When Alyssa Archer returned home a day early from an out-of-town business trip to find her fiancé in bed with the younger sister of her best friend, she didn’t fly off the handle as some might expect. Instead, she retreated to her dining room to partake of the dinner she’d picked up as a surprise.
That night set off a trail of vengeance so dark even Machiavelli would blush.

Garrett Jacobi didn't expect to feel anything for the up-and-coming financial hotshot when they met. But just days after meeting her for the first he finds himself taking the place of the groom and embarking on one heck of a ride as his new bride makes a swath of destruction through her enemies.

A little leery to read this as past JS reads delved a little too much into the breeder deal and I can only handle so much sperm. This is more a revenge story....let me clarify, this IS a revenge story. It was much more fun than the others I've read.

Alyssa aka Psycho-heroine finds her fiancé having sex with her best friend's little sister and doesn't pass go or collect her $200 on her quest to take revenge on the world. For starters, she burns her mattress the proceeds from there.

It was a lot of fun at first, but after a while the ongoing revenge was just exhausting. Along the way she marries a billionaire who is quite indulgent of her insanity revenge plans. She gets a new closet of clothes, heirloom jewelry and a Grace Kelly inspired wedding dress. I need a billionaire.

The plot goes a little wonky at times, and several characters are introduced in the epilogue I had no idea who they were but apparently belong in the Lyon series.

I do mention one issue that I consider triggering. Yes, there is cheating and cheating is discussed incessantly, but the trigger issue is that one of the characters slaps her baby. Its not detailed but the fact that it happened was disturbing to me at least.

This is typical JS.
Everything is ott.
The heroine finds her fiance in bed with her bff little sister a few day before her wedding.
She doesn’t cry, or get mad. She burns the mattress then becomes quite determined to make it pay to all the people in her life that hurt her. Her father left her mother when she was 8 and married another woman and for the last 15 years he’s been a father to ow daughter more than he’s been to her.
She will ruin the life of them all. His father, her stepmother, his ex fiance, slutty ow, all with method and cold blood.
Enter the hero, who’s the best man ever.
He’s kind, committed, faithful, honest, and more mature than her. He saw her and it’s been insta love, so now that she’s free he proposes.
I liked that, even if he knows she’s unhinged, he loves her and supports her whatever she does.
Actually she is quite mild compared to other stories. She cuts ties with her bff because she tries to excuse what her sister did with the heroine fiance.
She cuts ties with her father because he cheated on his wife when she was depressed and divorced her to marry ow.
It was all very ott.
There is a lot of inner dialogue so you can understand the mind process of everyone, and most characters have a pov, which I liked because I could see what was actually in their mind.
The stepmother is typical evil woman who is ready to do everything o get what she wants, and she wants a rich husband.
The heroines father is a typical weak man, even if he wasn’t getting any from his wife for eight years since she was suffering from severe depression, the heroine never forgives him for cheating and for leaving his wife and children when they most needed it.
There’s also a secondary story that is the one between the heroine’s parents. Her mother never stopped caring for her husband and her husband actually divorced her because ow threatened her and the heroine, how the man could not protect them from her threats is not clear, but the heroine points out more than once that if he found himself in that place it was all his fault.
I love the heroine, she’s crazy but she’s fair and has values. She’s honest, clear, faithful to her cheating fiance for four years, she lives according to her values. And I love the very truthful representation of her childhood trauma, that is quite politically not correct, but it’s real. People divorce, marriages end, but children are always hurt. Some of them acts with more resilience, some of them get trauma and don’t recover well. This is the reality of divorced couples with children. Those two people divorced, the wife was severely depressed for years and couldn’t take care properly of her daughter, and her father was not a father for 15 years. The heroine suffered from depression and trauma for years, and the hero was smart enough to understand that and to be the strong pillar she needed. The book may seem shallow and humorous but it’s not shallow at all. It gives different perspectives on a theme that is very common but it’s often treated in a mono dimensional way.
There are some very humorous moments, one of the best was the first sexual encounter between them, I laughed all the time and couldn’t even tell why I was laughing! Thankfully there were not too many sex scenes in the books, not as many as JS usually has, so it was ok for me.
There is also a hero’s crazy ex and that was imo someone I would have done without, because it only added pages to the story. The woman abuses her very small son and is deranged because she wants the hero back. I appreciated once again that the hero was very loyal to the heroine and never doubted her words.
He’s the best.
The heroine in the end becomes a bit less vengeful and even helps her stepsister that she realizes has also been a victim of her mother’s evil plans. No one dies her but evil stepmother goes to jail, while heroine’s ex and ow are dispatched to some tropical island where they have to adapt to live with local tribes. That was really cute. I liked also that the heroine didn’t actually forgive anyone, not even her father completely for what he did, because in the end he hurt her, and was not able to protect her from further hurt after he divorced his wife.
So, I know this book is no high literary prose but to me it was ok. As JS would say, sue me.

