I’ve been thinking a lot about life after death and decided to read this compilation of mostly LDS stories from people who have died and come back to life. I was amazed at so many things that almost word for word matched among different narrators and decades. It brought me a lot of comfort and enthusiasm for the spirit world. Some of the stories were a little weird and some were so sad in the dying part even though the heaven part was uplifting.

Intriguing accounts of near death experiences. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone struggling with the question "is there life after life?" It is my personal belief that there is a life after our mortal life. I believe death is merely a change, and that much awaits us "on the other side." These accounts provide strong evidence that my beliefs are correct.

Ok, some of the stories are very good and others sound utterly fake. It recycles several stories from previous LDS historical accounts. Some of the stories aren't NDEs at all but rather dreams or feelings/mind's eye visions. Very diverse collection.

Interesting and thought provoking

A great collection of stories that cause the reader to ponder what the important parts of life are and encourages one to start a question to serve more, live a little better, and fulfill ones mission in this mortal sphere.

I thought this book was ok. It was way too long. I didn’t like when they would give stories of people in the 1800’s. I was looking for comfort from people’s experiences in today’s time. I do feel some of the stories were true but most of them just seem made up to me.

Good selection of the accounts of near death, out of body, and visits from those who have already died with majority with LDS perspective.

I liked Visions from Beyond. I remember reading other books from Lee Nelson that made a difference in my life decades ago. It helped when a couple of years later I became a widow.
These are different experience with life beyond the veil or when people have died and come back. These are very personal stories. The different stories have some of the same experiences of being met by relatives. Some people were sent back because they have something left in their lives to do.
Others were given a choice of staying or going back and facing trials but their families needed them.

Most of these stories are from Latter-day Saints. They know that death is not the end of life. That the family members they saw were alright and had a busy life. They share their stories to help others cope with the loss of loved ones.

Their are so many stories. I would love to read this just a few stories at a time and enjoy them instead of having to rush through the book like I have.

It is so difference to read these than when I first read these stories. Mainly my life experiences and trials I have gone through.

I know that their is life after death. That family is so important in this side of the veil and the other side of the veil.

This book is not preaching but does show what people believed and why they had these events happen to them.

I was given this ebook to read from Cedar Fort so I could give a honest review and be part of its blog tour.

I haven't read any of the Beyond the Veil series so all these stories were new to me. I enjoy reading near-death experiences (NDEs) and like to learn what people who have had them share. Every experience is so different, yet there are lots of similarities between them.

I love that I could read a few stories, put it down and pick it up again later. I did find myself reading just one more story quite often. Some are quite short and others are longer with quite a bit of detail. There were a few times that the person who had the experience didn't seem to get much out of it for themselves but wanted to share it in case it helped someone else.

I liked getting little glimpses of many different people's experiences and wished that some of them had been a little bit longer. What they all share is that there are amazing things awaiting us when we die. I enjoyed reading these stories and look forward to reading it again!

I received a copy of this book to review. My opinion is 100% my own.

Beautifully written!
Beautifully put together!
This book will compel you to ponder the idea of life after death.

We all wonder...

What happens next?
Is this life all there is?
Where do we go?

Story after story is plainly given of those who have died and come back...and what happened to them.

Also shared are stories of those who have felt a loved one from beyond the veil.

Tenderly given so that those who fear death might have a reason to be comforted.

Each story is unique...
Each story shares similarities...
Each story will strengthen and inspire those who read...

"a true testament to the eternal nature of God’s plan"

A book DEFINITELY WORTH READING!
