Perennial USA TODAY & Amazon 5-million copy bestselling authors DAVID ARCHER and BLAKE BANNER have joined forces once again to create one hair-raising explosion of carnage and intrigue!
The man called Rogue is driven. He is driven to hunt down, kill and destroy those who traffic death, drugs and prostitution on the streets – those who prey on the weak and the vulnerable. And he is damned good at what he does.
What he does not know is why he is driven. Because he doesn’t remember who he is, or how he became the monster he has become. So the man called Rogue is on a mission to destroy the predators, and also a quest to find himself, to discover who – or what - he is.
That quest takes him to New York. Glimmers of memory tell him there was a street on the Upper West Side, an apartment, a woman, maybe a home… But what Rogue finds there is not domestic bliss. Nor is it a light to lead him out of his darkness. What he finds is a mesh of lies, corruption and violence deeper and more complex than he could have imagined. What he finds is that, if you cross the Devil you face Hell’s fury.
What he discovers is that Hell’s fury is what he carries in his heart every damned day of his life.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and immediately downloaded this one.
This book felt like someone else wrote it. The characters felt more one dimensional. And the main character became unlikable. Not because he killed people...that's kind of the fun part. But he was ridiculous. He wanted info from a woman he met. So he said if she didn't answer, he was gonna spank her. . wtf? Then a few chapters later, another woman..he asks her if she is gonna spank him if he doesn't answer her. I mean really?? And every woman he met wanted to kill him or have sex with him.
The first book was like a cross between Jason Bourne and Reacher. This one was more Jason Bourne and Sasha Cohen Barrett.
I came here to say this is an excellent series, but then halfway through this book, the main character does something completely out of character. Then, in a scene seemingly taken directly from Casino Royale, he expertly orders dinner with the perfect alcohol pairing. Now Rogue is Bond? The rest of the story spins out of control with a slapped on explanation ending. Maybe book 3 is part of a long game planned by the 2 authors…
I've read first novel, and had an attack of anxiety to have the second. Well, now I've read it and kept on riding chapter after chapter trying to sift the grain from the chaff. This doesn't signify that I found any chaff! Submerged in the grain it took me a lot to separate the good guys from the bad. There was a point that I couldn't decide who was who. Now comes a third instalment! I'll have to take more vitamins to confront it. Thank you Mr. Banner and Mr. Archer!
Now that it's been disclosed who Rogue is not (good "shatter" at the end), it will be intriguing when it's disclosed who he is. Obviously, that will be the bait to keep us readng this series. Good one guys! The plot of "Hell's Fury" had some good twist and turns. Except for Jane Harrison, it was surprising that all the female allies were trying to kill him. Sadly, since we didn't know how many people were on both yatchs, it appears the body count was less than "Gates of Hell". Shame on you guys. I will be anticipating "Ice Burn". NEXT!!!
Revengeful violence by Rogue and enemies permeates each chapter. Women and men carry out assault, defense, confrontation, and demolition. Rogue seeks to overcome amnesia and find out his name and identity. Rogue's violence exceeds that of a character in another book series.
Wow!!!! What a ride. This 2nd installment of Rogue was non-stop action in his journey to untangle the mystery of who he was before he got amnesia after a violent & traumatic event. He is a walking contradiction of a kind & gentle man, while at the same time ruthless & violent. I love this new series & can’t wait for the next in the series. If you love action, you’ll love this series
Full of twists, turns and fast paced action. Rogue is still trying to discover his identity ad who it was who killed his family. But each time he pieces togther the clues he's given, things change. Is anyone really who they seem to be? Certainly a page turner. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
This brilliant 2nd installment by Archer & Banner continues an unbelievable story of search and redemption by a man experiencing almost total amnesia. All the characters are well crafted. The pace is ‘cannot put down’ and each book’s ending is such a surprise. I can’t wait for the 3rd installment of this saga
A little closer to solving the identity of main character. Not much to like about this character that can kill everyone in the opposition even in minor roles like a few yacht hands in the engine room offering no resistance. The mystery holds your interest but the brutal main character not so much.
Plot was well constructed. Rogue is an interesting character. Kept me guessing the entire novel trying to decide WHO he is. Well done! Still stymied. Guess I’ll need to read the next episode. Highly recommend.
I really enjoy the works of both these writers, but I see more of Blake Banner here than David Archer. Make Rogue an ex-SAS, add in the Bushmills and the Bronx and you have Harry Bauer incarnate. Still a good read and I enjoyed it.
This is like no other book I've read and I've read a lot. The book is very fast moving and I couldn't put it down. This character has amnesia and that's the easy part. What he has to do, what he is compelled to do, to find out who he is, is beyond imagination.
This was a very great book. Rogue finally found out he is not Ted Hansen .. He is not Susan husband. But he still after going through cartel and Hans Fisher gang doesn't know who he is . But the was very great plot! 10 stars plus!!!!! Thanks, Carl Clause
Love this series. It makes me want to meet the main character. He's a good guy finding and killing bad guys ! But he has amnesia and doesn't know who he is or why he's on a quest to rid the earth of all the drug dealers! But he's determined to find out!
Looking forward to book 3 to discover Rogue's identity. In some ways his character reminds me of characters in mystery movies made in the forties and fifties.
