This short story follows Charity, a young widow who is confined to her little bubble-look out for little sis and working as a bartender for her mother-in-law- and Brandon, a grey sheep of his family, a hero and Charity's Father-in-law.
They choose to take chances with each other after their instant attraction to one another and ignore the fact that their relationship will be frowned upon.
Contains little spice.

This book is definitely a page-turner! It has twists I didn't see coming, making for an excellent plot. Charity is bartending for her MIL when she meets Brandon. Vvharity is a widow, and her attraction to Brandon surprises her. I enjoyed reading this book. It made me happy to see both of these characters get their HEA. This book is spicy and fun ;)

This is a novella that is a quick read. The storyline is engaging with an intriguing and interesting start and continues to hold your attention to the end. The characters are well written and have an instant magnetic chemistry. Their age difference makes them more interesting as they are in a small town that likes to talk. They are good for each other, though. I enjoyed this book. Highly recommend.

There is nothing more exciting than a taboo feeling age gap relationship between the older deceased husband’s father . Honestly I really liked this so much. Very well written and definitely worth the read. Girls makes you cry and smile. Definitely has some spice . 🌶️🌶️.
