An Eastern Epic Fantasy and Wuxia Inspired Series: A Sequel to The Quest for Qieta
Darkness cloaks the Kingdom of Shinrin. This once peaceful land is now tainted with fear, panic, and terror—haunted and possessed by the unknown that lurks beneath their waters.
With both of his guards away, Prince Takashi must face the fate of what may become of them and endure the increasing horrors of his crumbling kingdom alone.
As the past of the infamous Mutoren slowly comes to light, the island of Qieta seems to remain at the center of these ever-evolving mysteries.
Dr. Ting-Wei Wu, known by her peers as Tina Wu, was born in Taiwan and moved to the United Kingdom in 2001. As a little girl with a big imagination, the Quest for Qieta series has lived in her mind since the age of sixteen. At last, over a decade later, she has put pen to paper to bring the universe of Neputa to life.
Tina is a doctor in the UK. She is an avid lover of martial arts (namely Tae Kwon Do) and spends her free time drawing, reading, and watching anime. She also loves K-POP and has been a BTS ARMY since 2015.
Thank you to the author for the chance to read this sequel in advance to the release date.
Another captivating work, surpassing even the first installment. The plot is tight and gripping, with hidden conspiracies finally coming to light.
Spoilers ahead.
We must talk about the character Seiji, who is portrayed as incredibly intelligent, gentle, and kind, radiating the beauty of humanity. The author's delicate description makes this angelic character's fate all the more heartbreaking. It may take me several days to recover from this sorrow.
In summary, the second installment's plot is even more intense and unpredictable than the first, with many surprising scenes. Every character is vividly portrayed, and Satoshi's elegant yet sharp-tongued demeanor leaves a lasting impression. I'm very curious about the direction the story will take next and can hardly wait to read the third installment.

This sequel to “The Quest of Qieta” was amazing from start to finish, just like the first instalment I was glued to this book and could not put it down. This book dived a lot deeper into the psyche of certain characters which helped us as readers understand certain motivations for characters, especially for Sana in particular. New characters are also introduced who all have their own unique character traits and personalities which make them stand out a lot.
The book does take a more slower pace in regards to the action we experienced in the first book, however this led to more development in the story through the use of character interactions which I believe this author excels masterfully at doing. I am honestly so excited to read the next instalment of this series once it comes out!
Book 1 left a lasting impression, and book 2 not only builds upon that foundation but also shines brilliantly on its own merits. This sequel is a such a refreshing gem, brimming with such purity and wholesomeness while weaving a tapestry of unexpected twists and heart-wrenching moments that captivated me and even brought some tears. The story unfolds with finesse, revealing new depths on every page, keeping me fully engaged.
Loved how the sequel expanded the world from ‘The Quest for Qieta’. The story was action packed and gripping, I need the third book already! I loved the introduction of new characters and expansion of Sana’s backstory.
