I read a lot of bullshit but this was something worse. Went in assuming it would be bad but entertaining. It was just bad. And so boring. For such a smut heavy title it was bland as fuck. One star is too generous. I hope this was written by AI cause the idea that a human brain came up with this garbage is enough to send me into a depression. Maybe we’re letting too many people publish books. Maybe self publishing has awarded us too many freedoms.

"I'd like nothing more than for Lily to choose me... But not at the expense of her happiness."

I really enjoyed this book. Another fun steamy foursome from Ellie Rowe. I liked Lily, Max, William, and Daniel. I guess I'm used to cowboys and businessmen from Ellie, so I really liked that these three were policemen. Lily was sweet and cheerful, and I liked the cute playful banter between her and Max when she was unpacking and he helped her with the boxes. Daniel was also quick to help with a box before rushing off to start his shift. William didn't make the best first impression accusing her of being a squatter, and kicked himself for it almost immediately. I loved that all three lived just houses away from each other and all worked at the same station. While I like the dynamic between the four of them, individually I liked her bond with Max the best. With vandalisms happening in their area shortly after Lily moved in, and when her past comes for her, can her three suitors keep her safe or will she have to run again?

Just to make things clear, this is MFMM not MMMF. There is no chemistry or love between the guys. They love her and want what's best for her. I didn't mind it at all, but since I love MM romance and MMF, I was a bit disappointed. And it was about 65% into the story that any talk of a shared relationship was brought up. But then this book was more focused on the characters and the action and I did very much enjoy it. I don't understand the title though.

Editor needed

The overall concept is nice but it was slightly a mess.
In the beginning the author has the guys in their internal monologues call her cute, the use repetitive. I felt the writing a tad immature, I couldn't accept three grown hot men would want her because she's cute. It felt like they thought like a girl, the author not writing men well.
There were many editing typos, missing words, repetitive sentences etc.
Several errors like they all had houses then it says they went to her apartment next to "his".
The author is writing Lily's perspective and she's supposed to say "they want me to..." but the author wrote "they want her to...".
They mention a old ceiling fan Lily had in the rented house, old peeling paint yellowed blinds but they're supposed to be at Daniel's house who is clean and organised so you wonder are they back at her rented house?
Many errors that needed editing, which took me out of the story.
As far as the story concept not bad, they all seem in love fast...I would've liked more one on one, I thought the author forgot the personalities of the men some what. One guy had a family issue brought up but we never learn more, another one liked cooking but never cooked again in the story.
Sex was 3/5 it needed more, and the end HEA well no spoilers but how well that work??? The men haven't come together other than to save her...they don't all live together.
This was messy.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. The title is a nice play on words but I don't see where it ties into the book itself. It definitely tells readers what you are getting with this book, and that was the main factor in me choosing this book. This is the first book that I have read from this author, and I could definitely see myself coming back for more.

Lily Goodman is running from something. She found a place that feels like home and safe. That could be because she is surrounded by police officers. This book did not start off the typical way a reverse harem book starts. These guys knew each other because they worked together but that is it. Usually there has already been some sharing of partners between the group. This book goes a different route. Each guy has to decide if they can deal with the proposal at hand. Be in a harem with two other guys and get the girl or walk away. I liked that Lily was strong enough to refuse to choose one. She wanted them all.

Story line 4/5 📖
Characters MMFM 👬👫 Good characters.
Writing style 2/5 ✍️ Although the style of writing is much better than some I’ve read, this definitely needs some editing. Like ‘she slapped my hand over her mouth’ instead of ‘she slapped her hand over my mouth’. Plus they all definitely live in houses, Will’s specifically across the street, then suddenly in Chapter 45, they all live in apartments with Will living right next door?
There’s more, but you get the gist.
Heat 4/5 🔥 Considering how often they are together, seems there should have been more interaction.

Hawk Threeah is a cute take on an on-the-run damsel in distress (Lila) meeting three neighbors (Max, Daniel & William) who happen to be police officers. Max is immediately drawn to her, and William is a close second, but Daniel is the holdout until they realize she is in trouble, and all of their protection instincts kick in trying to not only keep her from danger, but to ensure her days and nights
a filled with physical pleasure that is both heartwarming and tender. If you are looking for a great HEA, this is a delightful read.

It's ok ..

The story line is good. How ever one minute she is living in a house, next time it's brought up it's an apartment. She in a shirt and pj shorts getting undressed then all of a sudden she is in a dress getting undressed. There are misspelled words . Example (he takes his heat next to her. Clearly that should be seat).

My new mantra, "I will not pick up any more books by Ellie Rowe or her friend she writes with Gemma Haze."

I keep having to give horrible reviews because PLEASE. GET. AN. EDITOR!!! I will do it for you, just for god's sake woman, do it. These books are messy because you don't watch your continuity. Details are all messed up. At one point, the men swapped personalities.

Better Editing

First time reading anything by this author, it was not the worst but not good either, it was over dramatic and contradictory, not enough time goes by for all those big emotions, it didn't make sense at times, it could have used a lot of editing.

I really wanted to like the book but the writing was tough. Micro details that were kinda big kept changing. First she had a house then an apartment. She went from a blue car to orange. I couldn’t finish the book. And while the spice was there it wasn’t enough to make me finish the book

Good overall story

The plot was good. Easy read. There are a few snags, one...they lived in houses then it was an apartment. Nothing was said on how they knew where the villain was but she went there. There are a few other snags but all in all good story

Good with flaws

Overall, the storyline was good, but discrisxription of characters kept changing, and it was hard to imagine what they looked like. The female heroine eye color kept changing. If the story wasn't compelling, u would've stopped reading immediately.

Poorly written

It sounds like an amateur wrote it. It needed a copy editor. There's many errors in this very simplistic story.
