the trappings of her small town seven years ago. Now she has the life she always dreamed of- a job she loves, a family with her friends, all on her own terms.
She's perfectly content and happy... until she goes out for a night of fun and is caught off guard by a guy at the club who has no business being as sexy, or as focused on her as he is.
Colt Bishop has spent seven years trying to forget that he fell in love with his brother's ex girlfriend. Then she's pulled back into his life at the club where he dances, and he jumps at the chance to make her his.
There's only three things in the way. His job. His age. And his brother.
I never know what to tell people about myself. I live at home with my handsome bearded half, my brats, and my zoo.
The characters in my stories are very vocal and demanding. They have no problem keeping me up at night until their lives are properly displayed on paper.
I write about everything from alphas to vampires to hockey players, and everything in between. Welcome to chaos!
There is rarely anything that I can say that I would change in an Avanne Michaels book and this definitely holds true in this book. This is completely different from what she normally writes and I love that she decided to do that. Just like all of her books, it is seriously 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Her characters are always so strong and Caydence and Colt are no exception. They both know what they want and go after it. Both professionally and finally personally. Colt loves being a dancer and he is beyond excited to see Caydence at his club one night. Caydence dated Colt’s brother but left town to make a better life for herself then being in a small town. Colt has loved Caydence for years and never dreamed that he’d get her for himself. Can they both have it all? Even if they have a few things against them, namely Colt’s brother and their age difference? It wouldn’t be Everything Nice if they didn’t. Another fantastic book Avanne!!
I love me some short and spicy novellas! Ms. Michaels decided to spoil me by sprinkling in some “ex’s little brother” and “reverse age-gap”, because she apparently knew EXACTLY what I needed today. 😊
Caydee is a young professional making her way through life. She and her friends go to a strip club for Halloween and she catches the eye of the sexy, masked black cat stripper. Black Cat gives her a dance to remember! 🫠
Colton recognized Caydence immediately because he’s had a crush on her since he was 13, when she started dating his brother. His older brother never treated her right, and Colt couldn’t pass up the opportunity to give her a glimpse of how she SHOULD be treated.
🥰 This relationship was so sweet. Caydee is so supportive and encouraging of Colt. She has a bit more life experience but wants him to live in the way that makes him happiest.
Colton is the perfect mix of sincere and dominant. 🥵 The way he insists on calling her “Caydence” was stupidly hot to me. I don’t know why. That just got me 🤷🏽♀️ I also loved how much he had to restrain himself because he was so 💫excited💫 to finally be with her.
🎧 Listened to this audiobook and loved Jaymes Crawford’s performance! She completed this solo and did Caydence and Colton justice. So good! 😊
TLDR: Spicy reverse-age-gap novella with “ex-bf’s little brother” taboo sprinkled on top.
Genre: Contemporary Romance Tropes: Age Gap, Ex-Boyfriend's Brother
I love everything that I've read from Avanne Michaels. While this is different from what I have read so far from the author, I really enjoyed this story. It was definitely a quick light romance with a lot of steam.
Colt has had a crush on Caydence since he was a boy and she was dating his brother. Flash forward to when Colt is in college and dancing professionally. Colt sees Caydence at a the club he is dancing at and decides to pursue her. The story is low angst, but follows them as they quickly fall in love and navigate how friends and family will perceive their age gap and her past relationship with Colt's brother.
My gosh I finished this book the same day I received it. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book Avanne has published.
This story is stuffed full with intense passion and obviously our favorite, spicy scenes. I could not get enough Caydee and Colt. Colt was Caydee’s ex boyfriends younger brother, well I can tell you after reading this I’m happy they split up because HELLO Colt. Not only can the man dance and put on a show but let’s admit it, if you’ve got a side kink for some piercings ;) this one’s definitely for you.

This was a short but a fantastic spicy Christmas romance. If you are looking for a quick read before the holiday, you should check this one out. I adored everything about it, but especially the overall theme of “don’t worry about what anyone else thinks, do what makes you happy.” It made me so happy to see these two end up together!
❤️ Tropes ❤️ 💋 reverse age gap 💋 ex’s little brother 💋 *dancer* MMC
When her friends talk her into going out on Halloween, she just expects to appreciate the view and make sure the dancers get great tips at the club where one of her best friends’ brother dances. But she hasn’t seen this dancer with the tattoos and dressed like a cat before and she can’t look away. When he whispers her name into her ear at the end of the dance, she can’t stop thinking about him. Who is he? How does he know her? And why can’t she get him out of her head?
I was a little skeptical as this is so different from the other books I’ve read from this author but I ended up so charmed by this couple. It had great holiday vibes.. my favorite thing was just that you could feel the chemistry between the characters and in a shorter work that can be so hard to find.
When an author writes a series that’s as gripping as the beta, I as a reader am torn when their next work comes out: do I want it to be the same or do I want to see if the author can write a different type of story and it be as good as their other work? Michaels did it. A heart warming tale without an act 3 breakup and I loved every second of it.

Gosh if i thought i couldn't love another book more than the last this author wrote but dang I was so wrong. I absolutely love this story so much. Colton the Mc he is so dang good gah swoon I love him so hard. This is a beautiful story about a man who has been in love with his brothers ex gf for a long time until he saw her again years later and took his shot. Love it so much.
This book is different than the other ones. I’ve read by this author. I love this author that that’s why I pick up every book she writes. But this book was a delightful sweet little book that I was able to finish in between a break of work thank you so much for writing this book Avanne Michaels. This one just warmed my heart
I have no idea how this was just the sweetest read while also being hotter than Hades but it definitely was. I loved it and I loved Caydence and Colt. Honestly just read it cause words won't do it justice!
Ok so I've seen the reviews that say this is nothing like the author's normal books (and yes I read that at the beginning as well) but as a new to me author I am just going to say...I wish there were more like this one! I freaking loved it
Such a feel good story! It was light and happy and exactly what I needed. A little different from what I’ve read previously from Avanne Michaels and yet just so nice. I didn’t scream or cry or want to burn the book. Also it was pretty 🔥!
Everything Nice by Avanne Michaels is a sweet, spicy holiday read. This is most definitely different from her Beta series. This follows a sweet couple of people - Caydence and Colt. Loved it.
This was such a good quick read. I have been giggling and smiling the whole time and OMG the spice is 🥵 perfect! Colt and Caydence’s story just makes me happy.
The author’s note at the beginning of this book is absolutely spot on. It’s an such mix of the Hallmark holiday specials and the 🌽 you want to read. 😂 So cute and quite spicy.
Woo! This was steamy from start to finish! I loved it! I love that Colt set his sights on Caydee and refused to give up. It was also refreshing that we didn't have a ton of the characters grappling with what to do and whether they should pursue their feelings or not. They get right down to it and don't worry what anyone else is going to say.