This was some fun fuckery
Classic JS when she goes off into crazy town

Romance was great! H was classic JS OTT H

H had a 8 yr relationship around 4 year prior to meeting the h. Never loved her or wanted a future she was easy to be with and they were friends—- I HATED this cause it became part of the story. 8 years!!!! That’s a freaking marriage. I prefer they not have that. Plus he was still highly experienced.

h was in a 4 year relationship and engaged when she came home to find him cheating. She didn’t love him. And apparently his dick was so small that her hymen hasn’t even been broken‼️‼️‼️ so yeah the H still got to bust that bubble,

The h sets out to get revenge on her ex and his cheating hussy. And her dad and his wife’s and her kid cause the dad cheated and married her leaving the h mom devastated and messing w the h childhood.

So bottom line DONT CHEAT! lol
She gets a new man one that is obsessed with her and there is a ton of fuckery.

It might have been a 4 star read had he not had a ex of 8 YEARS! That was constantly brought up and part of the story.

I want a H that has only ever had that kind of relationship with the h

Also it’s way to long and I wish there was more focus on the h ex and the slut he slept with and the romance then her dads wife

Whilst I loved the revenge plot,
(well certain parts of it because after a while it just went off the rail),
the way the MMC was obsessed with the fmc and helped her with her revenge and sibling love between the fmc and her brothers (wish we had more of their interactions)

The writing was not good
Half the time I didn't know who was talking
The story was all over the place. It desperately needed to be edited and could have done with 100+ pages less

There were exclamation marks at the end of almost every single sentence.
Too many different pov's. I honestly didn't need to know exactly thought for thought what was going on in her step mom, step sis ect... head

The MC's storyline wasn't completed. We were left wondering what's going on with them and what's happening with her and her family.

The book read as if it was written in a different language then translated into English (and not very well done either)

Boring I was Bored in the first few chapters never got better

This is normally a great author I don’t know what happened but the last few years none of her books have struck gold mainly 1 stars a few 2 but I miss her old books wheres Gabriel, Talon, Gabe, Marcus, Stefano, and Josh had me swooning. Wheres the morally grey anti hero takes things almost too far. Where are the hot alpha men in her old books who cant live without their women and the women who fight like hell and resist but end up giving into their demands. Wheres passion, taken, and all the good books

