Another great mystery and I didn't think that person was behind the incident. Danielle has her babies in an unusual way and Little Addison Marie was first so next book must say the boys name.
Another hit! Bravo! I’d say there is only one problem with this book and that’s that I didn’t want to put it down, because it was so good I had to know everything right now!
Haunting Danielle is one of my top favorite series and I always look forward to a new book being added. The books can be read as standalone, but I can see how a lot of things would be missed like how Walt came to be Danielle’s human husband when he started out as a ghost! In fact, it might be kind of neat to read books from Walt’s POV.
In this story I was so angry with the delusional Camille thinking Brian had been pining for her for ten years and then there was that jerk Clay who was nothing but a liar and a cocky SOB to everyone’s path he came across. And poor Heather. She didn’t do anything and all the bad things kept getting aimed toward her.
There was a lot of suspense and like I mentioned before I did want to get quickly through the book, but that wasn’t only because it was so great I needed to get through it until I knew who the killer was, but it’s also so I could see Clay get his… and he actually doesn’t. Not really. I hope the next book doesn’t have him out of jail.
Next is book 34, The Ghost and the Poltergeist available April 30, 2024. Since that isn’t available yet, I’m going to read book 33 of A Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery series: “Witness, Woods, & Wedding” by Tonya Kappes.
NOT A GOOD BOOK. BUT I love this series! I have from the very first book. And I read them over again. I feel like the characters are friends. But this was so disappointing. It was like reading a reality Tv show script. It was painful. Even The ending was confusing. The killer gets away? Only the baby girl gets a name? Did I miss something?? I’m still a fan of this series but I can’t help but be disappointed ☹️

Read this series in order. Otherwise you end up with a clown car of clairvoyants and you won't know who's who or why. Or particularly care. I thought the series had an interesting premise at the start.
...and so it ends...until #34 comes out this year, which can't be son enough for me! This entire series has caught my attention so strongly that I've binge read books #1 through #33 like an addict! Guess it's time for me to get back to living my real life. It's just unfathomable to me how the author,Bobbi Holmes/Anna McIntyre, continues to write riveting storylines without the "formula" dullness of other series I've read. Kudos to you and to your readers, Ms. Holmes!
This was such a fun book! It kept me guessing till the end on “who dunnit” This series continues to get better and better. I feel like the characters are real people, which is always a sign that I am totally invested in the book/series/characters. Can’t wait for the next one!
This is my best and favorite series. I can hardly ever wait to find out what Danielle, Walt, and the other mediums on Beach Drive are up to next. However, I have restrained myself by allowing myself to buy a book now and then because I don't want to run out! This way I know that there's always a book yet to read. I need to read slower or Ms. Holes needs to write faster. I vote for the latter but I know she writes as fast as she can.
In this book Danielle and Walt are eagerly awaiting the birth of their twin babies. At 8 months pregnant she has more energy than I do! There's several complications to their everyday lives (when is it normal?) when Brian Henderson's ex-wife, Camilla, turns up in town and wants him back. Then the Police Chief, who knows about the mediums' gifts, is sidelined by knee surgery and forced off the job. Temporarily? Not if the new acting Chief can help it. He got the job because his brother-in-law is the Mayor and he is a JERK. When Camilla is murdered the new Chief immediately arrests Heather, Brian's current girlfriend. But of course she's innocent. With the help of the ghosts it all turns out all right but along the way it's such a fun book (and series) to read!
What I want to know is WHAT did they name the baby boy born at the end of the book? We know his twin sister's name. Arrgh!
When Homer Carter dies, his heirs (nieces and nephew Camille, Lucy and Ted) come back to Frederickport for his funeral. But Camilla decides to stay. Their uncles will states that his house can only be sold if all three siblings agree. Her siblings are both counting on the sale of their uncle's house to help them out of financial binds, and are NOT happy that Camilla is refusing to sell. Also, Camilla had been married to policeman Brian Henderson for 25 years, but left him 10 years ago for another man. However, that relationship did not work out the way Camilla expected, and she is now on a mission to get Brian back ... but Heather Donovan has something to say about that! At the same time, Police Chief Edward MacDonald needs to have a knee replaced, and the city manager decides to hire his brother-in-law Clay Bowman for the job. Clay had been on the police force 10 years ago, and wasn't well liked. Things are NOT much better that he's back, and acting chief! Not to mention, Clay and Camilla seem to know each other better than expected. When Camilla is found murdered, there is NO shortage of suspects, so why is Clay Bowman determined that Heather is to blame! Twists and turns at every step of the way.
Chief McDonald must have knee surgery and be off work for 3 months. The son- in-law of a prominent businessman who used to live there is hired (Clay Bowman) . He has aspirations of taking over the job as chief. He is also an a**! Brian’s ex-wife Camilla shows up and wants to move into the house her uncle left her and her siblings. She is still in love(?) with Brian. She is killed by Clay Bowman(who was her lover that she left Brian for) and blames Heather (Brian’s new love). Flora, uncles caretaker, makes a fake will that Camilla left her the estate. Clay goes to Heathers and forces her to sign a suicide note saying she killed Camilla and can’t live with the grief. The ghosts rescue her and Bowman goes to jail.

