OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE. I NEED TO LEARN JAPANESE NOW BC WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION FOR THE NEXT VOLUME HAS NO RELEASE DATE YET.
i actually….like idk what to do with myself now. how do i move on from this. how is the world still spinning?

this sets up the next arc over the next two weeks SO GOOD IM SO EXCITED. i love when kids stand up and FIGHT in matters that are “for the adults”. THEYRE GOING TO ROCK EVERYONES SHIT! i think the next few volumes gotta be setting up for the battle of the high council. like we are preparing for WAR YALL. and you know what! i still ship them! HAKFIEHSKAN

September 30, 2026C'est un volume de build up avant la confrontation finale avec le Duc Clockford.
On a le droit à la backstory du prince, et de Monica qui décide de prendre les choses en main.
C'était vraiment super ! En soi peu de péripéties, mais je suis content que le récit avance, avec des révélations importantes et des actions majeures prises par Monica.
La backstory du prince est assez convenue (le volume précédent donnait presque toutes les infos) mais a le mérite d'en faire un personnage beaucoup plus intéressant qu'au début. J'étais aussi content de revoir un peu tout le monde, notamment Casey, et la scène finale était évidemment très attendue même si j'espère qu'on en aura un peu plus au volume suivant.
Vraiment Monica mon bébé elle mérite tout le bonheur du monde. Très hâte d'avoir le volume suivant qui viendra conclure tout l'arc entamé depuis le départ (mais pas l’œuvre qui elle continue).

4.7/5 lost a lot of sleep on this one
An incredible light novel crafted that shows a flawed yet not frustrating character who makes hard decisions about how she moves on from her trauma, relentlessly choosing again and again to choose the present over her past.
Series finale was a chef's kiss in seeing all the pieces fall together.

Me estás cagando?!
Estuve todo el libro con una angustia horrible, todo se está complicando mucho para Mónica.
Que tristeza me dió la historia de Arc e Iker, ellos merecían cumplir sus sueños 😭
Solo espero que ese pensamiento de el mago de la barreras de echar a Mónica de los siete sabios no sea cierto.
Estuve todo el libro con una angustia horrible, todo se está complicando mucho para Mónica.

Finally! we are finally. Getting. Somewhere! Aaaaaah. Eight books in and the plot not only thickens but boils over.

Just as good as the previous
A lot of series lose momentum but this one has not only kept it, it's accelerated. The characterization, plot twists, and world building are top notch. One of my favorite light novels.

This was one of those books that I tried to read slowly because I didn’t want it to end. I failed…. I couldn’t put it down. Questions have been answered, identities have been revealed, and now it’s time for action. Please, don’t make me wait a year for volume 9 🙏