I miss the old Jordan Silver because the new one just isnt cutting it

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

This is book was a real roller coaster, you get pov from almost all of the major characters. The heroine Alyssa is a real psychopath or is it sociopath? I think it’s probably both, Garrett her future husband is really no better. The book starts with Alyssa returning home early from a business trip where she signed a huge deal for her company with Garrett‘s company. This is the first time that they meet. She picks up a fancy celebratory dinner for her and her fiancé Denny only to find him in bed with her best friend Sherry’s little sister, Lacey.
At the age of eight Alyssa‘s world was rocked when her parents divorced. The divorce was due to infidelity on her dad‘s part so she has always hated cheaters. She literally conditioned herself to deal with future cheating from her boyfriend and husband, so she was completely prepared when she found Denny having sex with Lacey in their bed, she calmly finished the dinner then went upstairs, dragged their mattress downstairs into the backyard and literally lit it on fire. During all of this Denny and Lacey leave.
Her brothers come over to try to keep her calm, but she talks them into leaving her for the evening saying she’s fine. She then heads over to her dad Corbin’s house and proceeded to smack him around with a baseball bat, smack his affair partner turned wife, Helen and threatened her daughter, Mitzie, who was forced by Helen to compete with Alyssa for her father’s affection.
She breaks her engagement to Denny, cuts off Sherry and decides she’s going to turn her destination wedding in Cabo into just a family reunion. Little does she know that Garrett is thrilled that she’s no longer engaged and shows up in Cabo where he owns a house and proceeds to propose to her. It was love at first sight when Garrett saw Alyssa at the business meeting, he’s never had this feeling ever before, he is obsessed with her. He’s always been about his business so he knew she was the one for him when he can’t stop thinking of her. He was going to do whatever was needed to get her.
After spending the day together, he convinces her to marry him. He promises to always have her back and never cheat on her. The rest of the book is pretty much all the crazy escapades that happen during Alyssa‘s need for revenge against: Denny, Lacey, her stepmother, her dad who she’s never forgiven, and Mitzie. After she married Garrett, Natalie, Garrett’s ex is also added to the revenge list when she alludes to the fact that Alyssa is just a gold digger, and she married Garrett for his money. Our little sociopath has started to fall in love with her crazy husband and is hurt when he defends Natalie and doesn’t say anything about her gold digger comment. He apologizes and they have make up sex. (Their sex in general was always so violent.)
Garrett supports Alyssa in her revenge plot, actually provides even more resources for her since he’s a billionaire. Anytime he questions her methods she pretty much threatens his life or tells him she will divorce him. And this crackpot loves it. Cue more violent sex.

You get POV from Denny and how his life is completely gone out of control, you get POV from Helen, who doesn’t understand where she went wrong, all she wanted was a better life for herself and her daughter Mitzie, when she trapped Corbin into marrying her. You find out in the very end of the book that Corbin never cheated with Helen. Helen made the whole thing up after drugging Corbin.

Quick backstory on the perceived cheating Gigi, Alyssa‘s mom was suffering from serious postpartum depression after having four kids in 10 years and Corbin, so busy with work never realized how terrible her mental health had become. A dead bedroom for five years, leads to an emotional affair with Helen, which during a drunk/drugged night, Helen pretended it was an actual cheating affair. Sadly that fuels Alyssa’s rage that leads to all of these other issues and the author never addresses it at the end. It would’ve been so great for Gigi to know that Corbin never really did cheat on her because it is brought up that they were each other’s one and only, and knowing that he cheated causes Gigi so much more mental anguish. Although these two are crazy too after a couple years, Corbin and Gigi talk and decide they’re gonna try and get back together again after Corbin tells him Helen threatened Alyssa and her if he didn’t stay with her so they get Corbin on some medication that helps keep his libido low and Corbin during the 15 years that he is married to Helen never has sex with her. About 10 years these two have been seeing each other. They go on business trips together and spend holidays together, but they never have sex either. See crazy roller coaster ride!

Back to Alyssa and Garrett they go to visit his family in California and she’s going to give Natalie a verbal smack down. Only the smack happens to Natalie‘s little boy. Natalie is still obsessed with Garrett and very unhappy in her marriage and physically abuses her little son. Neither Alyssa or Garrett can stand any kind of abuse to a child and gather evidence of her abuse and get her away from her son.
Alyssa is pregnant and scared of PPD like her mom, but Garrett has all the best doctors ready to treat her for any issues that can arise. She’s now good friends with Mitzie who Garrett sent to rehab and a school were she learned to be a hair stylist.
Last chapter was about Natalie and Lyon and his crew taking “care” of her.
Ok rides over 🤣. The book was very entertaining, these people are all crazy and all deserve each other. There are dozens of other things that happen to every character that I didn’t even touch on.

I enjoyed this because I love reading about revenge, but I wasn't a big fan of the h.

