Excellent read - Percy Seymour provides a decent foundational understanding of the field of astronomy and discusses various different major topics within the field, and also includes 100 ways of advancing your understanding of astronomy as well.

10/10. Will be reading again esp. if I end up in theoretical physics at PhD level.
