Inseparable: Who I Am, Was, and Will Be in Christ

Rate this book
As women, we are constantly on a search for self-worth. In today's world, can be easy to measure our significance by what we do for others rather than out of a deep-rooted sense of identity.

Based on the book of Romans, "Inseparable "aims to give an overview of our identity in Christ from the grand narrative of Scripture as a whole. Throughout the book, guided Bible study sections will lead readers to discover truths in Scripture for themselves and challenge them to apply those truths to their everyday thought processes and choices. Readers are encouraged to look to Christ for approval, identity, and significance rather than themselves or the world around them. Readers will be enabled to live confidently and securely in today's culture, ready to face life's challenges with strength and courage.

"A lovely, dazzling gem of a book. Written in a singular voice that speaks directly to the soul, Ashley Linne shows how to read the Scripture with a gentleness and gentility that will take the breath away from both the beginner and the scholar. This is a book for which one might be grateful on that proverbial desert island everyone asks about."--Leonard Sweet, Drew University, George Fox University, chief contributor to sermons.com.

Inseparable by Ashley Linne is about Who I am, was, and will be in Christ. It boils down to seeing ourselves as God sees us and looking to Him for approval, not the world. In a world where we are judged by our appearance, financial status, and quite frankly - by ourselves much too harshly. It's a great reminder to look through His eyes, at ourselves and others.

Marketed towards women, hence the purple cover you see because well, men wouldn't want purple now would they I mean after all.
Anyway, I actually think I spotted the book because of the cover and purchased it because it sounded interesting.
There were some fine points and it is relevant to all.
I just wish we would write Christian books for all and not try to say. this one is specifically for women or men when the message is the same for all.
I guess it is marketing but you know, this is a book that can be read and that can challenge and inspire whoever you are.

If you are looking for a Bible Study that will help you to better understand what it means to be a Christian based on your identity in Christ, then Inseparable - Who I Am, Was, And Will Be In Christ by Ashley Linne is a great place to start!

Inseparable is based on the New Testament Book Of Romans. However, during the course of this study, you'll find yourself examining many passages throughout Scripture.

Because of the way this book is written, Inseparable seems particularly suitable for in-depth, individual Bible study. Inseparable contains long stretches of prose with questions at the end of each chapter and space for notes and journaling. If you are looking for a traditional group study with a more interactive feel - you might want to preview this book before purchasing.

Inseparable also contains several useful Appendices, particularly Appendix 2, which provides an overview of your identity in Christ.

If you are looking for a Women's Bible Study that will help to ground you in your faith and your relationship with God, then Inseparable is a great book to read!

As women, living in the last days it is often difficult to find out what our purpose is and what God expects of us. I was given the awesome opportunity to review Ashley Linne's INSEPARABLE as a member of BookLook Bloggers and this outstanding read helps define our roles. The Author aides us with a roadmap for developing a Christ Like identity by using the book of Roman's. Through her personal experience, studying the scriptures and answering questions we will all gain a better perspective of who we were and who we will be in Christ. I was also honored to listen in on the Inscribed Author Chat this past week where I discovered the author to be so sincere and down to earth. She discussed difficulties that we may all encounter in life but how we can have the confidence in God to help us through each situation, Learning that the author experiences the same trials as us all really made me enjoy her series that much more. Inseparable is a must have for all those who Love the Lord.

The author of this book is a friend of mine, and so I enjoyed reading it from that perspective. The overarching ideas in this book sparked good conversation in my book group. This is great for big picture ideas about freedom in Christ, living up to who we are in Christ, and not being weighed down by anxiety or fear or guilty. It's written in a very conversational way; you feel like Ashley could be sitting in your living room chatting with you- I personally don't tend to like books written like that, but because I know Ashley it was ok in this instance. I did not particularly care for the use of The Voice translation, but I understand why she chose to use that. It is not an in-depth study of Romans, but she uses texts from Romans to tie the various pieces together.

I underlined a lot of this book. It's a bible study of sorts that uses the Voice translation. It was refreshing to read familiar passages from Romans in this translation. Ashley spoke to many of my struggles about identity through this book.