She had been in a (sexual) relationship for 4 years, planned to marry him, yet she did not like him nor felt attracted to him. Then when she marries the H instead and they consummate the marriage, it turns out she still has a hymen because of her ex's small equipment... why not just make her a virgin to begin with? Why make up some convoluted explanation as to why still have a "deflowering" scene? The h used the fact she bled to ridicule the ex and his size... but she still happily fucked him for four whole years. It gave me so much second hand embarrassment.

If you want the h to be a virgin, just make her a virgin and not into some self disrespecting moron with no standards for partners, damn.

Other than that, I did not like her treatment of the H and how she prioritised her revenge more than her marriage. It just showed that she did not learn her lesson and if it hadn't been the H who snapped her up, she'd just move on and continue dating absolute losers like her ex.

Oh, and the ending... I saw that coming a lightyear away, but I was still incredibly disappointed that it came out in the END of the book, and that there was absolutely NO follow up or actual resolution to an issue that ruined her entire childhood and was the main topic in the entire damn book. Boo.

Here we go…AGAIN

Not sure what irritated me more:
-the constant repetition in every single chapter as if they just needed to hit a specific word or chapter count, unnecessarily rehashing why Alyssa was hurt and causing havoc, we get it.
-the 10 different POVs- I’m not even joking. Every single person mentioned got their own point of view damn near. (Alyssa & Garrett, her mom, her dad, her step mom, step sister, her ex fiancé, the woman he cheated with, Garrett’s ex) — going through all those different angles just for Alyssa & Garrett to gloss over where things ended with each was a waste of everyone’s time.
-the fact that yet ANOTHER book is being forcibly connected to Lyon’s world.

Thought the author was making a comeback with the Ex series which I enjoyed but this work is just one big rambling

Great story and I really enjoyed all the different points of views that moved the story along. Would have liked more of Garrett and Alyssa together and their own epilogue. Felt their personal story was a bit unfinished. Still a great revenge read.

Let her Cook --- shoulda been the title.
This is one of the most enjoyable Jordan Silver books I've read. It takes her talent of writing crazy women and makes them humanized in a really great way. It takes her smart and uses it. It takes her internal monologue that she is wonderful at and fully vocalizes it. Jordan has this weird talent for 1 liners and it's always things I end up half looking up. This hits well, excutes well. And leaves you at a good place. Sometimes she has a habit of writing brat type women and you end up disliking the woman through most of the book. But I feel like this is a hurt women yea but if you don't mess with her she don't mess with you. That's not a brat. That's self preservation.

I'm here for the crazy. I honestly, wish there was more. And we got a second ninth circle book but she done rip through everyone with two feet. like she put her foot in it. let her cook.

I had to dnf at 20% of the way into the book.

There isn’t much depth to the characterization and the pov jumps all over the place.

There are elements to the story that don’t track and merely add more confusion and chaos to the story.

The billionaire plot point is also creeping me out a bit and he seems to be in play merely as a foil to the cheating finance- who we still know nothing about thus far (other than the fact that she never loved him…???).

Ninth Circle was about 23-year-old Alyssa Archer, occupation unknown, and 32-year-old Garrett Jacobi, billionaire occupation unknown.

This story was unlike anything I've read recently, and that's a good thing. It has the POV of at least nine characters, including the two main characters, Alyssa and Garrett. This made the story quite long, but not boring, and didn't detract from the book's enjoyment.

Alyssa returned home from a business trip (where she met Garrett for the first time) to find her fiance Dennie in bed with her BFF's younger sister, Lacey. Rather than confronting them, she sat down to eat the dinner she had picked up on her way home from the airport for her and Dennie. When the two cheaters exited the bedroom to find Alyssa eating calmly at the dining table, they didn't know what to expect. From then on, there was a major plot twist unlike anything I've ever read. Alyssa began plotting her revenge on everyone who had hurt her from the age of 8 to the present. This went back to the moment her wayward father hurt her mother, her, and her three brothers. No one was left unscathed...except for Garrett, and he only got away without harm because he chose to side with her.

