I have never had a book make me laugh, tear up, beam with joy and pride, and make me shocked all in the span of a couple minutes. Every page was a new journey, all of it carefully crafted. Such a brilliant poetry book. If you are Coptic and progressive, you will find yourself in these pages. If you are not Coptic, this is a chance to dive into Coptic culture and what it means to be a Coptic girl/woman in diaspora especially, please give it a chance!
