Trapped in the Fire Kingdom's dungeon with only her Shadow for company, she can see no way out.
Things are not as they seem above ground, however.
Her friends have been thrown from the castle and her husband has found himself in deeper than he expected, with the world changing around him, will he be able to hold it all together until Kira is disposed of, or will his world crumble before it is meant to?
In the final installment of the series, follow Kira and her friends as they fight for their Kingdom, thier freedom, and their lives.
I had the honour of being beta reader once again for the finale of this series it isn’t out until November but I urge everyone to get it.
Starting from a personal standpoint as someone who is friends with the author; I am in such awe of Ree, for taking that first step in self-publishing and starting such an incredible series. Getting to know and read about these characters has been such a joy, having a character named Willow in POE after my child is still in of my big head moments and hers as she continues to tell people she is famous. I am immensely proud to know such a talented and creative person, who can paint images in my mind with the power of her words. Seeing how her writing style as adapted over time has been amazing to watch and I could not be prouder. I cannot wait for everyone to get their hands on this series, whether it’s WOW or starting as a newbie with POE.
Now for the final instalment of Kira’s story, without spoilers. This is hands down my favourite of the trilogy. The intense array of emotions I had from start to finish is something I’ve not experienced in a hot minute. As a dyslexic who struggles like crazy sometimes, I could not put this down. I think this is the fastest I have ever read a book by any person and I will be rereading asap.
There’s something so heartbreaking about having to say goodbye to the characters I’ve been reading about for the last 2(?) years. I feel like I could read about Kira, Maeteo, Cyrus etc forever as I’ve gotten so attached to them all but this was the perfect place to finish and say goodbye to these amazing characters.
The ending is so beautiful and I cried a lot for reasons I cannot disclose without spoilers but I highly recommend having tissues handy because those last ten chapters- oof.
Thank you so much Ree for trusting me with being your beta and allowing me to read your words. I cannot wait to see what you get up to next and to read your next book! Forever proud and love you lots!! I guess I will forgive you for breaking my heart.
I was so incredibly lucky to be emailed an ARC for this book before the publication date. I absolutely love the series and this author, and the ending to this trilogy was so heartwarming and amazing. Very emotional and incredible conclusion. Can't wait to read more from this author 🤗❤️🩹
I can't believe this trilogy has come to an end! I absolutely loved it. I don’t typically read much YA, but this series has made me wonder why I don’t! The characters, especially Kira, go through so much. It was amazing to see her evolve from an ordinary girl into a strong, empowered woman over the course of the books. Honestly, this series is a solid 10/10!
This review is my own opinion and I received a copy as a beta reader.
Genuinely so sad that this trilogy has come to an end!! Never been so hooked by a set of books, so well written & was so easy to create a picture in my head for what was happening in the book. The ending was perfect & would recommend anyone to read all 3 of these books!
Very lucky to have been able to beta read this entire series! Once again I absolutely loved this story! It had me on edge the entire time I was reading it (also a few tears were shed) Thank you for the chance to be a beta reader through this entire series 💞 I adored reading Kiras story & her journey the entire way through! Can’t recommend this series enough