Alyssa and Denny had planned a destination wedding in Cabo. Instead of canceling everything, she chose to make it a family vacation, while still plotting the social demise of her enemies. What she hadn't planned for was Garrett. Unknown to her, he had taken one look at her and decided she would be his. Much to his delight, he didn't have to fight her fiance to get her, so instead of canceling the wedding, he took the place of the groom and joined forces with Alyssa on her quest for revenge.

Side Note: It would have been nice if the author had included the scene showing how Alyssa and Garrett met. However, the reader was never shown that. The book began after the fact and presented with a fait accompli, so we never got to take part in the beginning of their relationship. I think that was necessary to solidify the chemistry supposedly already there when things hit the fan at the usurped destination wedding.

I loved how methodical Alyssa was in her acts of revenge. This girl knew who she was, what she wanted, and how she would get it. There was genius behind her madness, and at times she was a bit scary in how she doled out her retribution. Garrett had to reign her in from time to time, while at the same time making certain he didn't find himself on the wrong end of the revenge plot.

There was plenty of angst, a ton of drama, a good amount of spice, and a mountain of controversy. Those who found themselves on the bad side of Alyssa never knew what hit them, and never knew what would be next to do so.

The main characters were fully developed and, for the most part, mature, with a ton of growth taking place. There were times that it seemed the FMC was acting from an immaturity level from childhood, but when the reader took into account how her past had warped and shaped her, it was understandable. She used a great deal of profanity, sometimes when it wasn't needed, and she would lose her maturity temporarily and revert to a childish temper tantrum. The way this woman's mind worked, however, was more than a little remarkable.

Unfortunately, there were some downsides to the book. The grammatical errors were atrocious but manageable, and it was unnecessarily repetitive. There was also the title "Ninth Circle". The reason for that was never made clear, and there was nothing to connect it to in the storyline...unless I missed it, which is entirely possible considering the length. Several issues were left unresolved, some of which were a bit important to the flow of the book, and it felt like it ended in a cliffhanger with no follow-up story (that I've been able to uncover at this point. Perhaps there is and I've just not seen it.). Still, it was an excellent story, and it was one that I chose to give a three-star rating to just because of how uniquely it was written.

I usually love JS books but not sure I liked the plot of this one.

So I really didn’t like the the female lead. I did actually like many of her explanations for her way of thinking and why she was still hurt my her fathers affair. It more that she went out of her way to provoke people to act in the worst way. It was definitely OT revenge and seemed very childish at times. The characters I liked the least were her parents. The father married the affair partner for 15 years but was secretly in a platonic/emotional relationship with the ex wife? Literally every single person suffered because of their weird plan to be separated for so long. The wife doesn’t have sex for literally 23 years or something. I don’t know how that’s punishment to her cheating husband.
I loved the brothers and the Garret, our H though. This story was a little different in that it didn’t focus on his 12 inch penis and a million orgasms but was about the revenge of the h’s cheating fiancé (not the H) and her dad, stepmom and step sister for their behavior after he leaves his first wife.
The whole craziness with Garrett’s ex girlfriend was not needed in my opinion. There were seriously at least 3-4 different plots going on.
I skimmed/quick read the second half.

I don't know why I keep trying books by this author. The description is intriguing and the beginning of the book seems promising but in the end it's disappointing. The h is the least likeable character I've encountered. No matter how much the author tried to present her revenge as justified the h just comes across as a vengeful bitch. It's really hard to understand how the handsome, billionaire H fell in love at first sight. The h was supposedly traumatized by the infidelity and divorce of her father when she was 8 years old. Her mother suffered from PPD for four years. She went from being Daddy's little girl to someone who was abused by her stepmother. When the h flies home early from a business trip to surprise her fiance, she finds him in their bed with her best friend's younger sister. This unleashes revenge on her father, stepmother, stepsister, ex fiance, best friend's sister and her husband 's ex. The H steps in to the planned wedding and replaces the fiance as the groom. The H is more a caricature than a believable person. Themes of child abuse and human trafficking are not enough to redeem the book.

what’s happening with Jordan Silver??

