This is one of those books I was searching for 20 years ago. It is also one of those books that I wish I had written myself! If you're looking for a book to describe, activate, and help you understand the "how" of God's Kingdom on earth, this is one of them! Buy the book and underline your way through it, making plenty of notes in the margins, it's that kind of book! Highly recommend!
From page 64:
"The power of God that backs up the authority He has given us comes through the work of His Holy Spirit in and through us. Therefore, to access God's power, you must be willing to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When you do, you will gain the power that enforces the authority Christ has given you. (See Acts 1:8.) Many believers read what the Word says, but because they have not received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the infilling of God's power, they often struggle and begin to question God, doubting the truth and effectiveness of His Word. They wonder, "Is it truly real? Is it truly right? because it doesn't seem to be working in their lives. It is real and true. Thankfully, through His Spirit, God provides the power that makes His Word active and effective in our lives."
Not only is the above quote truth, it is part of my own story seeking God.