Loved every minute of this addition to the series. The storyline had me glued to every page from the very beginning right up to the end. I knew right away when Camilla got killed who did it, but, never the less, it was extremely fascinating to read as the suspect was eventually revealed. I loved the interaction with all the animals in this storyline. Now I'm kinda wondering if since Bowman has disappeared if he'll turn up in a future storyline seeking revenge. Noe that would make a great storyline! Never did find out what the boy baby was named. Can't wait for the next book!!!!!!!
Man oh man when I read the first chapter I was concerned for Heather and Brian. One mystery of the ex-wife being murdered and the mystery if Danielle will have the babies soon was answered! Poor Chief had to have surgery and be out but finding out who's replacing him while in PT was not fun. Yes Danielle and Walt welcome their twins!! While having the baby shower!!! Ah fraternal twins so eager to be solving mysteries with the whole beach drive mediums and friends!! Eventually they'll be old enough to help!!
Clay Bowman is covering for the chief, whilst he is on sick leave. Camilla Henderson and her siblings return after their father's death, but Camilla has someone else on her mind, her ex - husband. When Camilla is found murdered, the new chief causes ructions when he makes his arrest. Who will fall into the trap? A surprise ending to everything makes everything all right with the inhabitants of Fredrickport.
I'm so invested in Danielle and Walt's lives and friends that I was angry about Heather being rudely talked about and framed for murder. I was outraged that Bowman shot Hunny and semi-silently urged Heather to call the vet immediately. Once again the spirits help save the day and Danielle's labor/birthing was unbelievably rapid. Looking forward to book 34 because reading takes far less time than writing.

I adore this series. I never know the guilty person or the plot which keeps me glued to the book til the end. I never get tired of this series. I just feel I can go on vacation and run into any one of the characters and chat. I feel like I want to see the twins grow up. So I hope Bobbi has a lot more in store for us. I'll order for as long as she write. I figure I've got at least 20 more years.
The Ghost and the Twins(Haunting Sample book 33 by Bobbi Holmes nd Anna J. Mcintyre.
This was another winner. This series is one oF my favorites. I highly recommend all their books and different series. She writes wonderful characters and great storylines. I did not hear the boys name only the girls name. f my favorites. I highly
The Ghost and the Twins has to be the most captivating in the 33 book series! With characters you'll love to hate, and twists and turns right up until the end. I finished reading the book in one night. I just couldn't put it down. Bobbi Holmes never disappoints.
This was sooooo AWESOME!!! But I think I say this with all her books. This is one of my all time favorite series. I love how the gang is not fooled by stupidity. I love how Kelly has toned it down a bit ( but we’ll have to see in other books if this is true). I cannot wait until the next book. I seem to read these faster than others !!!! Happy Reading:)
This was a fun book to read. I could not put it down. Love the continuing story of the ghosts, mediums. I am anxious for the next book in the series. Thank you for a really good book, but that cliff hanger at the end, a wanted man. Now I wonder in which future book he will pop up in.
Well, Bobbi has done it again. I've read a lot of series g different authors and a lot get stale or change direction. But this lady, not a chance. Its like welcoming an old friend and knowing your going to be surprised with each book and your friends not going to let you down.
The twins are hear, YAY!!! Poor Heather, she lives Brian but does not like his ex- wife. What would you do to hide an affair. Not commit murder, and hide behind your badge. Clay Bowman is a bully and should never have been made interm chief. Hope the real chief has a speedy recovery. On to the next adventure!💚💙
I liked this one a lot. I’ve really enjoyed the entire series but this was one of my favorites.
This is a great series with love, intrigue, family, friends, and ghosts. They are appropriate for all ages as the books have couples, but not sex scenes.
4.5 ish ⭐️ This was the best (and worst) one so far. I only say worse because I absolutely LOATHE the stand in chief, Bowman. His character is so incredibly infuriating, It almost made me want to stop reading. The great writing had me again. I had no clue who the murderer was until close to the end. I have yet to figure one of these books out ahead of time 🤣🤣
Another great one, I was more connected to this one than last couple installments. Storyline kept me hooked and felt much more than just a filler as the previous ones. Felt more time was spent on this one for detail into main characters lives but the murder mystery part did seem rushed a bit. Excited to see where things head after the “new arrivals”.
OMG Danielle had her babies! Please, please don't let this be the end of the series! This book was great, focussing on Heather and Brian. Good storyline. Hoping for a new book soon.
I've read the entire series and enjoyed them all. I have always enjoyed the cats and dogs in the series but this book highlighted some breed traits in Hunny that I was thrilled to read. I wonder what the boy twin was named...
Love Love Love this whole series. The tension builds and we learn more about the characters, which increases the stakes!!! Exciting and amazing!!!! Read it straight thru, couldn't put it down!!! I have the whole series and reread it, because it's just that good!!!
Love this series. The characters are so much fun. Will be fun to see what happens with the twins in the next book, which I already pre ordered. Great job Bobbi on another hit in the series. Enjoy
I love Walt and Danielle and all of their friends. Thank you for calming Kelly down, for bringing the entire friendship group closer, for saving Heather and Hunny, for all of it. Please don’t stop.
I really love this entire series of books. I read the first 30 back to back and was so engrossed in the world it was hard to start something new. As each new book comes out I really appreciate the world even more. The characters are like old friends!