This is not the author I discovered years ago and love!! She was an automatic click for me. Her recent stories have been very very lacking to say the least. The stories are horrible stories about revenge on anyone whether you deserve it or not. There is very little focus on the actual couple. It’s all about plotting against those who wronged them. Everyone even the tertiary characters have segments, taking focus away from the main characters. It’s not just this book! It’s almost all her recent books!
What happened to possessive hero and strong heroine who supposed her partner? Even the sex scenes are lackluster! The language is different!
Another annoying thing! Did she change her editor?? Who edited this book?? It’s riddled with mistakes! It’s as though a middle schooler has impersonated her.
I am very disappointed in this Jordan Silver and I hope she goes back to the author who wrote the Lyon series. That’s the author I love. This author, I don’t know or understand.

Why you do me dirty??

I am not sure what made this series where the idea came from. I am not complaining since I am here for the petty revenge. The scenes including the squad is also awesome but I just have one question what going to happen now. The story was great like always but I want to know what happened to Corbin and Alyssa relationship that is my big question. I was hoping to read of the birth of the child since all the books provide us that happy moment. Don’t get me wrong all Ms Jordan books are great that I couldn’t put down that I was mad I had to sleep I just feel like there was no closure for father and daughter. Like right when the moment I was waiting for happened and the scene changed. Ms Jordan why you have to do me dirty like that please I am begging can we have bonus epilogue.
Okay I am done ranting the book was great and am definitely going to reread this book again in the future when I am in a book slump.

I loved it until it got to the end

This is a crazy wild ride, a tale of a daughters revenge.
Pros: I loved seeing each persons perspective
It was well written, flowed, lots of character development
I understood and agreed with Alyssa's logic, I liked her thought process
And I liked her stance on issues of child abuse and cheating

Cons: it was long and sometimes repetitive
There was zero romance. I'd have loved to see sexual tension, romance and true feelings between Garrett and Alyssa
Alyssa's need for revenge went a bit too far in some instances
I didn't appreciate how she spoke and dealt with Garrett, very little softening despite him loving her, having her best interest at heart and doing everything for her. There were too many ultimatums and not enough give on her part

Still an interesting read and different from most things I've read, which that in and of itself makes it worth the read

I always get a good kick with books that have OTD. And I have to say I also get a good laugh with this author’s cheating trope. I will say it was annoying with the over usage of exclamation points❗️ for simple verbiage.
After a while, the storyline just became over the top and needless, many things repeating itself. Although I have to point out one of my favorite things this author does is writing many POVs, especially the OW 🤣.
Somehow, somewhere there was some strange plotline that was introduced that literally made no sense to me, and as I stated earlier, it just started getting too wordy and repetitive, and I lost my focus and skimmed to the end.
Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I will recommend picking up a book like this by this author if you’re in a reading slump and need something mindless, lol especially at the expense of the cheaters themselves and the retribution🤣😅. Makes for a good laugh.

Wow..this book is like the Bible of revenge. It was really good but really long. I've really enjoyed the latest Jordan Silver revenge books, I liked this one, but it seemed to drag some. The main F character catches her fiancee cheating and it kicks off her spree of revenge on everyone that has did her wrong in her life, starting with her father that cheated on her mother. I love the humor in these books, I laughed out loud a couple of times.. fleas? They don't fly but still hilarious. I think the book could have been shorter and less complicated if the reasons her father cheated and his relationship with her mom had been explained to her instead of a hidden secret, too many of them. But it was a great book and I can't wait for the next one. Kudos Jordan Silver!

nearly a perfect five star read

A 4.5-4.75 star read!!

“Your mind terrifies me.” “Yeah, be terrified!”

Honestly, I liked this book so much!! It was so funny, the dialogue, the story, the characters. It was done really well. Nearly the whole story was about revenge and SHE WAS RIGHT!!! It was so fun to see everyone get their whacks.

