After being framed for the murder of Yassir King, Bishop sits in jail longer than expected. Meanwhile, chaos is brewing back in the cove. Bishop finds that even behind bars, his mother's ties are deeper than he could have imagined. Despite the chaos, he remains determined to reach out to the person he cherishes above Indigo. Through their conversations, he endeavors to heal the broken parts caused by his departure, with Indigo as his Black Rose.
WOW!!! Just WOW!!!! I was feeling the letters. I was locked in. Some of them were a little tough. Even a little rough. BUT the phucking ending, Tatiana YOU GOT TO STOP. Like you really gotta be stopped. I feel like a junkie if this is how they be feeling waiting for their next hit BECAUSE ma’am I am livid.
At this point Book 2 can not come soon enough. This little intermission did nothing for my soul but make it ache. Your pen is rough. Good day ma’am!!! If y’all ain’t read Prince of Parkside Cove Book 1, stop and read that before popping this open.
Knowing what Bishop was dealing while down, knowing how him and his friends keep in touch was a nice touch. However, knowing he was able to communicate with Indigo and getting a letter from his brother was the best part of it all! The love and the emotions they express to each other those letters was everything!
Even though they were on better terms, they both still have a lot of work to do with their relationship, I’m still hoping they have their happily ever after.
This novella really make me feel bad for Bishop and Indigo. How could a mother be so cold that that are not willing to put aside their differences for their own ADULT children’s happiness. Bishop’s mom in CUTTHROAT!. Indigo is put in a sticky situation because how could she believe Bishop didn’t kill her father when his body was found at his home. We Know at this point what really happened but she does not. I don’t know what Khas is doing to that girl but he has her on lock. I enjoyed these letters! The perfect way to ease into the next book!
These people r a trip! Tht angela please tell mi karma cmin! Her and grace! And tht khas! They is tryin to destroy love to feed they hatred! Their children is lost and broken because of this! So mani lies and secrets! Oh lawd! Wht they did to indigo?! 🤦🏾♀️ Cme on bishop, ima need him to shw up and shw out to his girl. I've read the cove, but nw tht im readin hw it all strted i c bishop in another light, i hope him and chevi flip the narrative and becme coo, because smeone manipulatin them too! 🤦🏾♀️
Bishop and Indigo are really going through it. This man is sitting in jail for a crime he didn't commit against the father of the woman he truly loves. The warden, Amelia's dad has an option for him to get out immediately... Marry her. No one makes Bishop do anything he doesn't want. However, Angela ain't $#!t! Happy Reading Y'all!💋
So happy I read this series out of order because this drama has me on edge even though I have an idea how it ends. If I was reading this as they were being released, I would be sooo pissed off. Angela, Grace, and Khas need to be deaded!!!! Tania and Indigo need to move better and say wtf they need to say and stand on it. Ugh!!!! Im sooo pissed off at all these damn characters!!!! Except London she is innocent!
The letters didn’t need its own book! The letters could have been apart of a full book with a story explaining more of what was going on in the Cove. The letters left more questions than answered and the thought of Indigo blaming Bishop for what happened to her father made no sense and she was supposed to be the smart one. Who commits a crime and leaves any evidence at their home! Make it make sense.
Whewwww! This in between read should be called "Lord, Save her for me"! It's a bunch of ✉️ letters Bishop writes to get his head together. A filler of sorts designed to tide over between book one and book two. You don't need it but you don't wanna miss it 😉.
Much needed behind the scenes from behind the wall. Bishop is up top and try to stay connected through letters to Indi who at first tries to read him for filth until he pours out his heart and she starts to sing another tune….. Meanwhile all hell is breaking loose in the Cove and the only way out is to do the unthinkable…….
Quick read to keep us in the loop. Stressed out but still in the know. Angela and Grace should be ashamed of themselves bc all of this lying scheming and tryna control their adult children is beyond disgusting and psychotic. I can't wait for bop and indigo love story to flourish
This is a brief intermission of the Parkside Cove series between Bishop and Indigo. While incarcerated, he couldn’t stop thinking about her, and because of the unfortunate circumstances, he decided to pen his thoughts. This was beautiful and absolutely necessary.
This was such a smart concept for a book. It kept us engaged instead of stuck waiting forever for the next installment with nothing to read in between. The letters were a perfect touch…they helped both us as readers and Bishop stay in the loop about everything happening in the Cove. And the way things are unfolding… I already know Bishop is on his way to get his Black Rose.
Mannnn my emotions are all over the place! To see Bishop pour out his heart ❤️ 💔 Indigo was just as vulnerable. Khas HAS TO GO! I love the subliminal messages in these letters. Ugh I’m jumping into part 2 cause this didn’t do anything but flare up my anxiety…
Tatiana has me in an official chokehold. I’m invested and have to see what’s going to happen. I love so many and genuinely HATE just as many characters 😂😂😂😩😩
Baby when I say the drama is crazy for these characters. It's like they can't get right but it looks like some people have to go to get them on a small amount of normalcy!!
I have never hated two women more than these poor excuses for a waste of skin. I just I can’t even. Tati why are you like this I’m 38 hot right now. On to the next book, I have to see how this ends.
I loved the letters back and forth. I read this so quickly and it was such a wonderful read. So much transpired in such a short time. I hope to read more books in this format.
I loved this concept of the update on this series! I cannot believe they got my boy in there for that long. I really cannot stand Angela! Like I need her and Khas in the gate below quick!
This wasn’t bad it also wasn’t something that was great. It was okay. I read this book because I thought it was VITAL to read this before jumping into book 2 & it may be but I doubt it. Only one big thing happens throughout this book the rest is basically groveling 🤷🏾♀️
Enjoyed reading the letters between these characters, the way they expressed themselves, their wants na smell as desires, of course Koss discovering the letters codename things worse or better you could tell he was.indeed in his feelings when he responded to Bishop
🌹 Black Rose: Letters to Indigo is raw, emotional, and deeply personal. Author Tatiana Timmons writes love and heartbreak with such honesty, it feels like she’s speaking directly to your soul. The love that Bishop has for Indigo through raw, vulnerable letters, you witness a love that’s forbidden.
Okay, it's all going Ape-shit. I hate it for All of the children, because these two women are monsters. They are doing all this manipulation and destruction for their own agendas. All to hurt one another.
Like i said this butch doing absolutely toooo much. I fear Bishop is better than me bc girl fuck you.
Amelia is stupid and annoying and ik she the one that probably asked her dad to make Bishop marry her. Angela and Grace both need to die. Go fight in hell bc goddamn. it’s too much.
Indigo has no street smarts .. well really no smarts. I like Tania because she’s always putting two and two together but Indigo just makes me angry lol. I’m really mad Tania and Bleek couldn’t hash things out too. I really wanted them to be together.

I’m rooting for Bishop and Indigo. From his letters, you can tell that once they figure out this love thing, it’s going to be something fierce. But one can also surmise they won’t come out of this unscathed. This novelette has me amped up for the next book.
