This year, learn to listen for the voice of the One who loves you most. We know for sure that God speaks to His people. Throughout the pages of Scripture, He guides, instructs, corrects, inspires, encourages, and reveals. Inspired writers even call Him “the Word.” He has always been vocal, and He always will be.
But what does He say to you ? How does He say it? How can you know when you’ve heard Him? The One Year Hearing His Voice Devotional , written by acclaimed author Chris Tiegreen, will help you discover patterns and practices you can adopt to hear God better. Listening to God is a process, a journey, and an adventure. He promises that those who seek Him will be rewarded with His presence and His voice. And the words of the living God are powerful and life-changing.

I first became acquainted with this book as required reading as part of my Christian Life Coach training program at Christian Coach Institute. Nearly two years after I competed my program and certification, I still read from this book almost every single day. I’m always amazed at how I hear God’s Voice so clearly and perfectly almost daily even though I’m likely on my third time through. This book is timeless and the author is truly a vessel of the Holy Spirit. I have given this devotional as a gift many times with such joyful enthusiasm and expectation of how it will bless the reader. Highly recommend as it is truly one of my favorite devotionals of all time.
This was probably my favorite devotional - ever. A years worth of simple, yet profound, devotions written to lead you into a place whereby we better hear from the Lord - and subsequently be encouraged to act on what we hear. I was excited to pass it on as a gift, as it was first given to me as a gift...
A beautiful, moving book which encourages you on your path to know God on a deeper, more personal level through understanding his forms of communication with us. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough as a motive for self reflection and strengthening your relationship with God.
This was an ok study. I enjoy doing these One Year Devo’s every year, but this one wasn’t one of my favorites but despite that there were some really thought provoking ideas throughout the book and it was worth the time
Another winner from a writer who challenges my thinking. His devotionals have helped to guide me daily because of the simple messages based on solid scripture references.
Chris Tiegreen does an excellent job with this devotional. He cleverly shares how God speaks with scripture and reveals Gods character with each daily devotional.

The One Year Hearing His Voice Devotional is a year’s worth of devotions focusing on the act of hearing God’s voice. By going through these devotions on a daily basis, over a year’s time, the author believes the reader will be in a better position both with the mind and spirit to hear what God has to say.
Each day consists of a Biblical scripture verse, in an easy-to-understand context. Following the scripture verse is a devotion especially for that day. Each reading ends with a prayer, requesting to hear from God and have a deeper relationship with Him.
I am a firm believer that the more time one spends in God’s Word the closer and stronger their relationship becomes with God. This devotional allows the reader to enlarge their quality of time spent with God, in addition to their regular Bible reading. Along with providing daily verses, this devotional encourages daily prayer as well. Prayer is a form of communication and communication is an important key to building the strength of relationships.
There is more than one way to use this devotional. It can be read each day throughout the year, read over and over again every year, and read through as a book with a page-turner quality to it. Reading it day-by-day is best, in order to soak up the lessons to be learned. I have added The One Year Hearing His Voice Devotional to my daily walk with Jesus.
I highly recommend The One Year Hearing His Voice Devotional to all!

The One Year – Hearing His Voice Devotional by Chris Tiegreen is a great daily devotional to add to your daily quiet time to aid you in learning to hearing God’s voice. And while this isn’t always something we can readily discern, Mr. Tiegreen, helps us to learn to discover patterns and to adopt practices that will enable us to more readily hear His voice.
Each day’s devotional is powerfully written with not just a short story based on a particular scripture. The author opens up that scripture and with it’s teaching and thought provoking questions that you will most likely ponder through the day. After all, isn’t that what a daily devotion is about? Each day then closes with a prayer for a closer and deeper relationship with God.
I truly did enjoy this devotional and is one that I have, and continue, to keep as part of my daily quiet time.

I absolutely loved THE ONE YEAR HEARING HIS VOICE DEVOTIONAL. I used it with my family, and it was inspiring, comforting, challenging, and so much more. I love Chris Tiegreen’s voice in this devotional and will be keeping this as my go-to devotional when I want to spend quality time with God.
It includes a verse, a short devotional, and a prayer related to the devotional/verse reading.
If you are looking for a new devotional for yourself or for a gift, pick up THE ONE YEAR HEARING HIS VOICE DEVOTIONAL. You’ll be glad you did. 384 pages. Available in ebook and in paperback.
The One Year Hearing His Voice Devotional by Chris Tiegreen was a comprehensive collection of Scripture, Biblical history, personal thoughts/insight and prayers.
Written in such a way as to invite the reader to focus his or her attention on God and His Triune being and influence, the devotional did indeed promote intimacy and invite reflection.
I appreciated that the author's words caused me to think deeply and to slow down and consider my faith walk, as well as my relationship with the LORD.
I have elected to use this devotional as my personal OneWord devotional for the remainder of this year and into the next. I found that it ties in perfectly with my determined OneWord focus.
Rating: 5/5 Recommend: Yes Options: Bible Study Ministries, Church Libraries, Gifts-Gets Status: G Other: I would love for this to be in a journal format. It would have been great to write out my thoughts post each devotional.

I have looked at the other devotionals in this series before, and thought they looked good, but never bought one. When I saw this available for review, I decided there was no better time to try it.
As the title would suggest, this is a 365 day devotional. They go from January 1 through December 31. Each devotional starts with a Scripture verse, followed by a devotional, and ends with a short prayer.
I have not read the whole devotional, but have been reading it daily for a couple of weeks and looking through ones that precede the month of October. I would not have thought it possible to write a 365 day devotional all about hearing God's voice, but the author has done so. And they are great devotionals. I have read some devotionals in my life that were shallow, but these, although they are interesting and short, are not shallow, but are the kind that can inspire and help one on their walk with God, which is what a good devotional should do.
I like the devotional well enough that I am going to check out others in the series, which are by the same author. I'd recommend it for men or women.
This devotion book has been great for me. I have been going deeper in my spiritual walk and have been hearing God speak and guide me. This book has helped me confirm things I’ve experienced (like hearing God’s still small voice). I also really like the “From The Heart Of God” pages that are as if God is speaking directly to the reader. I love that each devotion is a full page long (It has meat to it --no fluff). I like that a lot of the Scripture passages aren’t the well known ones that everyone quotes. I also like the short prayers that end each devo. They are bold and very helpful to me.
Note: This book might not be for new believers, as it is deep, but it would be good for anyone who wants to hear God and who wants to seek Him with all their heart.