I kinda hated that the was kinda sorta let off the hook in the epilogue because again, she was right - he did let all these things happen to her!!! I hated that we never saw the family reconcile - like she told us her brothers, their wives and her mother were all basically back to normal but I wanted to see that scene play out.

I didn’t like that the epilogue was used to draw us to another book and we didn’t get any closure with Jacks.

Overall, a nearly perfect book that I had so much fun reading. Alyssa was a hoot!! Garret was incredible.

This book sounded similar to the Ex's series. It was definitely entertaining but some parts were extremely repetitive. I was unsure as to why there was a need to keep repeating some stuff.

To be honest Alyssa wasn't a favorite of mine. Where I can sympathize with her for stuff she been through as a child her personality was a turn off. She's extremely narcissistic. As others mentioned her behavior was like a spoil brat if she didn't get her way she would make someone's life miserable.

The ending also was left in a cliffhanger almost...too many unanswered questions. It was good seeing a cross over but I'm still trying to remember who is Marcus and Jackie.

What happened to Natalie? And why is Alyssa still not willing to speak to her father after learning so many truths of what she suspected didn't happen? We don't get a conclusion on that.

I started the book intrigued and amused by the premise of this sweet Southern belle seeking revenge on those who wronged her. By the middle of the novel I was a bit bored because it kept going over the same material. Over and over. By the end, I was back into it as new elements were introduced. And at the very end, I wanted to know more about Jacks and Marcus and their organization.

I debated a two-star or three-star rating. Probably should have been two because of all the editing errors (punctuation, wrong words, misspelled words, etc.). But I did like the book overall. Not sure I would choose to read another. Maybe, unless the premise really intrigued me. I do hope the author finds a good proofreader or editor to help them out.

This woman is cray cray!!!

Be for warned never cheat on a woman who tells you the only thing she won't tolerate is cheating!!! Alyssa is certifiable and her now fiance just got caught being unfaithful. They always tell you its the quiet ones you have to watch. Alyssa quietly waits for the cheaters to finish, then proceeds to drag the mattress out to her backyard and burn it. Garrett met Alyssa earlier that same day and it was love at first sight, now he's got to convince her to marry him in the destination wedding that was planned for Alyssa and her cheating ex. All this is going on while Alyssa methodically plots revenge against all the people who hurt her including her dad and the woman her left her mom for!!!

Overall - 4,5 stars. Better than most. An extended epilogue would have been nice. A mama-bear moment at the playground or something :)))

What was truly amazing.. was the image the author was able to present from each character’s perspective.. every deranged aspect of everyone’s mind. Somehow.. “you got their point”.
Even if at the end of the chapter the reaction was… “isn’t that cute, but it’s wrong”!!!!
If you are in some kind of slump I would recommend this book and the song “This is me” (whatever version gets your mental engine pumped!)

Enjoy the combo… and do good! (or Alyssa will hunt your ass! :)) )

P/S Just one thing to be amended- fleas do NOT have wings. ““She opened her mouth to scream, and a few fleas flew in.”
They are amazing jumpers, true.. but they cannot fly!

okay

Overall this book was good. I struggled so hard with Alyssa. She was always so quick to judge others. I loved most of the revenge on some of the people. I hated that she was supposed to be all big and bad and had all this information on people before she acted but when it came to some people, she didn’t have it and made terrible judgement calls. I wish it would have told you how her relationship with her dad was after she found out the truth. I hated how she treated her mom and brothers after all they have done for her. Alyssa was a super spoiled brat who was very selfish and self centered. She did not care about other peoples opinions, views or points.

great plot and great female lead but load of grammar errors

Over all I thought this book was good. I loved the story and I absolutely love total crushing revenge. However it was poorly written. I get that the chapters are labeled by who’s POV it is BUT half the time you have to figure out who they’re talking too. It never says who’s speaking and it became very frustrating. There were a lot of grammatical errors and just didn’t seem like it had been edited very well. I still gave four starts because again I LOVED the level of revenge and honestly I wish more female leads were as bad ass as Alyssa! Great book just think it needs be sent back to the editors.
