CURSES: A CARNOGRAPHIC DIGEST!

FEATURING:

THE HARROWING: The Karvers are a destitute family in upstate New York who will do anything to save their farm. How much blood will it cost them to protect their family legacy? Only the cursed scarecrows know the answer, and their thirst is never ending.

THE CURSE OF KATIE ELDER: Prostitutes in a port city are becoming infected with a new strain of tuberculosis, and reporter and blogger Ernie Carson is on the story, seeking their Patient Zero, and avoiding the murders surrounding the case. Along the way, he discovers the answers to a 500 year old curse and the ancient evil attached to it.

From the "Master of Splatterfolk" Thomas R Clark and the Ghostcrow, artist Miguel Amaro, comes a unique presentation inspired by the classic black and white illustrated horror magazines! Each volume contains new chapters in the serialized stories THE CURSE OF KATIE ELDER and THE HARROWING… plus illustrated flash fiction and a prose story with accompanying art. All introduced and hosted by Marv the Minion and Madame Nightswan!

The artwork combined with the writing makes for a great collection of gory and intense stories. It all flowed really well together and I felt like I was reading an adult version of Goosebumps.
